NBA Playoffs - Rockets at Jazz Game 4

NBA Playoffs Western Conference Finals

Rockets Going for the Sweep of the Jazz

The Houston Rockets are eying a four-game sweep in Monday night’s Game 4 matchup against the Utah Jazz in Utah. Game time on TNT is set for 10:30 p.m. with BetAnySports having the Rockets as 2.5-point favorites with the total set at 214.5 points.

The Rockets increased their series lead to 3-0 both straight-up and against the spread at BetAnySports with Saturday’s 104-101 victory on the road as slight two-point underdogs. This followed a pair of lopsided wins at home by a combined 52 points. The total has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH in all three contests. Houston is 9-1 both SU and ATS in its last 10 games, including a 3-1 record (SU and ATS) in its last four road games.

James Harden
was as cold as it gets to start Saturday’s Game 3 by missing his first 15
shots. He got things going in the second half to end the game with 22 points.
After leading the NBA in scoring in the regular season with an average of 36.1
points per game, he posted 29 points in the series opener and 32 points in
Houston’s 118-98 victory in Game 2 closing as a 6.5-point home favorite.

The regular season series between these two Western Conference foes was tied 2-2 SU with Utah holding the slight 2-1-1 edge ATS. The Jazz came into this series with a SU 8-2 mark over their previous 10 games while going 6-4 ATS. They are 5-4 ATS in their last nine games played at home. The total has stayed UNDER BetAnySports’ closing line in six of those nine home games.

With a scoring
average of 111.7 points a game, Utah was ranked 17th in the NBA . It
improved to fourth on defense when it came to points allowed (106.5). Donovan
Mitchell was the team’s leading scorer in the regular season with 23.8 PPG and
he has averaged 23.3 points in seven previous games against Houston this
season. He ended Saturday’s loss with a game-high 34 points while shooting just
33.3 percent from the field and from three-point range.

Utah was one of the better teams in the West this season on its home court at 29-12. I am betting that the Jazz finds a way to avoid the sweep with the SU win on Monday night.
