Chicago Bears to Start Trubisky Monday Night

Monday Night Football will be an interesting adventure this week when the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears meet at Soldier Field. The game will start a little after 8:30 pm EST. The game will be broadcast by ESPN.

Sunday Night Football Has Quality Matchup on, Finally!!

The Texans offense has showed an ability to score with Rookie Quarterback Deshaun Watson. Watson claimed AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. This was following his five-touchdown performance in a 57-14 victory.

The Texans offense has struggled since Bill O'Brien has been the coach, but that long drought may be worth it with Watson at the helm.

Oddsmakers opened the Chiefs as -3.5-point favorites versus the Texans, while the game's total opened at 47. The line now shows the Chiefs as a 2-point favorite. The total is down to 45.

Texans Look to Continue Improving Offense on Sunday Night Football

It was a great performance for a quarterback coming off a disappointing 2016 season and offseason shoulder surgery. Newton was awful, for him, in the first 3 weeks of the NFL Season. He averaged 188.7 yards passing and gained a total 46 rushing yards rushing. Newton threw twice as many interceptions as touchdowns as well.

Newton's return to form gives the very good Detroit Lions defense plenty of concerns on Sunday.

The Panthers eeked out two wins while scoring a combined 45 points in their first three games. They were forced to adjust with Newton's favorite target, tight end Greg Olsen, on injured reserve with a fractured foot.

NFL Week 5 Pick- Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys

Green Bay had Long Week to Prepare for Dallas Cowboys

The highlight of this Sunday afternoon’s late games is a big NFC showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. BetAnySports has opened Dallas as a 2.5-point home favorite. The total for this 4:25 p.m. (ET) start on FOX at AT&T Stadium is set at 52.5.

The Packers have had plenty of time to prepare for this rematch from last year’s playoffs. They beatup on Chicago 35-14 last Thursday night as seven-point home favorites. They come into this game at 3-1 straight-up. The team has an even 2-2 record against the spread. The total went OVER 44 points against the Bears. It has gone OVER in their last three games. They head back on the road with a 4-2 SU record in their last six road games.

I would look for another big passing day for Aaron Rodgers this Sunday. He has thrown for 1,146 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first four games. Green Bay comes into this contest with some key injury concerns on offense with Ty Montgomery, Jamaal Williams and Davante Adams all listed as day-to-day. Adams has been Rodgers top target in the passing game and Montgomery leads the team in rushing.

Dallas Cowboys Looking for Consistent Play

Dallas came out of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams in fairly good shape from an injury standpoint, but it was still on the wrong end of a 35-30 loss at home as a five-point favorite. The Cowboys are now 2-2 both SU and ATS this season after losing just three regular season games all last year. The total has gone OVER BetAnySports’ closing line in two of their last three games. They are 2-4 ATS in their last six home games with the total going OVER in four of those contests.

It would be hard to blame the Cowboys’ offense for last Sunday’s loss after Dak Prescott threw for 252 yards and three scores while Ezekiel Elliott led a ground game that ended the day with 189 yards rushing on 27 carries. This offense is ranked 12^th in the NFL in yards per game with a solid balance between the pass and the run. The issue against the Rams was a defense that allowed over 400 yards of total offense. This unit is ranked 18^th in the league in yards allowed (339.2) and 26^th in points allowed (24.2).

My lean in this one is on the Packers both SU and ATS, but my ‘best bet’ play on BetAnySports’ betting lines is the OVER on the 52.5-point total.
