Georgia Tech and UCLA Tip Off Season in China

Georgia Tech Vs. UCLA

UCLA Has 3 Players Suspended

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the UCLA Bruins will both be trying to pick up a win on Friday when they battle at Mercedes-Benz Arena. The game is being played in Shanghai, China.

This is the fifth season a member of the Pac-12 tipped its season off in China. ESPN will televise the game and tip-off is scheduled for 11:30 pm EST.

Oddsmakers opened the Bruins as -8.5-point favorites versus the Yellow Jackets, while the game's total opened at 145.5. The line now has the Bruins as a 9-point favorite. The total is at 144.

Three UCLA players will not play following arrests in an alleged shoplifting incident Tuesday in Hangzhou. The players are freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill.

Georgia Tech Has Controversy Too

CBS Sports published allegations a friend made against Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner. The allegations accused Pastner of knowing about exchanges of illegal benefits.

Georgia Tech previously self-reported violations involving Josh Okogie and Tadric Jackson to the NCAA.

The Yellow Jackets' top three scorers from a season ago were to return. The indefinite suspensions of Jackson and Okogie, who averaged 12.1 and 16.1 points, leave only Ben Lammers for the season opener. Lammers averaged 14.2 points and a team-high 9.2 rebounds in 2016-17.

Lammers' role should be even more prominent as a senior, particularly amid the Yellow Jackets' roster turmoil.

UCLA is a Team in Transition

The Bruins tip off 2017-18 with a short-handed roster as a result of the arrests. They still feature a good mix of veterans and talented youngsters. The Bruins lost stars Lonzo Ball and T.J. Leaf to the NBA draft. They also lost prolific scoring guard Isaac Hamilton and reserve center Ike Anigbogu.

Aaron Holiday and Thomas Welsh both averaged in double figures a season ago. Holiday averaged 12.3 points and Welsh was at 10.8 points. Welsh was UCLA's top rebounder at 8.7 per game.

UCLA will rely on another highly coveted freshman point guard in Jaylen Hands to replace Lonzo Ball.

NHL Odds: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday

Philadelphia Flyers

Flyers and Blackhawks Look to Make Early Season Moves

On Thursday, the Philadelphia Flyers (7-6-1-1 SU, 8-7 ATS) welcome the Chicago Blackhawks (7-6-2 SU, 7-8 ATS) to town. The teams are in sixth-place in their respective divisions. Both have collected a meager 16 points through their first 15 games.

Bet on hockey at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Chicago has been a consistent bet this season. They are up 1.36 betting units against the puck line. Chicago bettors took a hit last game when the ‘Hawks were shut out for the first time this season. The Montreal Canadiens (+120) took it to them at home.

Despite Chicago outshooting the Canadiens 38-35, Corey Crawford (.945 SV%) let two slip by. That broke his eight-plus period shutout streak. Crawford will likely be between the pipes again on Thursday. He will face Claude Giroux and the Flyers (7 PM ET).

Philadelphia (1.49 units against the puck line) is coming off a loss of their own. Last Saturday, in a game against the Colorado Avalanche (+155), the Flyers went to a shootout after a 4-4 tie through regulation.

Colorado’s Mikko Rantanen scored the game winner against Michal Neuvirth (.928 SV%). It’ll likely be Brian Elliott (.892 SV%) in net when the Flyers host the Blackhawks, however.

PricePerPlayer.com Enters Agreement to Partner with Bwager.com

San Jose, Costa Rica – Software Development and pay per head service provider, PricePerPlayer.com just entered a partnership deal with Bwager.com, a sports betting development company based out of the Philippines with branches in Costa Rica and Panama.

Bookie Pay Per Head ServiceThe partnership was created so that PricePerPlayer would be able to offer a wider array of gambling software platforms and security measures while Bwager.com would now be able to offer Sportsbook Pay Per head services to its clients.

Some of the main details of this partnership include PricePerPlayer.com acquiring 35% ownership of Bwager.com, full access to its current gambling platforms and joint project development. Bwager.com in exchange will receive full access and development rights to the PricePerPlayer pay per head software technology.

“In the past 12 months, “said Henry Sulat, the head programmer for Bwager.com, “we began receiving an overwhelming amount of request from bookies who wanted to use our software in the form of a pay per head service. Even though we wanted to assist all of these companies, we just did not have the resources or the technology to offer that type of services.”

The decision for PricePerPlayer to pick Bwager.com as a junior partner was an easy choice because they have an excellent reputation around the world for quality and dependability. Bwager.com was also looking for a partner to expand into the Bookie Pay Per Head market which made the marriage of these two companies perfect.

The integration of the two companies is expected to be completed by February of 2018 which will include the integration of sports betting platforms, policies and employee exchange. The integration of both companies will be handled by the Vice President of Bwager.com, Lindsay White and Josh Ingram of PricePerPlayer.

“We are happy to have found such a great partner with PricePerPlayer, “said Mr. Belarmino of Bwager.com, “PricePerPlayer has an excellent reputation in the gambling industry and I am certain that our partnership will bring about a long bout of prosperity for all of us.  In addition, they offer an affordable pay per head service which really helps people who want to have a sports betting operation and need to estimate how much money to be a bookie in terms of estimating real cost”

NBA TV Tuesday: Reeling Cavaliers Host Bucks

Cleveland Cavaliers

Cavaliers Battling Injuries and Chemistry Issues

The 2017-18 NBA season has not been kind to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Multiple injuries and a strange mix of personnel have LeBron James and the reigning Eastern Conference champions in a bind at 4-6 SU and 2-8 ATS.

They’ll try to break free this Tuesday when they host one of the rising forces in the East, the Milwaukee Bucks (4-5 SU, 3-5-1 ATS). Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Eastern on NBA-TV.

Oddsmakers have the Cavaliers as 4.5-point favorites. The total is holding steady at 221.

Bet on basketball at Bovada and get a free 100% bonus.

The Cavaliers have missed Kyrie Irving at point guard; Isaiah Thomas (hip), who came over from Boston in the Irving trade, isn’t expected to debut until after the holidays.

But the Cavs have also lost big man Tristan Thompson (calf) until December, while fellow big Kevin Love came down with an undisclosed illness during Sunday’s loss to Atlanta and had to go to hospital.

If there’s any good news for the Cavaliers, it’s the timing of Tuesday’s meeting with Milwaukee. This is expected to be a break-out year for the Bucks. The breakout will happen only if they make the postseason.

PF Jabari Parker (knee) is still recovering from surgery and isn’t likely to play until February. Center Greg Monroe is also out until late November with a sore left calf.

Maple Leafs Host Surprising Golden Knights

Maple Leafs Hockey

Golden Knights are Very Good for Expansion Team as the Play Maple Leafs

The Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Toronto Maple Leafs will both be trying to pick up a win on Monday when they battle at Air Canada Centre. The drop of the puck is scheduled for 7:00 pm EST.

Oddsmakers opened the Maple Leafs as -230-moneyline favorites versus the Golden Knights, while the game's total opened at 6. Now they Leafs are -200 and the total has held steady.

Toronto and Vegas have struggled recently after having strong starts to the season. The Golden Knights made a stride in the right direction Saturday with a 5-4 win over the Ottawa Senators to end a three-game losing streak.

Monday's game will be the fifth game of the Golden Knight's six-game road trip. The three losses did not shake the new team's belief in itself.

The Golden Knights won eight of their first nine games.

Golden Knights goaltender Maxime Lagace is expected to start against the Maple Leafs on Monday. He got his first career win last time out.

Maple Leafs Looking to Get Back on Winning Ways

The Maple Leafs are glad to be home after completing a 1-3 road trip. It ended with a 6-4 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. They won won seven of their first nine games and then started playing inconsistent.

Toronto was expected to do well this season after making the playoffs with a young group last season. They looked good starting the season. They have been springing leaks defensively.

Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen has been criticized at times. Left winger Matt Martin had a career-best three assists on Saturday.
