State Farm Champions Classic: Duke Takes on Michigan State

Top Ranked Duke and 2nd Ranked Michigan State Meet in Champions Classic

The Michigan State Spartans and the Duke Blue Devils will open the 2017 State Farm Champions Classic on Tuesday when they battle at United Center. Duke's young standouts will have their first test when the top-ranked Blue Devils meet No. 2 Michigan State.

Tonight will be an introduction to the country of some of these new college stars. Both games will be full of them.

Oddsmakers opened the Blue Devils as -1.5-point favorites versus the Spartans, while the game's total opened at 156. The total has inched up to 158 while the spread has stayed the same.

The teams met in a 2015 Final Four game. Duke won, freshman Grayson Allen making an impact off the bench. Duke won again last year at home in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Allen scoring a game-high 24 points.

Duke leads the series 11-2, winning the past six meetings.

Champions Classic Ready for Duke's Young Guns

Duke tuned up with home romps against Elon and Utah Valley. Mike Krzyzewski has now coached a team ranked No. 1 in 225 games. Coach K also won his 1,000th career game.

Duke freshman guard Trevon Duval has 20 assists and one turnover over his first two games.

Allen a senior and is the only Duke player to play in last year's Michigan State game.

Duke has been in No. 1 vs. No. 2 games six times. They have a 3-3 record. That includes the 1999 Final Four semifinal win over the Spartans.

Spartans Have Young Talent for Champions Classic as Well

Michigan State was a 98-66 winner in their most recent outing at home against the North Florida Ospreys. They covered the -31.5-point spread as favorites.

Miles Bridges is a preseason All-American who scored 20 points to go with 10 rebounds in the season opener. Jaren Jackson Jr. is the top newcomer for the Spartans

Michigan State is 1-1 when involved in a game with the top two teams, with the victory four years ago in the Champions Classic against No. 1 Kentucky.

Sunday Night Football: Patriots-Broncos Battle at Mile High

Can Osweiler Find Magic on Sunday Night Football Again?

Two years ago, Brock Osweiler led the Denver Broncos to victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The loss handed them their first loss. It also earned a big contract with the Houston Texans during the off-season.

America's Game of the Week: Cowboys Vs. Falcons

America's Game of the Week Sees Cowboys Looking for 4th Straight Win

America's Game of the Week on FOX Sports has the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons clashing this Sunday. They battle at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Kick-off is set for 4:25 pm EST.

Oddsmakers opened the Falcons as -3-point favorites versus the Cowboys, while the game's total opened at 53. The line still shows the Falcons as a 3-point favorite, but the total has been bet down to 49.

The Cowboys and Falcons have struggled to find their rhythm this season with their high-powered offenses. They are looking up at rivals leading their respective divisions because of their struggles.

Dallas has started to regain its momentum from last season. The Cowboys have won three straight.

Atlanta has lost 4 out of 5 because their offense can't score in the second half.

Atlanta has to find Offensive Mojo

The Falcons were a 20-17 loser in their most recent outing on the road against the Carolina Panthers. They failed to cover the -3-point spread as favorites, while the total score (37) made winners of UNDER bettors.

Cowboys Without Elliott in America's Game of the Week

Dallas was a 28-17 winner in its last match at home against the Kansas City Chiefs. They covered the -2.5-point spread as favorites, while the total score of 45 sent UNDER bettors to the payout window.

Dallas has to continue winning in order to keep up with the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys trail Philadelphia by two games. The NFC East rivals still have both of their head-to-head matchups ahead. Dallas can't afford to fall further behind in the standings even with those two meetings on the schedule.

Chargers Face the Jacksonville Jaguars Coming Off Bye Week

One of the more interesting betting matchups on Sunday’s NFL early games is in the AFC. The clash between the 3-5 Los Angeles Chargers and the 5-3 Jacksonville Jaguars is intriguing for many reasons.
