It's been a rough week for the Toronto Blue Jays (77-60, –1.80 betting
units). They've lost four of their last six, including Monday's series
opener against the resurgent New York Yankees (71-65, +1.17 units). The
finale of this three-game set takes place Wednesday at Yankee Stadium,
starting at 7:05 PM ET on Sportsnet. Oddsmakers have the Jays as a 160
favorite on the moneyline while the total is sitting at 9 Over -125.

Marcus Stroman (3.72 FIP) will try to staunch the bleeding for Toronto.
He's been strong on the mound the past couple of months, providing seven
quality starts in his last 11 appearances, but the Jays are just 5-6
during this stretch. The good news: Current Yankees have a tiny .503 OPS
against Stroman in his brief career. The bad news: Wednesday will be
the first time he's faced New York's hot rookie catcher, Gary Sanchez
(1.182 OPS).

The Yankees will go with 25 year old right Brian Mitchell, who will be
making his MLB debut. Mitchell made six rehab starts, including two with
Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre. In two starts for the Yankees' top farm
club, he threw a total of nine innings and allowed two runs (one
earned) while striking out 14. He threw 91 pitches on Friday.
