Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks suffered a tough 27-24 road loss against the Broncos last week. but What's more concerning for them is that their star wide receiver Doug Baldwin went down in the first quarter.

Baldwin apparently suffered a Grade 2 partial MCL tear. His return date remains unknown. His absence hurts the Seahawks, who were already lacking explosive playmakers.

Running back Chris Carson had just seven carries for 51 yards. Rookie tight end Will Dissly had three receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown. No Seahawks player caught more than four passes.

Russell Wilson completed just 19 of 33 passes for 298 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Chicago Bears

The Bears were cruising in the first half of Sunday's game against the Packers. Aaron Rodgers led the way in an epic 24-23 come-from-behind win. Rodgers had left the game with a leg injury in the second quarter.

Newly acquired linebacker Khalil Mack intercepted backup quarterback Deshone Kizer to score a 27-yard touchdown. He showed the Raiders what they're missing.

Rodgers returned in the third quarter and the Packers outscored the Bears 24-6 in the second half. Chicago played solid defense for most of the game but they couldn't prevent a 75-yard catch-and-run by Randall Cobb that made the difference.

The Bears should have beat the Packers but it was still an encouraging loss. Mitchell Trubisky completed 23 of 35 passes for 171 yards. and He added 32 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Jordan Howard rushed for 85 yards on 15 carries and their running backs averaged 5.1 yards per carry.

NFL Trends:

The Under is:

6-1 in Seattle's last seven games in Week 2

9-3 in Seattle's last 12 games against NFC opponents

5-2 in Seattle's last seven road games

5-2 in Seattle's last seven Monday games

5-2 in Seattle's last seven road games against a team with a losing home record

4-0 in Chicago's last four games after an ATS win

6-1 in Chicago's last 7 games overall

5-1 in Chicago's last six games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game

9-2 in Chicago's last 11 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game

4-1 in Chicago's last five games against a team with a losing record

4-1 in Chicago's last five Monday games

4-1 in Chicago's last five games following a straight up loss

4-1 in Chicago's last five games against NFC opponents

6-2 in in Chicago's last eight home games

The Seahawks forced three turnovers against the Broncos in Week 1. The Bears looked like one of the best defensive teams in the NFL for one half against the Packers.

Khalil Mack and Roquan Smith were eased into action last week but they should see more snaps tonight, so I'll lean towards the Under here.
