NBA Playoffs Tuesday Free Pick- Houston at Golden State Game 4

NBA Playoffs Western Conference Finals

Rockets Have to Play Well on Road in NBA Playoffs

The NBA Playoffs Western Conference Finals are well underway. The Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors resume their matchup in this season’s Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night. We can only hope Game 4 of this best-of-seven clash is as entertaining as the rest.

Tip off from ORACLE Arena on TNT is set for 9 p.m. VietBet opened the Warriors as 8.5-point home favorites with the total set at 223 points. The line has held steady, but the total has eased up to 224.

Houston salvaged a split at home in the first two games of this series with a solid 127-105 victory in Game 2. They were a slight two-point home favorite. Gaining a split on the road in the next two games could be a much taller task.

Sunday’s 126-85 loss as a 7.5-point road underdog showed the Rockets have to play perfect. The total stayed UNDER the VietBet closing 226-point line and it has stayed UNDER in two of the first three games in this conference finals showdown.

James Harden continues to lead the way in scoring with a team-high 20 points in Sunday’s 41-point loss. To say this team quit in that game would be an understatement. The Rockets trailed by 11 points at the half before phoning it in over the next two quarters.

They shot 39.5 percent from the field while converting on 32.4 percent of their 34 shots from three-point range.

Golden State Still Cream of Crop in the West

Many NBA experts thought the gap between Golden State and Houston had been dramatically narrowed this season. Sunday’s lopsided victory demonstrated that a pretty wide gap between the top two teams in the West may still exist. The Warriors opened this series with a statement in a 119-106 victory as 2.5-point road underdogs.

They are now 3-2 against the spread in their last five postseason games. They posted an even 4-4 record ATS in their first eight games of the playoffs. The total has stayed UNDER the VietBet closing line in seven of their last 10 contests.

If there were any lingering concerns with the health of Stephen Curry’s left knee, he should have put them to rest on Sunday. With a game-high 35 points, he proved he is healthy, while connecting on 13 of his 23 shots from the field. Golden State shot 52.2 percent in that game with all five starters scoring in double figures.

Houston will be in real trouble in this series with another loss on Tuesday night. This should be enough motivation to keep the final score closer than 8.5 points win or lose.
