NBA Playoffs Tuesday Free Pick- Milwaukee at Boston

NBA Playoffs 2018

Can Game 2 Live up to Intensity of Game 1 of NBA Playoffs Series

Game 2 of the opening round best-of-seven NBA Playoff clash between the No. 7 Milwaukee Bucks and the No. 2 Boston Celtics is set for Tuesday night. It is a 7:30 p.m. start on TNT from TD Garden.

BetAnySports opened the Celtics as three-point home favorites with the total set at 197.5 points. The line now is Boston as a 2-point favorite. The total has held steady.

The Bucks took Game 1 to overtime, but they came up short in a 113-107 loss as four-point underdogs on the road. They are an even 4-4 straight-up over their las eight road games with a 5-3 record against the spread. The total went OVER BetAnySports’ 200-point total line in Sunday’s loss and it has gone OVER in eight of their last nine games overall.

Bucks Are a Threat in 2018 NBA Playoffs

Both Giannis Antetokounmpo (35 points) and Khris Middleton (31 points) came up big for Milwaukee in Game 1. Malcolm Brogdon added 18 points off the bench as well. Some late-game heroics took this game into overtime before the Bucks were outscored 14-8.

They ended the game shooting 48.2 percent from the field. They connected on eight of their 21 shots from three-point range. None was bigger than Middleton’s three-point bucket to tie the game at the end of regulation.

The shot Killed EVERY Under wager, as the total was 200 with the Celtics up 98-95 with 0.5 seconds left.

Celtics Need to Keep Intensity in NBA Playoffs

Boston should be happy with the win in the series opener given its current injury situation. This game was a bit too close for comfort. The Celtics stumbled down the stretch of the regular season. They had a SU 2-4 record in their last six regular season games. They were an even 3-3 ATS during this same span.

The total has gone OVER BetAnySports’ closing line in seven for their last eight outings, including their last five games at home.

Kyrie Irving is done for the season and Marcus Smart is out for the foreseeable future. Two of Boston’s top scorers this season are on the shelf. In their place on Sunday, four of the Celtics’ five starters scored at least 19 points. They were led by veteran forward Al Horford’s 24 points in the winning effort.

Backup Marcus Morris added 21 more points off the bench. Boston shot 41.5 percent from the field. They connected on 42.3 percent of its 26 shots from three-point range.

Starting backcourt members Terry Rozier had 23 points and Jaylen Brown had 20 points. Wing Jayson Tatum added 19 points. The trio combined for 62 points for the Celtics.

Look for another close battle on Tuesday night. While I am not sure Milwaukee gets out of Boston with a SU win in the first two games, I do like its chances to cover the spread in Game 2.
