Two Faves Meet in NFC Championship Game

It has been a wild ride to the NFC Championship Game. The NFC playoffs has gone chalk with the No. 2 Minnesota Vikings traveling to Lincoln Financial Field this Sunday night. They will face the No. 1 Philadelphia Eagles.

Game time on FOX is set for 6:40 p.m. and Minnesota comes in as a 3-point road favorite at VietBet with the total set low at 39 points.

Vikings Advance to NFC Championship on Wild Last Play

The Vikings needed a last-second touchdown to get past New Orleans 29-24 in Sunday’s Divisional Round matchup as 5.5-point home favorites with VietBet. The total went OVER the closing 46.5-point line after staying UNDER in five of their previous seven games.

Eagles Needed Last Second Stand on D to Advance to NFC Championship

Philadelphia needed to shutdown Atlanta from inside its own two yard line with time running out to preserve a hard-fought 15-10 victory. The Eagles were an unheralded 2.5-point home underdog in its Divisional Round matchup.

This win raised the Eagles’ record to 11-6 ATS this season. They have a 6-3 mark ATS on their home field. They are 3-2 ATS when closing as underdogs and the total has stayed UNDER the VietBet closing line in six of their last eight contests.

The big question mark for Philadelphia heading into the postseason was Nick Foles at quarterback. He has taken over for an injured Carson Wentz. He answered most of his critics with 246 yards passing while completing an efficient 23 of his 30 passing attempts.

Foles also benefited from an Eagles’ run game that was ranked third in the NFL in yards gained. The Eagles relentless defense held the high-powered Falcons to 281 total yards.

This Sunday’s matchup sets up to be another grinder in Philadelphia with both team’s defense rising to the occasion. I would take the Eagles and the 3-points in a bet on a side. My ‘best bet’ pick in this one is the UNDER on the 39-point total line.
