2018 College Football Season is in Full Swing

The Arkansas State Red Wolves march into Tuscaloosa on Saturday in College Football action. They hope to pull off what would be the biggest upset for the entire 2018 football season. Maybe one of the biggest upsets in college football history.

This task is not going to be easy. If they think their victory over SE Missouri State meant anything, they had better reevaluate their thinking errors very quickly!

Arkansas State Red Wolves vs. Alabama Crimson Tide

Date: Saturday, September 8

Game Time: 3:30 ET

Venue: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL

Network: ESPN2

Odds: Alabama -36. The Total is 66.5.

The win over SE Missouri State was a big win. Big numbers were put up from quarterback Justice Hansen who poured in a 423 yard, six, count them, six-touchdown performance. That’s a big deal and confidence going into any game certainly goes a very long ways.

NCAA and NFL Football - Why use More than a few Handicappers

Never take your eye off the ball! The opponent was SE Missouri State! Having said that, the Red Wolves put up a huge offensive performance. They have highly talented receivers. They create an ability to spread the wealth for Hansen.

With an overall offensive performance that put together 685 total yards, these guys have confidence in themselves. Remember, they nearly pulled off the upset over Nebraska last season. BUT, Nebraska is not the current NCAA Division 1 College Football Champion.

They do not have Nick Saban as head coach and they are not the Crimson Tide!

Betting Football - What’s Easiest, NFL or College Football

Alabama is a different animal and don’t forget it. These guys are one of the college football powerhouse of the ages. Even of a generation. What Nick Saban has done over the course of 11 years is nothing less than a football miracle.

The man has lost 20 games! Alabama wins, and they win, and they keep on winning. They are a championship caliber team again this year. They showed who they are against Louisville in week one. The game was 51-14 beat-down. This is Louisville, yes, that Louisville!

The proud program that led the nation in offense just two short seasons ago. Louisville may not be the team of the recent past, but they are still Louisville. They always have talent to burn.

Alabama worked those guys. This is what the Crimson Tide do to teams. They embarrass their opponent and when Saban has the opportunity, he will run the score up.

Football Betting – NFL Week 1 Games to Watch

The Red Wolves are nothing special when it comes to their defensive front. Their linebacker corps leaves a bit to be desired. This kind of language spells disaster for any Alabama opponent.

With Tagovailoa and Hurts heading up the Alabama offense, this Red Wolves defense will be tested early. One quarterback that can fire it up like Dan Marino, and another that can mix it up like Joe Montana!

Hurts has some experience now and he can move the offense. He definitely will against a bad defense. But that’s not all! Alabama’s running game should have a field day with State’s run defense. It will get ugly!

Look for a minimum, easy 200 yards on the ground. Most likely, well north of the 300 mark.

Alabama’s defense is downright nasty. There are more than a few teams in the NFL that would struggle playing against it! Look for a huge win. A big blowout and look for the cover, easily.

This game could be 35-3 at halftime! Will they keep their foot on the gas the entire game? You can count on it from the defense.
