For the Miami Heat, this will be their third game of a four-game road trip. The first two contests on that trip have resulted in wins. That includes a 109-97 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves  on Friday. Also a 100-93 win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. The Heat have won three straight overall and four of their last five.

The Cavaliers, who’ve been red-hot of late, are 12-7 going into a Monday road game in Philadelphia. Their winning streak was extended to seven games when they edged the Charlotte Hornets 100-99 at home on Friday. James posted a triple-double with 27 points, 16 boards and 13 assists, while Wade put up 10 points off the bench for the Cavaliers.

The Heat are 6-4 SU (including three wins in a row) and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Cavaliers, with half of the games going over the posted total.

MNF Preview: Ravens host the Texans

Baltimore Ravens Football

Ravens Look to Dispose of Texans for Playoff Push

The Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens will meet on ESPN Monday night for Monday Night Football. The game is being played at M&T Bank Stadium and kickoff is set for 8:30 pm EST.

Oddsmakers opened the Ravens as -7.5-point favorites versus the Texans, while the game's total opened at 38. The total has since eased up to 39.

The Ravens thrive under the bright lights. They can also strengthen their position in the AFC playoff race with a victory over the Houston Texans. Since coach John Harbaugh took over the team in 2008, Baltimore has gone 11-1 in night games. That is by far the best mark in the NFL. The Ravens have also won nine consecutive prime-time matchups.

Baltimore won its last outing, a 23-0 result against the Green Bay Packers on November 19. The Ravens covered in that game as a -2.5-point favorite, while the 23 combined points took the game UNDER the total.

Baltimore holds the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC. They have not played at M&T Bank Stadium since a 44-0 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 26. The Ravens have a chance to win consecutive games for the first time since the opening two weeks of the season.

Texans Looking to Stay Relevant

Houston was a 31-21 winner in its last match at home against the Arizona Cardinals. They covered the -2.5-point spread as favorites, while the total score of 52 sent OVER bettors to the payout window.

The Texans are trying to stay afloat without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson. Watson suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice earlier this month. Tom Savage will get his fifth start of the season against a Ravens' secondary that leads the NFL with 16 interceptions.

Savage lost his first two starts when Watson went down with the injury. He was better last week against the Arizona Cardinals. He went 22 of 32 for 230 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

South Carolina Hosts 3rd-Ranked Clemson In Palmetto Bowl

Clemson Tigers Football

'Cocks Look to Destroy CFP Hopes for Clemson

The fans at Williams-Brice Stadium will see the Palmetto Bowl, between the 3rd-ranked Clemson Tigers and the 24th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday night.

Both teams have qualified for bowl games. South Caronlina sure would love to ruin Clemson's national championship playoff dreams for 2017.

Oddsmakers have the Tigers as a 13.5-point favorite. The total is at 46.5.

Dabo Swinney won his first game as Clemson's interim head coach against Boston College midway through the 2008 season. He was thinking only of the next game at that point in his career. Less than 10 years later he can earn his 100th career victory on Saturday night.

A victory against the Gamecocks would make him only the fourth coach to win 100 games in his first 10 years. Swinney would be joining a select group that includes Bob Stoops, Urban Meyer and Chris Peterson.

South Carolina Looks for Better in 2017 Palmetto Bowl

South Carolina lost last year's game at Clemson. They lost it badly, 56-7. The Gamecocks were a 6-6 team under first-year coach Will Muschamp. This year the team has built a solid-team with an 8-3 record by winning five of its last six games.

The Gamecocks rely on a solid run defense to keep games close. They then hope that sophomore quarterback Jake Bentley can make some plays.

South Carolina is playing for an attractive bowl bid and and upsetting Clemson pads that resume.

Clemson Still has Swarming Defense

Clemson boasts a deep and talented defense. The squad ranks second nationally in sacks, third in scoring defense, sixth in tackles for loss. They are seventh in total defense.

The team has a diverse offense that again ranks among the best in the nation. This, despite losing quarterback Deshaun Watson and other offensive stars off last season's national championship team.

Kelly Bryant makes the Tigers go from the QB position. The Junior is blessed with a ton of weapons. Wide receivers Deon Cain, Hunter Renfrow and Ray-Ray McCloud stretch the field. While big-play running backs Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster pound you in the middle.

The Iron Bowl: Auburn Tries to Take Down #1 'Bama

The Iron Bowl

Iron Bowl Determines Who Plays UGA for SEC Title

The fans at Jordan-Hare Stadium will see The Iron Bowl, between the #1 Alabama Crimson Tide and the 6th-ranked Auburn Tigers when they take their seats on Saturday. The Iron Bowl features a winner-take-all matchup for the SEC West Division.

The winner earns the right to play Georgia in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 2 in Atlanta.

Oddsmakers have Alabama as a 6-point favorite. The total is at 47.5.

The winner of the Iron Bowl has played for the national championship in seven of the past eight years. Alabama-Auburn was already one of the top rivalries in college football. The recent history has pushed it into another level altogether. Not many rivalries can boast this type of history.

Alabama has a 45-35-1 lead in the series and has won seven of the past nine matchups.

Auburn used the infamous Kick Six game to defeat Alabama in 2013. It ended the Crimson Tide's chance at three straight national championships. The Tigers defeated Missouri in the SEC Championship Game. Auburn then came a few seconds away from claiming the national championship in a tough loss to Florida State.

Auburn Used to Playing #1 Teams

Playing the top team in the country is nothing new for Auburn. The Tigers welcomed then-No. 1 Georgia into Jordan-Hare Stadium just two weeks ago. The Tigers hammered the Bulldogs 40-17. In reality the game that wasn't that close.

Running back Kerryon Johnson leads the SEC with 1,172 yards rushing and 16 rushing touchdowns. Auburn ranks No. 4 in the SEC in rushing yards per game. The War Eagles have almost always had a strong running game under Gus Malzahn. Despite running the spread offense, he believes teams must be physical in the run game.

Quarterback Jarrett Stidham has given the Tigers a downfield passing game they haven't had in a few years. Stidham has thrown for 2,445 yards with 16 touchdowns. The transfer only has four interceptions. He leads the SEC in completion percentage (67.8).

Auburn has been well over 200 yards rushing in seven of its last eight games. They only had 189-yard effort in the loss to LSU. The Tigers have been over 300 yards four times.

More of the Same from the Crimson Tide

Alabama has the No. 2 rush defense in the country, limiting teams to 87.4 yards per game.

The Tide loves to run as well. Alabama leads the SEC in rushing yards with 270.3 per game. They also lead in yards per carry at 6.03. Then throw in 35 rushing touchdowns.

Alabama All-American safety Minkah Fitzpatrick sat out last week's game against Mercer. He has a lingering hamstring issue. He was expected to practice through the week. Starting guard Ross Pierschbacher has a bum ankle and hadn't been cleared as of Monday but was considered day-to-day.
