NBA Tuesday Free Pick- Cleveland Cavaliers at Miami Heat

Miami Heat

Miami Heat Meet Hot Cavs

The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to extend their current winning streak to six games this Tuesday night in a road game against the Miami Heat. Tip-off from American Airlines Arena is set for 8 p.m. on TNT.

VietBet opened the Cavaliers as slight 2.5-point favorites with the total set at 218.5. The line is now Cleveland -3 and the total is up to 221.

Cleveland’s straight-winning streak reached five games with Sunday’s 121-114 victory on the road against Brooklyn. The Cavs were a 6.5-point favorite with VietBet. The Cavaliers are third in the Eastern Conference at 44-29.

They have gone 4-1 against the spread over their last five games. The total has gone OVER in six of their last eight outings.

LeBron James’ game-high 37 points in Sunday’s win was the fifth time in his last six starts that he crossed the 30-point mark. He also added 10 rebounds and eight assists. Cleveland is the fifth-highest scoring team in the NBA with an average of 111.1 points per game.

The return of Kevin Love has provided a scoring boost. He has had an average of 20.3 points in his last four games. The Cavaliers fall to 27th in the league at the other end of the court in points allowed at 110.3.

Miami Heat Still in Playoff Race

The Heat are still battling for a playoff spot in the East at 39-35. Sunday’s 113-107 overtime loss to Indiana as 3.5-point road underdogs made it harder. They are still just a game and a half back for sixth place in the standings.

Miami is 22-13 SU (14-17-4 ATS) at home this season. They have won their last six home games both SU and ATS. The total has gone OVER or ended as a PUSH in four of those six games.

Miami is well down the list in scoring this season. They only have an average of 103.3 PPG. The Heat still have scoring balance throughout its lineup with nine players averaging at least 11 points a game. Six different players were in double figures in Sunday’s loss. Tyler Johnson leading the way with 19 points.

Goran Dragic leads the Heat in scoring this season with 17.5 PPG. He was held to just nine points against Indiana.

Cleveland brings a hot hand into Miami on Tuesday night, but I am still going with the Heat at home both SU and ATS. They have played their best ball lately on their home court.

In the FanDuel.com Fantasy Sports Review, we will review the good and the bad about them from top to bottom. FanDuel.com is arguably the biggest daily fantasy sports website and has been dominating the fantasy sports industry for several years.

The company was established in 2009 in Texas and is the brainchild of Nigel Eccles and Tom Griffiths.  Since then they have moved their operation to New York City and have received numerous awards over the years. Some of the awards include the FTSA’s Best Daily Fantasy Product in 2014 and Company of the Year in 2012.

FanDuel.com is a giant in the Daily Fantasy Sports industry with over 6 million users around the world.  In addition, over 4 million people have downloaded their mobile apps across all platforms.  The company has been seen recently in the news over a potential merger with DraftKings.com in 2016.  The merger was then cancelled in 2017 after federal regulators sued to block it.

FanDuel.com Fantasy Sports Review

In this review, we got the point of view of a new player and of an experienced daily fantasy player. Here is what they thought of the FanDuel.com Fantasy Sports service.

Signing Up for an account was fast and easy.  Making a deposit was just as easy since they have several banking options like credit cards and PayPal. Even better, we got a 20% Bonus Play when we made our deposit. For those who just want to try out the water, they are several free games available where you can also win small prizes.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text admin_label="Review" _builder_version="3.0.106" background_layout="light"]

FanDuel.com is great because they allow you to play a fantasy league without having to spend a lot of money. They have $1 contests where the winner get a $300 prize as well as more expensive ones with larger prizes. In addition, they have so many leagues open every day that you never run out of things to do.

We love that even though they have thousands of daily contests, it does not take away any from quality play.
The Fantasy sports platform is easy to navigate and understand. Their mobile Apps is also very easy to use and makes it even easier to keep up with your favorite league.

Our Recommendation

If you are going to choose a website to play daily fantasy sports pick Fanduel.com. They are a trusted company with high end contest and promotions for both new and experienced players.

SportsBetting.ag Sportsbook Review

We were a bit skeptical about using SportsBetting.ag at first because it used to have a bad reputation.  That is until 2012 when BetOnline.ag bought them and turned things around.  After spending some time gambling on their site, we are happy to say that they have greatly improved their service.

We were pleased with their customer service department and the lines they had available on their sports betting software.  In addition, it is worth noting how easy it was to use their mobile betting platform. Even though we lost our shirts off in the casino and ended up having to make another deposit we are overall happy with their service.

One aspect we really like about them is that you can bet on eSports.  eSports betting has not yet caught amongst the old sports betting crowd but for gaming enthusiasts, it a bonus.

Even though we lost the casino and ended up making another deposit, we are overall happy with their service.

Would we recommend this book to anyone? The answer is YES! They are a sportsbook that have worked very hard to repair their reputation and it shows. SportsBetting.ag has all the qualities of a reliable sportsbook as they have decent lines, excellent service and above average bonuses.

Sweet 16: Clemson and Kansas Kick-off Friday Action

Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament

Clemson Heads Into Sweet 16 as a Unknown

Sweet 16 action kicks off on Friday Night with the Clemson Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks battling. CenturyLink Center-NE will host the action and CBS will televise the game nationally.

Oddsmakers opened the Jayhawks as -4-point favorites versus the Tigers, while the game's total opened at 143. The line is now Kansas -5 and the total is up to 144.5.

The basketball coach at Clemson is trying to makea name for himself. His name is not recognized like his three counterparts at the Midwest Regional. Mike Krzyzewski has led Duke to five NCAA titles and 12 Final Four appearances. Bill Self has one national title and two Final Fours with Kansas. Jim Boeheim has one title and five Final Fours with Syracuse.

Brad Brownell has Clemson in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1997. He previously coached Wright State and UNC-Wilmington to tournament appearances.

Clemson advanced by playing great defense. They limited Auburn to 25.8 percent shooting. Auburn only scored points on just 22 of 70 possessions in an 84-53 second-round matchup. Clemson ranks 18th nationally defending shots. The Tigers are allowing only 40.4 percent on average per game.

Three over-sized guards lead the way. All of them stand 6'3" and cause matchup problems. Marcquise Reed, Gabe DeVoe and Shelton Mitchell, lead the Tigers in scoring with averages of 15.9, 13.7 and 12.3 points, respectively.

Sweet 16 Again for Kansas in a "Down" Year

Self and the Jayhawks' Big 12 dominance is reflected in 14 consecutive league championships. However, the Big 12 advanced four teams to the Sweet 16 this year.

Kansas outlasted Penn and Seton Hall in the first two rounds. Center Udoka Azubuike is back. The 7-foot sophomore missed the Jayhawks' championship run in the Big 12 Tournament. He was out with an MCL strain.

He played 22 minutes against Seton Hall and chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds. Azubuike leads the nation in field goal percentage. He is making 77.5 percent of his attempts.

A whole flock of Kansas shooters have combined to average 10 3-point makes per game. They are shooting 40.3 percent from behind the arc.

The Jayhawk that has been the hottest during the five-game winning streak has been sophomore guard Malik Newman. He is averaging 22 points during that run and is hitting 59 percent from downtown.

Sweet 16: Florida State vs. Gonzaga Tangle

Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament

Zags and Seminoles Match Up Well in Sweet 16

The fans at Staples Center will see a intriguing Sweet 16 matchup on Thursday Night. The Florida State Seminoles and the Gonzaga Bulldogs when they take their seats on Thursday.

Oddsmakers opened the Bulldogs as -6.5-point favorites versus the Seminoles, while the game's total opened at 155. The line has crept down to 6, while the total has dropped to 153.

The Seminoles are big and deep this season. 11 different players saw action in the first eight minutes Sunday against Xavier. The team is tied for 17th in the nation with 5.2 blocks per game. Their two centers, 7-footer Ike Obiagu and 7-4 Christ Koumadje, have combined for 101 blocked shots.

Xavier's two best players couldn't handle FSU pressure. Seniors Trevon Blueitt and J.P Macura, combined to commit half of the Musketeers' 18 turnovers. Florida State closed the game with an 18-4 run to win 75-70. Expect a lot of perimeter defense in this one as well.

After finishing the ACC regular season 9-9, the Seminoles have seen their share of scraps along the way. The Zags will be no different.

Florida State was 3-0 in overtime games against eventual NCAA Tournament teams. They also rallied from 18 down to beat Clemson. The Tigers are still alive in the Midwest Region.

Zags are a Well Balance Team Heading into Sweet 16

The Zags' marched to a fourth straight Sweet 16 appearance. They might not have followed the usual script, but they made plays when it mattered.

After being off for nine days, Gonzaga looked rusty in the first round. They needed a clutch 3-pointer from Zach Norvell Jr. to finally put away UNC-Greensboro 68-64.

The rust was worn off by Saturday when the Bulldogs raced to a 15-0 lead in their second-round matchup with Ohio State.

This was unlike in their November meeting where Gonzaga rolled to a 27-point victory. Ohio State made a second-half surge. The Buckeyes led 67-62 after Keita Bates-Diop's 3-pointer with 6:02 to go.

Zach Norvell, known by his teammates as Snacks, hit from downtown and snatched a rebound that led to a three-point play by Killian Tillie. Gonzaga regained the lead for good.

Norvell finished with 28 points and made 6 of 11 shots from long range. He scored five straight points to put the Zags up 78-69 with 1:52 left. He also has 12 rebounds to set a career high.

To counter the Seminoles' huge front line, the Bulldogs will have stay out of foul trouble. Fouls plagued them against Ohio State. Killian Tillie, a 6-10 sophomore, 6-foot-9 senior Johnathan Williams and Norvell each had four fouls. Point guard Josh Perkins fouled out in the closing seconds.

They have a nation-leading 16-game winning streak. The Zags just make the plays when they had to.
