Shocking PGA Championship Betting Trends - Handicappers Hideaway

Betting on the PGA Championship at BetOnline

Shocking PGA Championship Betting Trends

Considering
Jordan Spieth already won The Masters and US Open, in addition to a
fourth place finish at The Open Championship, it’s not surprising that
he is the +600 favorite to win this weekend’s final Major of the year – The PGA Championship.*
What is surprising is that Spieth is not even close to our biggest
exposure this weekend. That honor goes to yup, you guessed it – Tiger
Woods. Despite having last won a Major in 2008, our exposure on Tiger
(+4000) is more than five times greater than our second biggest exposure
– Danny Lee (+8000).* Who are you backing?

Current World Number One golfer Rory McIlory is back from injury and
is +1000 to defend his PGA Championship crown. McIlroy is +130 vs.
Spieth (-150) under the tournament match-up odds. Nice to see Tiger (+135) and Phil Mickelson (-155) matched-up like the old days.*

And remember, if you are in need of a reload during the weekend, our early bird 50% Kickoff Bonus is live. Use promo code KICKOFF15
on qualifying deposits of $50 or more and we’ll add on an extra 50% on
top of your sports betting bankroll with seconds.** Spread the word!

Thanks in advance for your action!

Baseball Sportsbook Lines: Phillies vs. Diamondbacks Picks and Odds

Betting on MLB Games

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Friday through Sunday!

After years as a perennial playoff contender in the National League
the Philadelphia Phillies crashed and burned last year with some of the
biggest losses on the betting board with far too much public betting
support based on their past success. The Arizona Diamondbacks were also
in the red last year and were an utter disaster on the run line as one
of the worst bets on the board, though the Phillies were even worse on
the run line as only the San Francisco Giants lost more money in that
wagering sector. The Phillies are trying to jumpstart their franchise
with new manager Ryne Sandberg while the D Backs have a great leader in
Kirk Gibson, who gets everything and more out of whatever he has. The
Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Philadelphia Phillies at Chase Field
in a 3 game weekend series that will run Friday through Sunday. Friday
night’s game is scheduled for a 9:40 PM ET with Saturday’s game set for
an 8:10 PM ET start. Sunday afternoon has a starting time of 4:10 PM ET.

D Backs Lack Green Backs

It was a horrible start for the Arizona Diamondbacks as they ranked
dead last in Major League Baseball for earned run average and 23rd for
run production as they lost 15 out of their first 20 games with the MLB odds.
It was not much better for the Philadelphia Phillies as they lost 10
out of their first 17 games and ranked 24th for run production while
ranking 26th for earned run average. Both Arizona and Philadelphia were
last place teams.

The Pick!

Heading into this series the Philadelphia Phillies have won 12 out of
their last 20 games against the Arizona Diamondbacks with just 9 out of
the last 20 games between the Phillies and Diamondbacks going over the
total. The Phillies and Diamondbacks have split their last 20 games at
Chase Field with just 9 out of the last 20 meetings between the
Diamondbacks and Phillies at Arizona going over the total. We’ll call
for the underdog in each game of this series and under the total for
each game.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, Monday, April 21st

The Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Dodgers will both be
gunning for a victory on Monday when they meet at Dodger Stadium.

Lefthander Cliff Lee will take the mound for the Phillies to start this game. Lee is 2-2 this season with a 4.00 ERA.

Starting this game for the Dodgers will be Paul Maholm. The lefthander has a 5.23 ERA to go along with a 0-1 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Dodgers listed as 120-moneyline
favorites versus the Phillies, while the game’s total is sitting at 7.

Last time out for Philadelphia, they were a 10-9 winner as they
battled the Rockies on the road. Moneyline bettors who got the Phillies
at +144 were rewarded, while the 19 combined runs moved the game OVER
for totals bettors.

In their last action, Los Angeles was a 4-1 winner at home against
the Diamondbacks. Bettors on Los Angeles at -139 on the moneyline
collected their winnings from that game, while the total score (5) sent
UNDER bettors home happy as well.

Current streak:

Los Angeles has won 2 straight games.

Team records:

Philadelphia: 8-10 SU

Los Angeles: 12-7 SU

Philadelphia most recently:

When playing on Monday are 4-6

Before playing LA Dodgers are 5-5

After a win are 3-7

Los Angeles most recently:

When playing on Monday are 6-4

Before playing Philadelphia are 6-4

After playing Arizona are 6-4

After a win are 5-5

A few trends to consider:

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Philadelphia’s last 5 games when playing on the road against LA Dodgers

The total has gone OVER in 9 of Philadelphia’s last 13 games

NBA Odds: Dysfunctional Knicks Still Alive, Face Test Down the Stretch

Betting on New York Knicks Basketball

The New York Knicks are on the outside looking in at the Eastern
Conference playoff picture but still have time to get their foot in the
door as the regular season comes to a close. With just 150/1 odds of
winning, they’re far from a reassuring NBA betting choice, but there’s
no reason to believe that they can’t edge out the short-staffed Atlanta
Hawks for the eighth and final seed.

Bet on the NBA at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Led by the same disjointed roster that’s led them over the course of
the past few seasons, this year’s Knicks will hope for a miracle in the
event that they manage to sneak into the postseason. That, however, is
no knock on Carmelo Anthony.

Averaging 27.5 points per game, Melo has re-established himself as a
franchise player that fans (and bettors) can rely on. It’s that
surrounding cast that causes concern.

JR Smith trails Anthony for the team lead in scoring, but his is an
inconsistent presence that basketball fans would be wise to be nervous
about down the stretch. Smith’s unpredictability, coupled with Amar’e
Stoudemire’s injury history and Andrea Bargnani’s own shortcomings make
for an interesting club.

On the bright side, though, the Knicks have gotten some of the most
production they’ve had out of Stoudemire since Anthony arrived in New
York, and first-year wing Tim Hardaway Jr has fit in well with the Big
Apple culture.

This Friday the Knicks will put themselves on the line as they take
on their division rival Toronto Raptors. The Raps have already clinched
their postseason berth and should serve as a valuable gauging tool for
those interested in seeing how New York stacks up.

NCAA Basketball Odds – Favored Florida faces tough challenge in Final Four

Betting Florida Basketball

In two short weeks, the NCAA Tournament field has been
reduced from 68 to four. Brackets have been busted, expectations defied
and college basketball betting fans who thought they knew how it would
all unfold are left scrambling to forecast what comes next. Madness,
isn’t it?

Leading the foursome of remaining contenders are the
top-ranked Florida Gators, a No. 1 seed with lofty goals from the onset.
With 10/11 odds of winning the NCAA Tournament, the Billy Donovan-led
crew can add their third national championship in a decade.

With 30 consecutive wins under their belt heading into the
regional final (the first since Duke to do so in 1999), it’s no wonder
oddsmakers are having a tough time looking anywhere but Florida in the
sportsbook.

Still, that doesn’t mean the others can’t deal some damage of their own.
Kentucky, fresh off of an upset of 2013 runner-up Michigan
in the regional semifinals, boasts 5/2 odds heading into the penultimate
round. Julius Randle is a 15.0 PPG/10.5 RPG future pro, but will the
likely lottery pick be enough to get the Wildcats through a particularly
motivated Wisconsin (13/4) team fresh off a win over top-seeded
Arizona?

Connecticut (7/1), no stranger to tangoing with top
competition, will look to set out and add yet another upset to their
portfolio. Skeptics may have reservations whether Shabazz Napier (18.1
PPG, 5.9 RPG, 4.9 APG) and company can get through a team like the
Gators, but then again they said the same thing about Michigan State.
And Iowa State. And Villanova.
