ACC Football: Louisville is favored by 35 over Duke - Handicappers Hideaway

University of Louisville Football

Louisville Looks to Bounce Back After Clemson Loss

The Duke Blue Devils and the Louisville Cardinals will be in a key
ACC Football matchup when they meet at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
Louisville has been off after it’s crushing loss at the hands of
Clemson.  This is the Cardinals first home game in a month when they
lambasted Florida State 63-20.

Oddsmakers currently have the Cardinals listed as 35-point favorites versus the Blue Devils, while the game’s total is sitting at 71.

Last time out for Louisville, they were a 42-36 loser as they battled
the Clemson Tigers on the road in ACC Football action. Louisville
failed to cover in the match as a -1-point favorite, while 78 combined
points moved the game OVER for totals bettors.

Duke is no slouch on the ACC Football grid-iron. They beat Notre Dame
earlier this year and are fresh off a win over the much improved Army
Black Knights. They eeked out a 13-6 win with an injury riddled team.
Duke was a 5.5-point favorite and the under was 43. Both wagers won for
Blue Devil bettors last weekend.

Stats and Matchups

Duke:

Team record: 3-3 SU,3-3 ATS

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Duke’s last 6 games

Duke is 9-3 ATS in its last 12 games on the road

Duke is 8-4 SU in its last 12 games on the road

Louisville:

Team record: 4-1 SU,4-1 ATS

Louisville is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games

Louisville is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games

The total has gone OVER in 5 of Louisville’s last 5 games

Louisville vs. Clemson: Sharps and Public On The Same Side - Handicappers Hideaway

Betting on Clemson Tigers Football

#3 Louisville @ #5 Clemson

Saturday Night!

Only a few hours away from what is trending towards the biggest bet
college football game of the season as No. 3 Louisville visits No. 5
Clemson. Early shoppers at BetOnline.ag
got a bargain as the Ville opened 3.5-point dogs. Thanks to 76% of the
early bets (including some sharp) backing Louisville, Clemson is now a
two-point dog.*

The game will sure to have a big impact on the Heisman odds
as well. Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is the current -250
favorite to win college football’s most prestigious individual award.
Last year’s runner-up – Clemson’s Deshaun Watson – is currently +1000.*

Speaking of Heisman candidates, Christian McCaffrey (+1000) and No. 7
Stanford head north to take on No. 10 Washington. Last week the BetOnline.ag
public profited big-time off of Stanford’s late cover versus UCLA. The
public was counting on another Stanford cover; only 30% of the  bets
were on Washington (-3). The Huskies pounded the Cardinal 44-6.

Yet another Top-10 match-up goes down Saturday afternoon as No. 8
Wisconsin visits No. 4 Michigan. With an average margin victory of 38.25
points, Michigan is a lofty 10-point favorite. The public is expecting a
close game as 74% of the tickets at BetOnline.ag are on Wisconsin.*

Our state-of-the-art Live Betting software
will be churning out the in-game odds for each of these three games.
While most other US-facing books only keep their Live odds open during
timeouts, ours stay open while the game is actually in play. If you are a

Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will be host to a nationally televised game
on ABC between the 2nd ranked Florida State Seminoles and the 10th
ranked Louisville Cardinals. ABC will beam the game across the nation
starting at 12 noon EST.

This game appears to be a high scoring affair on paper as we have two
explosive high-octane teams. We all know the fun and gun that Bobby
Petrino runs at Louisville. Cardinals' quarterback Lamar Jackson 's
strong early-season play has catapulted him into a legitimate Heisman
Trophy candidate. Jackson totaled 610 yards (411 passing, 199 rushing)
in last week's trouncing of Syracuse.

Florida State has been hit with some early season injuiries. They lost
standout sophomore safety Derwin James for at least five weeks and
possibly as many as 10 after he underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair a
torn meniscus in his left knee. The Noles' may also be without starting
defensive end Josh Sweat due to a left knee injury suffered in practice
on Thursday.

Sweat, a sophomore, didn't fly with the team to Louisville on Thursday
night, according to published reports. It remains possible he could
travel at some point on Friday if he is ruled fit to play.

Oddsmakers currently have the Seminoles listed as 3-point favorites versus the Cardinals, while the game's total is sitting at 69.

Louisville was a 62-28 winner in their most recent outing on the road
against Orange. They covered the -17-point spread as favorites, while
the total score (90) made winners of OVER bettors.

Florida State:

Team record: 2-0 SU,1-1 ATS

Florida State is 21-4 SU in its last 25 games

Florida State is 18-3 SU in its last 21 games on the road

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Florida State's last 5 games on the road

Louisville:

Team record: 2-0 SU,2-0 ATS

Louisville is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games

Louisville is 8-1 SU in its last 9 games

College Basketball Odds: Virginia Seeks Redemption Versus Louisville

Betting on UVA Football

The Virginia Cavaliers (20-1 SU, 13-6 ATS) have lost their undefeated
status after dropping a 69-63 decision to Duke (+5.5 away) last week.
But the Cavs are still in first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference
as we go to press, and this Saturday, they’ll try to fortify their
position when the Louisville Cardinals (19-3 SU, 8-12 ATS) visit the
John Paul Jones Arena. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN.

Bet on college basketball at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Only one game separates Virginia and Louisville in the ACC standings,
but as you can tell by their ATS records, the “true” gap between the two
teams is bigger than it may appear. Ken Pomeroy’s advanced stats have
the Cavaliers ranked No. 2 overall (No. 6 offense, No. 3 defense) in
Division I, while the Cardinals are ranked No. 10 (No. 46 offense, No. 6
defense).

The Cavs have already bounced back from that Duke loss with Monday’s
impressive 75-64 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels (+1 at home).
This is the same Tar Heels team that beat the Cards in January, and
nearly beat them again last week before falling 78-68 in overtime as a
5-point road underdog.
