The Atlanta Braves continue their four-game series with the Washington Nationals. The Braves beat the Nationals 3-1 in the second game of yesterday's doubleheader after losing the opener 8-3.

Foltynewicz throws six innings against the Mets

Mike Foltynewicz (8-7, 3.04 ERA, 1.18 WHIP) gave up two earned runs on five hits (one home run) and one walk with five strikeouts across six innings in a 4-2 win against the Mets last Thursday.

Foltynewicz had given up 18 earned runs over his last four starts, raising his ERA from 2.02 to 3.04 during that span, so he really needed the strong outing. The right-hander owns a solid 2.86 strikeout-to-walk ratio (K/BB) in 124 1/3 innings.
