The Texas Rangers bring a hot hand into Camden Yards this week after winning seven of their last nine games. BetAnySports
has listed them as -121 road favorites for Tuesday night’s series
opener against the Baltimore Orioles, who have dropped five of their
last six games. The money line betting odds on Baltimore are set at an
even 100 for Game 1 with the total set at nine.

The Rangers’ recent run has extended their lead over Houston in the AL
West to six games. They are 62-44 overall, which is the best record in
the American League. Texas heads on the road for its next eight games
with an overall record of 28-27 in 55 previous road games this year. The
total stayed UNDER in three four games this past weekend against Kansas
City in a series that the Rangers swept the Royals by a combined score
of 18-9.

They will try and extend their winning streak to five games with Yu
Darvish as their starter. The right-hander is coming off solid outing
against Oakland in which he gave up two earned runs on four hits over
six innings of work. The Rangers have lost their last four games with
Darvish on the mound, but that was primarily due to a lack of run
support with just seven total runs over those four contests.

Baltimore’s lead in the AL East has shrunk to just a half a game over
Toronto following this past weekend’s 2-1 series loss to the rival Blue
Jays. The Orioles have now lost five of their last six games to fall to
59-45 on the year. They have still been tough to beat at Camden Yards
this season with a record of 37-16 and the total has stayed UNDER
BetAnySports’ closing total line in 17 of their last 19 games overall.

The Orioles will turn to Dylan Bundy as their starter for Tuesday night.
Pitching mainly out of the bullpen this season, the right-hander will
be making just his fourth start of the year. His last time out against
Colorado he got tagged for the loss after giving up two home runs in the
sixth inning. Prior to that, he shutout Cleveland for five innings to
pick up the win. Bundy’s overall ERA on the year stands at 3.46 with a
1.42 WHIP.

This should actually end up being a pretty close game with a good
matchup on the mound. Texas definitely in better form coming in, but I
am going with the UNDER on BetAnySports’ total line of nine as my “best bet” pick in this one.

Even when the Mariners have lost 9 games of the last 12 they are
favorite on todays game against Tampa Bay Rays, even after Wednesday's
13-inning loss, with the winning run coming on a bases-loaded walk after
a long night for the Seattle bullpen. It ultimately gave up the winning
run for Seattle, but it also kept them in the game for two hours, after
starter Nathan Karns left after five innings, the next four pitchers
combined for seven innings of scoreless, three-hit relief.

On the bright side for the Mariners with Paxton, a 27-year-old lefty who
has been outstanding his last two starts in place of Hernandez. After a
rocky 2016 debut, he's allowed just one earned run and 11 hits with
three walks and 17 strikeouts over 12 1/3 innings in his last two
outings.

The four-game series opens Thursday night with Nationals Tanner Roark is
coming off one of his best starts of the season. He tossed seven
shutout innings against the Phillies on Saturday, striking out seven
batters and walking just one. Roark has a 2.93 ERA and a career-high
8.10 K/9 rate.

Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper has played in just six games at Petco
Park, but he's made the most of his time there with a .476/.607/1.000
slash line and three home runs. His slugging percentage at Petco is the
highest of any ballpark where he's had at least 15 plate appearances.

Colby Lewis is 5-0 with a 3.00 ERA. He's made six starts on the road and
is 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA, the lowest road ERA in the American League. The
36-year-old went a season-high eight innings in his last start against
the Mariners, allowing one run. He carries a 13-game unbeaten streak
into today's matchup against the A's.

The 3 teams have -1 1/2 at Wager506.com with a 5 cent line till now. Today they will give a guaranteed bet on the first bet.

Holland will try to get back on track tonight as the Rangers begin a
three-game road series with the Oakland Athletics against another
struggling left-hander. He had a promising April after missing most of
the previous two seasons due to injury, but May has been the opposite.

Holland (3-2, 6.09 ERA) went 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA in his first five
starts and completed at least five innings in each. Over his last two,
he's 0-1 with 16 runs allowed in just five total innings. He gave up
five runs (four earned) and eight hits in 2 1/3 innings of
Tuesday's13-11 home win over the Chicago White Sox.

He hasn't faced the A's since 2014 but has struggled in his last four
starts in the series, going 0-2 with a 5.94 ERA and making it through at
least five innings just once.

Manaea was knocked around in Boston for eight runs on 10 hits in 2 2/3 innings in just his third career big league start.

Manaea's ability to rebound will be especially significant. The A's are
eyeing rotation changes in the coming week, with right-handers Henderson
Alvarez and Jesse Hahn expected to return, and Manaea is a likely
candidate to be sent down to continue his work in the Minors.

Danny Valencia homered three times in the series finale two days after
hitting his first two home runs of the year. The third baseman is
batting .405 on a 10-game hitting streak.

The A's edged out the Rangers, 10-9 in last year's season series.

The first 5 inning bets stand at -½ +120 on the A's and u4½ -105. Also on the game the A's -1½ +170 and o8½ +100 at Wager506.com Today Wager506.com
will guarantee the bets on this game for new accounts, meaning if you

MLB Odds: Rangers are on the Rampage in Oakland - Handicappers Hideaway

Betting on Texas Rangers Bseball

MLB Odds: Rangers are on the Rampage in Oakland

The Texas Rangers have been defying the baseball odds all season
long. At press time, they’re the most profitable team in the majors at
80-69 and 26.95 betting units in the black. The Rangers are also on top
of the AL West, and they can help their playoff cause with a win
Wednesday night (10:05 PM ET) against the last-place Oakland Athletics.

Bet on baseball at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

Colby Lewis (4.18 FIP) is scheduled to start for Texas. Lewis hasn’t
been the same pitcher since undergoing elbow surgery in 2012, but he’s
up 6.06 units this year on a team record of 16-14. The last time Lewis
faced the A’s was September 11, when he twirled a complete-game
two-hitter in a 4-0 Texas victory, cashing in as a –133 home chalk on
the closing line.

The A’s will be going with Felix Doubront (4.09 FIP), who’s enjoyed a
surprisingly good run in Oakland after the Toronto Blue Jays designated
him for assignment in late July. Doubront has made six starts, and
Oakland is 5-1 for a profit of 7.04 units. However, only two of those
appearances were quality starts. Current Rangers have a combined 1.012
OPS versus Dubront; Adrian Beltre is 7-for-11 with two home runs.

MLB Odds: Price Leads Blue Jays into Texas - Handicappers Hideaway

Baseball Betting – American League Futures

MLB Odds: Price Leads Blue Jays into Texas

MLB Odds: Price Leads Blue Jays into Texas

The rise of the Toronto Blue Jays has arguably been the biggest story
in the majors since the All-Star break. Their acquisition of David
Price from Detroit is a huge part of their ascent, and he’ll get the
ball on Wednesday when the Blue Jays wrap up a three-game set in Texas.

Bet on baseball at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

Price has been lights out for the Jays, going 3-0 in four starts with
a 1.78 ERA since coming to Toronto. Overall in 2015, he has improved
his game on the road. Between Detroit and Toronto, the 2012 Cy Young
winner is 8-2 in 13 away starts with a 1.96 ERA.

The Rangers, who are battling to hold on to the second AL wild card
spot, with Toronto in firm control of the first, counters with Colby
Lewis. He’s quietly putting together a solid season with a 14-5 record
despite a 4.29 ERA. There are only two pitchers in the AL that get
better run support than Lewis (6.04 RS), and they’re both from Toronto:
Drew Hutchinson (6.71 RS) and Mark Buerhle (6.29 RS). Still, Lewis has
allowed just one earned run in his last two starts.

BetAnySports’ MLB Pick of the Week: Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers- Tuesday, June 24

Betting on Texas Rangers Baseball

Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers- Tuesday, June 24

In a battle between two teams heading in opposite directions, the
Detroit Tigers will put their current four-game winning streak on the
line this Tuesday night against the struggling Texas Rangers at Globe
Life Park in Arlington. This series opener is set to get underway at
8:05 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on the MLB Network.

Detroit has had its own share of struggles over the past few weeks
but it has appeared to have righted the ship with a three-game sweep of
Cleveland this past weekend following a 2-1 victory over Kansas City
last Thursday as a 156 home favorite on BetAnySports’
closing MLB moneyline. This helped to erase the memory of a 3-7 slide
in its previous 10 games. It is now 40-32 on the year with a solid 21-13
record on the road. The total has gone OVER in the Tigers’ last three
outings after pounding out a total of 21 runs against the Indians.

This burst of power at the plate has the Tigers ranked sixth in the
American League in scoring with an average of 4.56 runs per game.
Overall pitching continues to be an issue with a team ERA of 4.12. Drew
Smyly is scheduled to get the start for Detroit in Tuesday night’s
series opener. The left-hander has looked sharp in the month of June
with a 1.89 ERA and a OPS of .624 in his last three starts.

The Rangers’ losing streak reached five games after getting swept by
the Los Angeles Angels in three games this past weekend. This came on
the heels of a 2-1 series loss to Oakland that has them trailing the
Athletics in the AL West by 11.5 games with an overall record of 35-40.
Texas is 16-19 at home this season and the total has gone OVER in seven
of their last nine home games.

Texas matches-up well against the Tigers in scoring with an average
of 4.24 runs per game but its pitching staff has been even shakier this
season with a staff ERA of 4.51, which is ranked last in the AL. The
Rangers will turn to Colby Lewis as their starter for Tuesday night. It
has been rough go of it for the right-hander in his last six starts
after allowing five earned runs in four of those outings. Overall, he is
5-4 this season with a 5.97 ERA through 12 previous starts.

BetAnySports
has opened Detroit as a slight -107 road favorite for this contest and
despite the fact that it is just 1-5 in its last six road games against
the Rangers, I am sticking with the hot hand in this one with a play on
the Tigers.

AL Wild Card One-Game Tiebreaker: Tampa Bay Rays vs. Texas Rangers Preview

The Rays visit the Rangers in Game 163, a must-win scenario for both teams if they wish to advance to a second must-win situation. The Rays and the Rangers tied for the second American League Wild Card spot and will break the tie for the right to meet the Indians in Wednesday's Wild Card game. The Rangers have won seven straight games and the Rays have won eight of their last 10 contests.

David Price will start against rookie Martin Perez and the Rangers announced that outfielder Nelson Cruz will be activated for this game. Cruz's 50-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs ended yesterday and he has fared well against Price, going 6-for-12 with two home runs against him.

The Rangers earned the right to host this game because they won the regular season series 4-3. The teams split a four-game series in mid-September.

According to the oddsmakers at America's Bookie, the Rays are at -117, the Rangers are at +107 and the total is set at 7½. Here you can check the daily MLB Baseball Betting Lines at America's Bookie.

Pitching Matchup:

David Price (9-8, 3.39 ERA) vs. Martin Perez (10-5, 3.55 ERA)

David Price didn't face the Rangers this season but he has traditionally struggled against them, going 1-4 with a 5.98 ERA in eight career outings. After outstanding performances in July and August, Price was 1-2 with a 3.78 ERA in five September starts. The left-hander has pitched at least seven innings in four of his last six starts. Alex Rios is batting .435 with two home runs and seven RBIs in 23 career at-bats against Price.

Martin Perez won seven of his last nine decisions as one of the Rangers' most reliable starters over the second half of the season. Perez didn't face the Rays this season and in his lone career outing against them last season he threw five innings and gave up two runs and seven hits. The left-hander has allowed three or fewer runs in nine of his last 11 starts.

Texas Rangers (83-70) vs. Kansas City Royals (81-72) Preview

The Rangers visit the Royals in the second contest of a three-game series. The Royals' 2-1 win in the opener put them 2½ games behind the Indians for the second Wild Card, while the Rangers slipped one-half game off the pace. The Rangers have now lost 12 of their last 15 games while the Royals have won eight of their last 12.

The Royals have won 81 games to assure a string of nine consecutive losing seasons will end. Closer Greg Holland is one of reason why the Royals will have a winning season. Holland converted his 44th save in the series opener to move one shy of the franchise record shared by Dan Quisenberry (1983) and Jeff Montgomery (1993).

According to the oddsmakers at BetAnySports, the Rangers are at -108, the Royals are at -102 and the total is set at 7½.

Pitching Matchup:

Matt Garza (3-5, 4.94 ERA) vs. Jeremy Guthrie (14-11, 4.08 ERA)

Matt Garza is 0-4 over his last five starts and hasn't been the type of pitcher the Rangers hoped when they acquired him from the Cubs. Garza has allowed four or more earned runs in seven of his last nine outings and gave up six runs and eight hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Rays in his last start. The right-hander is 0-3 with an 8.22 ERA in three September starts. Billy Butler is 8-for-20 against him.

Jeremy Guthrie lost to the Tigers in his last outing, when he gave up three runs and a season high-tying 13 hits in eight innings. It was his fourth loss in sixth decisions since tossing a four-hit shutout against the Twins on Auguts 5. Guthrie, who is 9-4 at home, has allowed just nine home runs in 15 starts at Kauffman Stadium but 19 in 16 road outings. Elvis Andrus is batting .471 in 17 at-bats against him while A.J. Pierzynski is hitting .361 in 36 at-bats.

Texas Rangers (83-69) vs. Kansas City Royals (80-72) Preview

The Rangers begin a critical three-game series against the Royals. After losing seven straight games to fall into an intense Wild Card race, the Rangers took two of the final three games in Tampa Bay, capped by an 8-2 rout last night that featured four home runs. The win allowed them to tie the Rays atop the Wild Card standings, with the Indians sitting a half-game behind them.

Should any of those teams slip, the Royals are waiting to surpass them. The Royals are coming off a series win over the Indians and sit three games behind the Rangers and Rays as they open their final home series. Billy Butler is 20-for-42 (.476) in his last 11 home games. The Rangers won two of three against the Royals at home earlier this year.

According to the oddsmakers at America's Bookie, the Rangers are at +125, the Royals are -135 and the total is set at 7½. Here you can check the daily MLB Baseball Betting Lines at America's Bookie.

Pitching Matchup:

Martin Perez (9-5, 3.64 ERA) vs. Ervin Santana (9-9, 3.23 ERA)

Martin Perez has lost his last two starts while giving up seven runs and 16 hits in 11 1/3 innings. The left-hander is 7-2 on the road despite having a 4.04 ERA that is nearly a run higher than it is at home (3.07). Perez has never faced the Royals.

Ervin Santana limited the Tigers to just five hits in 6 2/3 scoreless innings Saturday, picking up his first win since August 4 and matching his career high for quality starts with his 22nd. Santana has a chance to reach 10 wins for the sixth time in his career and needs just 2 1/3 innings to amass 200 in a season for the fifth time. The right-hander has a 5.79 ERA in 28 career starts against the Rangers but held them to one unearned run in seven innings on June 2 in his only meeting with them this season. Ian Kinsler is 19-for-54 (.352) with eight extra-base hits in his career against Santana.
