Coming off their biggest win of the year - a season-changing 28-14 victory over rival Michigan - the Michigan State Spartans will have no time to waste when gearing up for a Big Ten tilt with No. 6 Wisconsin. The Badgers have been the toughest team in the conference this season, and if the Spartans want to capitalize on the momentum they gained from their in-state rivalry, they'll have to find an answer for top quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson's first year on campus has been a major reason why the Badgers have vaulted up the college football odds board. Though he won't have the masses at Camp Randall Stadium backing him on the road, he will have the NCAA futures. In Lansing, sights are less set on winning the national title and more on salvaging a season that looked at one point in jeopardy. A Week 3 loss to Notre Dame took the wind out the club?s sails but they've managed to win ball games when its mattered most. If MSU manages to survive this weekend against Wisconsin they'll face No. 13 Nebraska before matching up against the currently-winless Minnesota Gophers. Nobody ever said it would be easy on the college football betting lines, but both Wisconsin and Michigan State have impressed at times over the course of the season. Now given the opportunity, will the underdog Spartans give the popular Badgers a run for their money? BET ON COLLEGE FOOTBALL WITH BODOG. HOME OF OVERCOMING THE ODDS.

Evan Abrams -- Specialties: NFL/CFB/MLB/NBA/CBB Years Handicapping: 8 Biggest Win This Year: When I think of my biggest victory in my handicapping career, picking the Giants to beat the Patriots outright in the Super Bowl has to be at the top of the list, but my biggest win so far this season had to have been my 10 unit play on the money line of Hawaii to beat Nevada outright in the middle of October as a 7-point underdog. I have played on and against Hawaii in a lot of games so far this season, the reason for this is because I see a ton of value in the way they play the game. For example, in the game versus Boise State, the value was against Hawaii, but like in the game I just mentioned, Hawaii was playing at home, which is usually a huge advantage for them and they ended up winning the game outright. Sports Handicapping Philosophy: For me, it comes down to formulas, statistics and tons of research. Picking games is how I make a living, so you when you follow my plays you know you get picks each and every time that has gone through tons and tons of filters and research to make sure you, my client, gets the percentages put in your favor. Before a line comes out for any sporting event, both sides have a fifty-fifty chance of winning the game; my job is to make sure once the line comes out, all of my clients get a better than 50% chance of taking advantage of a certain spread or total. My expert plays come from many different facets of the game and that is what differentiates me from other sports handicappers.
The Winnipeg Jets and the Toronto Maple Leafs will both be gunning for a victory on Wednesday when they meet at Air Canada Centre.Oddsmakers currently have the Maple Leafs listed as 175-moneyline favorites versus the Jets, while the game's total is sitting at 5½. Winnipeg was a 2-1 winner in its last match at home against the Penguins. They won as +125 underdogs, while the total score of 3 made winners of UNDER bettors. Last time out for Toronto, they were a 3-2 loser as they battled the Avalanche at home. Moneyline bettors who got the Avalanche at +120 were rewarded, while the 5 combined goals moved the game UNDER for totals bettors. Toronto: Team record: 3-0-1 SU, ATS The total has gone UNDER in 5 of last 6 games at home The total has gone OVER in 5 of last 6 games when playing at home against Winnipeg The total has gone UNDER in 4 of last 5 games The total has gone OVER in 9 of last 12 games when playing Winnipeg When playing on Wednesday are 3-7 Before playing San Jose are 5-5-2 After playing Colorado are 4-6 After a loss are 5-5 Winnipeg: Team record: 1-3-0 SU, ATS The total has gone OVER in 5 of last 6 games when playing on the road against Toronto The total has gone UNDER in 6 of last 8 games on the road The total has gone OVER in 9 of last 12 games when playing Toronto The total has gone OVER in 4 of last 6 games When playing on Wednesday are 4-6 Before playing NY Rangers are 2-8 After playing Pittsburgh are 5-5 After a win are 1-9 Next up: Winnipeg at Ottawa, Thursday, October 20 Toronto at Boston, Thursday, October 20

A cross-conference tilt will pit two of the game?s highest profile quarterbacks against each other this Sunday, as the New England Patriots host the Dallas Cowboys as favorites on the NFL odds board.Fresh off a pair of wins, and with a 4-1 record, it's hard not to lean towards Tom Brady and the Pats over a Cowboys team struggling to keep Tony Romo on the field. Unless the bye week in Week 5 was enough to nurse the hobbled quarterback completely back to health, we may see some similar themes continue in Week 6. According to Bodog?s online sportsbook, the Cowboys have just 30/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl. Had it not been for the constant concern over the man under center, or Dallas' early sub-par record against less-than-impressive opponents, the mark might be slightly higher, but even when the Cowboys have won, it hasn't been convincing. In Dallas' two victories (over San Francisco and Washington), they held a combined five-point advantage (with a net point differential of -2 through Week 5), meanwhile, the Patriots have rattled off four touchdown-or-more victories in five contest for a point differential of 46. There's a reason they have 4/1 odds on the NFL futures board while Dallas struggles to stay relevant. If the Cowboys can somehow solve Brady while successfully keeping Romo in one piece, a victory could essentially redefine their season - especially in the unpredictable NFC East where even the Philadelphia Eagles are 1-4. A heated Big Ten rivalry has college football fans in Michigan on the edge of their seats as the Michigan State Spartans prepare to host the nearby Wolverines this Saturday. The two programs, each ranked in the Associated Press? Top 25, clash on the NCAA odds board with undefeated conference records. For MSU, the Week 7 battle will be the second in a string of four consecutive midseason tests against formidable Big Ten opponents. They narrowly escaped a run-in with Ohio State the last time out, and will play both Wisconsin and Nebraska in addition to the Wolverines before the month of October is done. Can the No. 23-ranked club save the momentum of their season that looked all but drained following a Week 3 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish? The Spartans may not be the favorites on the college football lines consistently over the course of the next few weeks, but a big victory over a state rival could significantly improve the situation. As always, a short hop on the I-96 over, the Wolverines will be looking for ways to spoil their opponents' efforts. With Denard Robinson at the height of his multi-threat display, it may simply be a matter of time. Can the Spartans not only beat the college football odds, but a quarterback with nearly just as many touchdowns on the ground (6) as he has in the air (8)? BET ON COLLEGE FOOTBALLWITH BODOG.
