Can Osweiler Find Magic on Sunday Night Football Again?

Two years ago, Brock Osweiler led the Denver Broncos to victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The loss handed them their first loss. It also earned a big contract with the Houston Texans during the off-season.

Now the circle is complete. Osweiler is back under center for the Broncos, and is going to start against New England this Sunday night (8:30 PM ET, NBC).

Oddsmakers have the Patriots as 7-point favorites in this Sunday Night Football matchup. The total is at 45.

Things have changed since 2015. Osweiler’s Broncos (3-5 SU, 2-5-1 ATS) aren’t nearly as strong as the team that went on to win Super Bowl 50 with Peyton Manning at the controls. Denver was a 2.5-point home dog when Osweiler upset New England in overtime.

This Sunday at Mile High, they’re getting 7.5 points against a Patriots team (6-2 SU, 4-4 ATS) that has won four straight at 3-1 ATS. The Broncos are on a four-game SU and ATS losing streak.

America's Game of the Week Sees Cowboys Looking for 4th Straight Win

America's Game of the Week on FOX Sports has the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons clashing this Sunday. They battle at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Kick-off is set for 4:25 pm EST.

Oddsmakers opened the Falcons as -3-point favorites versus the Cowboys, while the game's total opened at 53. The line still shows the Falcons as a 3-point favorite, but the total has been bet down to 49.

The Cowboys and Falcons have struggled to find their rhythm this season with their high-powered offenses. They are looking up at rivals leading their respective divisions because of their struggles.

Dallas has started to regain its momentum from last season. The Cowboys have won three straight.

Atlanta has lost 4 out of 5 because their offense can't score in the second half.

Atlanta has to find Offensive Mojo

The Falcons were a 20-17 loser in their most recent outing on the road against the Carolina Panthers. They failed to cover the -3-point spread as favorites, while the total score (37) made winners of UNDER bettors.

Despite an arsenal of proven offensive players, the Falcons couldn't move the chains last week. Atlanta converted just 4 of 15 opportunities on third and fourth down. Two of those failures were in the fourth quarter.

Dallas has to continue winning in order to keep up with the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys trail Philadelphia by two games. NFL Week 10 Pick- Los Angeles Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars

Chargers Face the Jacksonville Jaguars Coming Off Bye Week

One of the more interesting betting matchups on Sunday’s NFL early games is in the AFC. The clash between the 3-5 Los Angeles Chargers and the 5-3 Jacksonville Jaguars is intriguing for many reasons. The Chargers went into last week’s bye off a tough 21-13 loss to New England. They were 6.5-point road underdogs. This dropped them to 3-5 straight-up with a 3-4-1 record against the spread. Los Angeles is 2-1-1 ATS in four road games this year.

Behind veteran quarterback Philip Rivers, the Chargers are 11^th in the NFL in passing with an average of 243.9 yards per game, but they dip down to 16^th in total yards because of a ground game that is only adding 88.9 yards per game. The biggest strength of this team is on the other side of the ball with a defense that is eighth against the pass and seventh in the league in points allowed (19.0).

Jacksonville Jaguars Leading the AFC South

Surprising Jacksonville continues to set the pace in the AFC East with Tennessee at 5-3 on the year. It is also 5-3 ATS after taking down Cincinnati 23-7 on Sunday as a 5.5-point home underdog. The total stayed UNDER BetAnySports’ closing 37.5-point line in that game and it has stayed UNDER in three of the Jaguars’ last four outings. They improved to 2-2 ATS at home this season and 2-1 ATS when closing as favorites.

Blake Bortles had to win back his starting job at quarterback this season and he continues to earn his keep with 1,657 passing yards and 10 touchdown throws against five interceptions. The most impressive part of Sunday’s win was the 149 yards this offense gained on the ground even with rookie sensation Leonard Fournette out of the lineup due to injury. The Jaguars’ defense continues to play at a very high level as the league’s top unit in points allowed (14.6).

6th-Ranked TCU Travels to 5th-Ranked Oklahoma

Oklahoma's Mayfield is Front-runner for Heisman

The 6th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs and the 5th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners battle on Saturday when they meet at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Fox Sports has the coverage nationally and kick-off is set for 8 pm EST.

Baker Mayfield has turned from a Heisman Trophy contender into the clear-cut favorite. After his exhibition a week ago in a win over Oklahoma State. The top NFL prospect threw for 598 yards and five touchdowns.

TCU Hopes Solid Defense can Contain Oklahoma

The Horned Frogs are first nationally in rushing defense. They are allowing less than 70 yards per game. The Horned Frogs are allowing just 6.8 points and 188.0 yards over the last four games.
