Updated Odds to win 2015 NBA Championship, Conference Championships, and MVP Award

College Basketball Odds: Virginia Seeks Redemption Versus Louisville

Betting on UVA Football

The Virginia Cavaliers (20-1 SU, 13-6 ATS) have lost their undefeated
status after dropping a 69-63 decision to Duke (+5.5 away) last week.
But the Cavs are still in first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference
as we go to press, and this Saturday, they’ll try to fortify their
position when the Louisville Cardinals (19-3 SU, 8-12 ATS) visit the
John Paul Jones Arena. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN.

Bet on college basketball at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Only one game separates Virginia and Louisville in the ACC standings,
but as you can tell by their ATS records, the “true” gap between the two
teams is bigger than it may appear. Ken Pomeroy’s advanced stats have
the Cavaliers ranked No. 2 overall (No. 6 offense, No. 3 defense) in
Division I, while the Cardinals are ranked No. 10 (No. 46 offense, No. 6
defense).

The Cavs have already bounced back from that Duke loss with Monday’s
impressive 75-64 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels (+1 at home).
This is the same Tar Heels team that beat the Cards in January, and
nearly beat them again last week before falling 78-68 in overtime as a
5-point road underdog.

1Vice.ag Announces Winners of their Super Bowl XLIX Squares Contest

Betting on March Madness with NO Juice

San Jose, Costa Rica – This year, Super Bowl XLIX was an enigma to many sports handicappers and sportsbooks alike as there was no clear favorite.

However, the biggest enigma of the game was when Coach Carroll of the
Seahawks decided to throw a slant to reserve wide receiver Ricardo
Lockette at the 1/2 yard line which ended in an interception by Malcom
Butler of the Patriots costing them the game.

To add to the Super Bowl frenzy, 1Vice.ag, once again held a Super Bowl
Squares contest which has always been a favorite for football fans
around the world.

A Super Bowl squares contest is a 10×10 grid where player gets a square.
Once all of the squares are filled, each column and row is assigned a
number from 0 to 9.

Each square now represents a score during the game based on the column
and row number. A winner is determined at the end of the 1st quarter,
2nd quarter, 3rd quarter, and Final Game score.

The winner is determined by looking at the last number in each of the
teams’ score, and then matching those numbers on the grid and seeing
which square intersects those two numbers.

This year, 1Vice ended up giving away $12,000 in cash prizes and $1,200
in other prizes. Usually, 1Vice only holds one $8,000 Super Bowl Squares
contest but it was filled up so quickly that 1Vice decided to create
another Super Bowl Squares contest to keep up with the demand.

Winners of the $8,000 Super Bowl Squares contest:

• 1st Quarter Winner – Fausto G. for $1,000

• Half-Time Winner – Dan S. for $2,000

• 3rd Quarter Winner – Dan S. for $1,000

• Full Game Winner – Derek W. for $4,000

• $600 Amazing Club Half Time Drawing – Steve L.

Winners of the $4,000 Super Bowl Squares contest:

• 1st Quarter Winner – Scott M. for $500

• Half-Time Winner – Andrew C. for $1,000

• 3rd Quarter Winner – Andrew C for $500

• Full Game Winner – Kevin S. for $2,000

• $600 Amazing Club Half Time Drawing – Greg W.

“1Vice has earned the reputation for being a sportsbook that leads the
pack when it comes to fun promotions and contest” said Griffin the 1Vice
general manager. “This Super Bowl was no different with our Super Bowl
Squares and we have a lot more in store for all of our clients this
year.”

1Vice has just finalized they contest schedule for 2015 for events like
March Madness and most major sporting events. To find out more about the

NHL Odds: Wings Ahead of Avs in Standings, Behind in Bankroll

Betting on Red Wing Hockey

The Detroit Red Wings may be near the top of the NHL standings at
29-12-2-7, but they’re having a hard time beating the puck line at 24-26
ATS (minus-3.68 units). Compare and contrast to Detroit’s former
Western Conference rivals, the Colorado Avalanche. Although they’re
outside of the playoff picture right now at 21-18-7-4, the Avs are
making money hand-over-fist at 31-19 ATS (plus-9.19 units). Conveniently
enough, these two teams clash Thursday night in Denver at 9:00 PM ET on
NBCSN.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

Detroit is doing quite well at both ends of the ice, ranking seventh
overall in both goals for (2.94) and against (2.44) per game. However,
the Wings haven’t covered enough at –1.5. Colorado, on the other hand,
is 23rd in goals for (2.50) and 20th in goals against (2.74), and
getting paid handsomely at +1.5.

The timing might be right for the Avalanche to put one over on Detroit,
too. The Wings are without starting goalie Jimmy Howard (.920 save
percentage) because of a groin injury, leaving Petr Mrazek (.907 save
percentage) to do the heavy lifting. Mrazek is 7-2 since taking over
between the pipes, but four of those wins were by a single goal.

NBA Odds: Odds Released for Three-Point Shootout and Dunk Competitions

NBA All-Star game in Brooklyn

While sports fans and the NBA betting community debate about the
recently named All-Star Game rosters, Bovada has been releasing odds for
both the Slam Dunk and Three-Point Shootout contests, giving hoops
aficionados all new basketball odds to consider this month.

Bet on basketball at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

It’s one thing to bet on the NBA during the regular season, but it’s
something else entirely to predict the result of an artistic display
like the dunk competition. High-flying rookie Zach LaVine has the -110
advantage for good reason, but there’s no guarantee that his athleticism
will be enough to appease the panel.Dark horse candidate Victor Oladipo
is only +300 on the moneyline for the competition. But if his
competition portfolio is anything like his in-game portfolio, the rest
of the contestants better be careful.

The other candidates, Giannis Antetokounmpo (+225) and Mason Plumlee
(+700), will have to shed the preconceptions of big men struggling in
slam dunk contests. They’re both capable of making noise in NBA arenas,
but the creative environment of a competition is a different story.

If you’re looking for a more objective competition, check out the odds
for the Three-Point Shootout competition. Although Stephen Curry (+225)
is a popular favorite, it seems equally plausible that anybody in the
contest could walk away victorious.

Tennis Odds: Murray Looking To Rebound at Rotterdam

ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament

Andy Murray was hoping to come away with his first ever Australian
Open title. Instead, he lost to Novak Djokovic – again – in the final
Down Under and will now try to get back to his winning ways at
Rotterdam.

Bet on tennis at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Close, but no cigar. That’s been the story of Murray’s career at the
Australian Open. On February 1, he lost to Djokovic in the Aussie Open
final for the third time but overall, that was his fourth loss in the
final. For his career, he’s now 8-16 versus Djokovic.

Murray will try to regroup at Rotterdam at the 2015 ABN AMRO World
Tennis Tournament next week, an event he’s conquered once previously.
Back in 2009, he topped Rafael Nadal in the final to earn his 11th
career title. However, he lost in the quarter-final last year to Marin
Cilic. Cilic is back, as is defending champ Tomas Berdych in what should
be a fairly challenging field. Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic, Jo-Wilfried
Tsonga and Ernests Gulbis have also confirmed for the hard court
tournament in Netherlands and the action gets underway on February 9.
