Clemson Travels to Blacksburg to Face Virginia Tech

Clemson and VaTech in Rematch of ACC Championship Game

The 2nd-ranked Clemson Tigers and the 12th-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies meet Saturday at Lane Stadium. This ACC clash is a rematch of the 2016 ACC Championship Game. The Hokies lost to Clemson 42-35, but were only 23 yards away from tying the game. The game will be televised by ABC and kickoff is set for 8 pm. EST.

Oddsmakers have Clemson as a 7-point favorite. The total is at 48.5.

Clemson, the defending national champions, pay their first visit to Blacksburg since beating the Hokies 23-3 in 2011. That game signaled a shift in the hierarchy in the ACC. Virginia Tech, who was a winner of four ACC championships from 2004-10, was on its way down. Clemson was on its way up. They have won three ACC titles and the 2016 national championship since then.

VaTech Looks to Get Back in ACC Elite
