Bengals at Steelers is NFL Late Game Top Matchup

Steelers Want to Build off KC Win

AFC North division rivals meet on Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers play at Heinz Field. Kickoff is set for 4:25 pm EST. CBS will have the telecast.

Oddsmakers opened the Steelers as -4-point favorites versus the Bengals, while the game's total opened at 41.

The Steelers lead the AFC North. They are coming off a huge road win over the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals come to Pittsburgh after their bye week. This allowed the team to recharge, get healthy and prepare to get back in the AFC playoff picture. They started the season 0-3.

Steelers Look to Improve Run Defense

Last time out for Pittsburgh, they were a 19-13 winner as they battled the Kansas City Chiefs on the road. The Steelers covered in the match as a +3.5-point underdog, while 32 combined points moved the game UNDER for totals bettors.

The one weakness in the Steelers defense is their ability to stop the run. They are 23rd in the NFL. The team is allowing 118.5 yards per game. Defensive coordinator Keith Butler did put together a successful game plan in Week 6 that limited Kansas City's Kareem Hunt to just 21 yards on nine carries.. He was the NFL's leading rusher.

Pittsburgh's run game is starting to hit full stride. Le'Veon Bell got off to a very slow start to the season after holding out most of the preseason. Bell enters the Bengals game with 550 yards. He is averaging 4.1 yards a rush. 350 of those yards and three of those scores have come in the past three games.

Bengals Look to Find Offense Consistency

The Bengals were a 20-16 winner in their most recent outing at home against the Buffalo Bills. They covered the -3-point spread as favorites, while the total score (36) made winners of UNDER bettors.

The Bengals have won their last two games to get back in contention. The change to Bill Lazor as the offensive coordinator has brought life back to an offense that was stagnant early in the year.

Quarterback Andy Dalton has played the best football of his career the past three games. He has a passer rating of 116.2 over that stretch.

A.J. Green has been the one to benefit from most of those passes. The tandem will look to do so against a passing defense that is the best in the NFL. The Steelers allow only 153.5 yards a game through the air. The secondary has given up only one pass of more than 40 yards through six games.

Green historically has been good against Pittsburgh. In the 11 regular-season games against the Steelers, Green has four 100-plus yard receiving games. He also has 71 total receptions. He has six career touchdown receptions against Pittsburgh. Green enters the game second in the NFL with 504 yards. He is second in average yards per game at 100.8.

NFL Week 7 Pick- New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers Host Saints High-Powered Offense

One of the featured betting matchups at BetAnySports in Sunday’s early games is a NFC clash between the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers. Kickoff on FOX from Lambeau Field is set for 1 p.m. (ET.) The Saints opened 4.5- point road favorites with a total line of 47.5 points. The line now shows New Orleans as a 3.5-point favorite. The total has dropped to 46.

The Saints have built some momentum for this NFC tilt. They bring in a three-game winning streak, both straight-up and against the spread. In Sunday’s wild 52-38 victory against Detroit, they were six-point home favorites.

They took BetAnySports’ closing 50.5-point total line OVER on their own. It has now gone OVER in four of five games this year. New Orleans is 3-2 (SU and ATS) on the year. The team has a 2-1 record both ways on the road.

With two touchdowns through the air, two on the ground and two on interception returns, it was quite the mixed bag in the Saints’ 52-point explosion on Sunday. Drew Brees was well below his season average with only 186 yards passing.

New Orleans got a huge effort from its running game with 193 yards on the ground. Mark Ingram turned in his best performance of the season with 114 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 25 carries.

Green Bay Packers Look to Produce Without Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay sunk to 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS with Sunday’s 23-10 loss to Minnesota. They were a three-point road favorite. Now it has to hope that its postseason plans are also not down the drain with the loss of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has a broken collarbone for the 2nd time in four years.

The Packers would have come into this Sunday’s contest as a likely seven-point home favorite. This was before the injury to Rodgers. This was after going 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in their first three home games this season. You can see the impact Rodgers’ loss has on BetAnySports’ betting line.

It looks like Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy will continue with Brett Hundley as his new signal caller. In relief of Rodgers in Sunday’s loss, he completed 18-of-33 passing attempts for 157 yards. Hundley had one touchdown throw to Davante Adams. He also tossed three interceptions while getting sacked four times.

The Packers could do little on the ground to help with 72 yards rushing on 24 attempts.

New Orleans is playing much better following that 0-2 start. Hundley remains an unknown entity on a team that is also beat up on its offensive line. I would lean towards the Saints covering, but my best bet with BetAnySports is the UNDER on the current 46-point total line.

Last time out for Penn State, they were a 31-7 winner as they battled the Northwestern Wildcats on the road. Penn State covered in the match as a -14.5-point favorite, while 38 combined points moved the game UNDER for totals bettors.

The Nittany Lions are focused on a Wolverines team that blasted them 49-10 last year in Ann Arbor. PSU won nine straight games after en route to the Big Ten championship. They are 15-1 since. Its only loss was a 52-49 Rose Bowl thriller against USC.

Michigan Hopes Stellar Defense Can Hold PSU
