The running of the 141st Preakness Stakes is set for Saturday, May 21 at
Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. The spotlight will be on Kentucky
Derby winner Nyquist, as he goes for the second jewel of the Triple
Crown of Horse Racing.

Bet on horse racing at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Nyquist is undefeated, with seven graded stakes wins since breaking his
maiden last June. He will likely be challenged by Exaggerator, who has
yet to beat Nyquist in four head-to-head starts, including the San
Vicente Stakes and the Kentucky Derby, both of which he placed second.
He is 9/2 to win the Preakness as we go to press.

However, all eyes will definitely be on Nyquist, who's the 5/8 favorite
to win the Preakness, and there are already prop bets that will allow
you to wager on him winning the Triple Crown (yes is 2/1). This would be
great for horse racing because it would produce back-to-back Triple
Crown wins, following American Pharoah's 2015 success. The last Triple
Crown win before American Pharoah came in 1978, which was the second of
back-to-back wins after Seattle Slew won it in 1977.

The Preakness is the shortest of the Triple Crown races at 9.5 furlongs.
It's set to go off at Pimlico at 6:18 PM ET with NBC providing the
coverage.

NHL Odds: Young Goalies for Lightning, Penguins - Handicappers Hideaway

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Pittsburgh Penguins are both relying on
young goaltenders to get them to the Stanley Cup Final. In the case of
the Lightning, it could come back to haunt them. Andrei Vasilevskiy
(.910 save percentage during the regular season) gave up the winning
goal 40 seconds into overtime Monday night, as the Penguins (–225 at
home) prevailed to even their series at 1-1 heading into Wednesday's
Game 3 at the Amalie Arena. Game time is 8 PM ET on CBC and NBCSN.
Oddsmakers have the Penquins as -130 moneylline favorites while the
total is at 5.

Bet on hockey at Bovada and get a free 100% bonus.

The 21-year-old Vasilevskiy actually played quite well in Game 2, making
38 saves in his first start of the playoffs. But the sophomore back-up
has a tall task replacing Ben Bishop (.926 SV%), who left Game 1 of this
series with a leg injury that appeared quite serious at the time.
Bishop might be able to return later in this series; however, his
availability for Game 3 is in serious doubt.

The Penguins, meanwhile, have enjoyed tremendous success behind
20-year-old Matt Murray (.930 SV%). He stepped in earlier this year for
injured veteran Marc-Andre Fleury (.921 SV%) and played so brilliantly,
he's the new No. 1 goalie in Pittsburgh.

The Washington Nationals and the New York Mets meet at Citi Field on
Tuesday night in another matchup of the two best teams in the National
League East and possibly the entire National League.

The Nationals will give the ball to starter Max Scherzer in this one. Right hander Scherzer is 4-2 this season with a 4.15 ERA.

Scherzer's opponent in this one will be Noah Syndergaard. The Mets right
hander has a 2.52 ERA to go along with a 3-2 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Nationals listed as 115-moneyline favorites versus the Mets, while the game's total is sitting at 6½.

In their last action, New York was a 4-3 loser on the road against the
Rockies. Bettors on Colorado at 109 on the moneyline collected their
winnings from that game, while the total score (7) sent UNDER bettors
home happy as well.

The Nationals were a 5-1 loser in their most recent outing on the road
against the Marlins. That made winners of bettors who got Miami at -120
on the moneyline, while the total score (6) was good news for UNDER
bettors.

Washington:

Team record: 23-15 SU

Washington is 1-5 SU in its last 6 games on the road

The total has gone OVER in 4 of Washington's last 6 games on the road

NBA Playoffs Tuesday Preview & Free Pick- Toronto at Cleveland Game 1 - Handicappers Hideaway

The top two teams in the East kick-off a best-of-seven series in the
conference finals this Tuesday night. The No. 2 Toronto Raptors come
into Game 1 as heavy 11-point road underdogs against the No.1 Cleveland
Cavaliers on BetAnySports’ opening betting line
and the total for the game is now at 201 after opening at 202.5. Game
time from Quickens Loans Arena is set for 8:30 and it will be broadcast
nationally on ESPN.

Toronto needed the full seven games to get past both Indiana in the
opening round and Miami in the conference semifinals, but it comes into
Tuesday’s game in solid form after crushing the Heat 116-89 in Sunday’s
Game 7 as a 4.5-point home favorite on BetAnySports’ closing line. The
Raptors are 5-9 against the spread in those 14 playoff games and the
total has gone OVER in four of their last seven outings.

The backcourt of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan has struggled at times
this postseason, but these two were at their very best in Sunday’s win.
Lowry led the way with 35 points while going 11-for-20 from the field
and DeRozan added 28 points and eight rebounds to help pace the win.
This was just the third time in the postseason that the Raptors scored
100 points or more after averaging 102.7 points per game in the regular
season.

Cleveland has barely broken a sweat in its first two playoff series with
four-game sweeps of both Detroit and Atlanta. It has gone 5-3 ATS in
those eight games and the total has gone 3-4-1 on BetAnySports’ closing
line. With four SU victories on their home court in the postseason, the
Cavaliers have now gone 37-8 SU at home, but that record falls to 23-22
ATS. The total has gone OVER in three of their last five home games.

As expected, LeBron James has played at a very high level in these
playoffs with an average of 23.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists,
but he has gotten some solid support from both Kyrie Irving and Kevin
Love. Irving is leading Cleveland in scoring with 24.2 PPG and Love is
adding 18.9 points and 12.5 rebounds. The Cavs averaged 104.3 PPG in the
regular season and this has jumped to 107.8 points in the playoffs.
They have allowed 100 points or more in just two of the eight games
played.

I like Cleveland at home on Tuesday night, but there may be just enough
rust from an extended layoff to keep things closer than 11 points on BetAnySports NBA betting line.

Derek Holland wants to get back on track against the A's - Handicappers Hideaway

Holland will try to get back on track tonight as the Rangers begin a
three-game road series with the Oakland Athletics against another
struggling left-hander. He had a promising April after missing most of
the previous two seasons due to injury, but May has been the opposite.

Holland (3-2, 6.09 ERA) went 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA in his first five
starts and completed at least five innings in each. Over his last two,
he's 0-1 with 16 runs allowed in just five total innings. He gave up
five runs (four earned) and eight hits in 2 1/3 innings of
Tuesday's13-11 home win over the Chicago White Sox.

He hasn't faced the A's since 2014 but has struggled in his last four
starts in the series, going 0-2 with a 5.94 ERA and making it through at
least five innings just once.

Manaea was knocked around in Boston for eight runs on 10 hits in 2 2/3 innings in just his third career big league start.

Manaea's ability to rebound will be especially significant. The A's are
eyeing rotation changes in the coming week, with right-handers Henderson
Alvarez and Jesse Hahn expected to return, and Manaea is a likely
candidate to be sent down to continue his work in the Minors.

Danny Valencia homered three times in the series finale two days after
hitting his first two home runs of the year. The third baseman is
batting .405 on a 10-game hitting streak.

The A's edged out the Rangers, 10-9 in last year's season series.

The first 5 inning bets stand at -½ +120 on the A's and u4½ -105. Also on the game the A's -1½ +170 and o8½ +100 at Wager506.com Today Wager506.com
will guarantee the bets on this game for new accounts, meaning if you
lose they put the risk money back in the account with a 7x rollover.
