Rangers Host the AL West Leading Astros

exas Rangers Baseball

Can Rangers Stay Close after All-Star Break?

The Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers will battle tonight at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Lance Lynn looks to win his fifth straight start and sixth consecutive decision this evening. The Rangers open a four-game series against the AL West leading Astros. The stretch has raised Lynn's win total to 11 so far this season. He is on pace to surpass his career-best mark of 18 he set with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2012.

TV: 8:05 p.m. ET, ESPN; LINE: Astros -123; O/U: 10.5 -110.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Astros Framber Valdez (3-4, 4.57 ERA) vs. Rangers RH Lance Lynn (11-4, 3.91 ERA)

Lynn will attempt to slow down a Houston team that has the second-best record in the American League and third in the majors. The 57-33, Astros hold a 7 1/2-game lead over the Oakland Athletics in the AL West. The Rangers are 48-42, and are sitting nine games out. Houston soared into the All-Star break with seven wins in its past eight games. Texas reached 10 games above .500 before losing six of their last eight before the break. Houston smacked the Rangers around in their last meeting, outscoring them 33-11 in a four-game home sweep from May 9-12.

This, That, and a Dart Throw

Houston has decided on Framber Valdez as starting pitcher for the opener of the series. This was well after announcing Gerrit Cole, Wade Miley and Justin Verlander will start the final three games. Brad Peacock, and his bum shoulder, is on the injured list. Jose Urquidy was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday and the left-hander Valdez was recalled on Thursday to make the start. The 25-year-old Valdez has started four games for the Astros out of his 18 appearances. He was torched for 11 runs over 6 1/3 innings while losing his last two big league starts in the latter part of June. All-Star OF Michael Brantley posted four-hit outings in each of his last two games before the break.

Lynn has been consistently good this year for the Rangers. He has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his past 10 starts. The crafty veteran has struck out 30 and walked just two during his four-start winning streak. Lynn has issued one or fewer bases on balls in 10 of his last 11 outings, as well. Lynn lost to the Astros on May 10 when he gave up three runs and six hits over seven innings. He stands 4-2 with a 2.20 ERA in eight career appearances, with seven starts, against Houston. OF Joey Gallo (20 homers) went deep in Tuesday's All-Star Game. He was just 3-for-18 with 12 strikeouts in his final five games before the break.

The Dart Throw: Rangers 6, Astros 3

Neymar to Leave PSG? Bookie Speculates Brazil Star’s Next Move

Neymar to leave PSG? There are many speculations about the Brazilian’s next move after he failed to show up for PSG’s first day of pre-season training. In fact, there are rumors that he might go back to Barcelona.

PSG sporting director Leonardo told bookie pay per head operators that the team will accept an offer for Neymar if it is beneficial for everyone. In addition, he said that the team hasn’t received any offers yet. However, there are some unofficial talks with Barcelona.

PSG got Neymar from Barcelona for 222 million euros in August 2017. When asked if Neymar to leave PSG, Leonardo said all signs are clear. However, one might say one thing today and the opposite tomorrow.

Neymar to Leave PSG

Neymar to Leave PSG? Bookie Speculates Brazil Star’s Next Move

Leonardo spoke to Neymar and his entourage. The player’s position is clear to everyone. However, one thing that is concrete is that Neymar still has three years in his contract. The team hasn’t received any offers and they can’t discuss anything about Neymar’s future.

In addition, Leonardo said that Neymar to leave PSG is possible. However, there’s no indicator that someone is going to buy him. Also, there are no talks about the price. PSG wants to rely on players who want to stay with the team. PSG doesn’t want players who feel they are doing the team a favor by staying.

Brazilian sports news media quoted the Neymar’s father as stating that the team was aware Neymar will miss the first day of training due to charity affairs. In addition, Neymar Sr said that his son will be back on July 15. PSG is adamant that Neymar’s absence is not authorized by the team.

According to bookie software, Neymar scored 34 goals in 37 matches for PSG. As a result, the team won back-to-back Ligue 1 titles. However, the player was involved in several disciplinary incidents. In fact, he will miss the next three European games for insulting officials.

MLB Odds: 2019 MLB All-Star Game

2019 MLB All-Star Game

Young Stars are Story of 2019 MLB All-Star Game

With the unofficial first half of the regular season in the books, Major League Baseball is taking a well-deserved break for the 2019 All-Star Game. This year’s Midsummer Classic is being held Tuesday night at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The AL leads the series 44-43-2. That includes a 8-6 victory in 10 innings last year in the highest-scoring game since the infamous 7-7 tie in 2002.

TV: 7:30 p.m. ET, FOX; LINE: N.L. -117; O/U: 8.5 Over -117.

PITCHING MATCHUP: National League LH Hyun-Jin Ryu (10-2, 1.73 ERA) vs. American League RH Justin Verlander (10-4, 2.98)

The American League's recent dominance of the National League in the All-Star Game is a strange phenomenon seeing as each team shares the most talented players in the world. The AL tries for its seventh straight victory and 19th in the last 23 meetings over the N.L. on Tuesday. Tonight's affair will be the 90th edition of the Midsummer Classic. The game tonight is the first time in five years the game will be played in an AL ballpark.

The All-Star Game was a reliably low-scoring affair for most of the new millennium. With the recent emphasis on power hitting and changes in the manufacture of the balls themselves. Last year’s game was an 8-6 victory (Over 7) for the AL in 10 innings, their sixth straight win.

2019 MLB All-Star Game This, That, and a Dart Throw

The hometown fans will have plenty to cheer about with four Indians on the AL roster. The players include first baseman Carlos Santana, who is batting fourth, reserve shortstop Francisco Lindor and pitchers Shane Bieber and Brad Hand. Hand is expected to get the ball in the eighth inning. Houston paces the AL with six representatives. The have four starters, in right fielder George Springer (batting first), third baseman Alex Bregman (sixth), left fielder Michael Brantley (eighth) and right-hander Justin Verlander.

The Los Angeles Dodgers also boast five players with a pair of NL starters in right fielder Cody Bellinger, who is batting fourth and left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu. Verlander is starting his second All-Star Game, in his eighth appearance, while Ryu makes his All-Star Game debut. This is definitely a matchup of strong Cy Young Award contenders.

Ryu is having a remarkable season so far. He has allowed more than two earned runs only once in his 17 starts. N.L. manager Dave Roberts of Los Angeles has two of his other pitchers at his disposal. Clayton Kershaw is making his eighth appearance after a one-year hiatus. Walker Buehler is in his first All-Star Game. Kirby Yates leads the major leagues with 30 saves. He seems to be a logical choice to serve as Roberts' closer. The right-hander has saved San Diego's three consecutive victories at Dodger Stadium over the weekend.

Verlander hasn't been completely sharp of late. He has yielded three or four earned runs in each of his last six starts. This was after a solid run where he allowed three of more in only three of his first 13 turns. AL manager Alex Cora of Boston will have a lot of options after Verlander. They include the Chicago White Sox' Lucas Giolito. He shares the major league lead with 11 victories. Tampa Bay's Charlie Morton and Minnesota's Jake Odorizzi, who have 10 wins apiece are at the ready as well. Cora's staff also boasts Houston's Gerrit Cole, who leads the AL-most 170 strikeouts, and Ryan Pressly, whose 21 holds are tied for the most in baseball. Los Angeles Angels CF Mike Trout is also making his eighth All-Star Game appearance and will bat third.

The Dart Throw: National League 4, American League 2.

Are the Warriors a Good Bet in Crowded Pacific Division?

Golden State Warriors Basketball

Post Durant Warriors Still a Dangerous Team

With the dust finally settling in the NBA's free agency
period for the summer of 2019, teams are finally starting to get a clear
picture as to what they and their competition will look like. And with the Los
Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers coming out as the clear winners of this
portion of the year, the Golden State Warriors are finally in a position where
they are not the favorites to win the title. The question now is if the
Warriors are a good bet to come out on top of the Pacific division.

The
competitive landscape

Unlike in previous seasons, there are teams that should
actually be competitors to the Warriors at the top of the Western Conference
playing in Golden State's own division. Those teams are, of course, the Lakers
and Clippers. And the Clippers may be considered the favorites to win the
entire championship this year, with the surprising
additions
of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. With both players being
elite two-way players, they could quickly make the Clippers the best team in
the league.

As for the Lakers, they traded for Anthony Davis this
offseason, and are adding additional pieces who could further bolster their
roster. The addition of DeMarcus
Cousins
to go along with Davis and LeBron James makes for a fearsome trio
that is fit to go toe to toe with both the Clippers and Warriors. The question
for handicappers will be if those teams can hold off the Warriors to earn a
division title.

Still
the team to beat

Before the start of the season, the Warriors might still be
the team to beat in the Pacific. The biggest reason for this is something that
all NBA picks should take
into account: continuity. The Lakers and Clippers may well endure growing pains
this season, as several star players get used to playing together on some of
the biggest stages in the NBA. The Warriors may not be in perfect health, but
they know how to work together within the system of head coach Steve Kerr.

In addition to the edge that their continuity gives them,
they are also still an incredible basketball team. Despite losing Kevin Durant
in free agency and Klay Thompson to injury, they will still boast former
unanimous MVP Steph Curry and one of the most versatile players in the league
in Draymond Green. Expect Kerr to do an incredible job of finding new wrinkles
in their offense to get Curry open, which will keep the Warriors at or near the
top of the conference even before Thompson's eventual return.

Not only are the Clippers and Lakers favored to win the
Pacific over the Warriors, but they are also favored to win the NBA Finals over
them as well. For the first time in a long time, the Golden State Warriors will
be underdogs to finish at the top of their division. If the rest of the league
should expect anything from them during the Kerr and Curry era, it is that
being an underdog won't be enough to stop the Warriors from accomplishing what
they want to.

Rays Host Yankees To Wrap First Half

Tampa Bay Rays Baseball

Rays Look to Split Series Sunday Afternoon

There aren’t many baseball teams better than the 51-39 Tampa Bay Rays, but the 57-30 New York Yankees certainly qualify. They’ll play their last game before the All-Star break this Sunday at the Trop. The Yankees have won the first two game of the series. Today's matchup has all the makings of another good one.

TV: 1:10 p.m. ET, TBS; YES (New York), FS Sun (Tampa Bay); LINE: Rays -125; O/U: 7.5 -110.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees LH James Paxton (5-3, 4.09 ERA) vs. Rays RH Charlie Morton (9-2, 2.36)

Finally, it was the Tampa Bay Rays coming up with the clutch hits in the late innings. New York looked set to make it to extra innings and grab a third straight win in the series. Aaron Hicks had different ideas, as he tied the game with a solo homer in the top of the ninth Saturday. It was catcher Travis d'Arnaud who came up with two outs and belted a walk-off solo blast. The Rays won the game 4-3. The victory snapped a three-game slide for the Rays. It moved them back within 7 1/2 games of the Yankees and a chance to get closer today.

New York has not dropped back-to-back games since a three-game slide from June 11-14. They had taken six straight from the Rays before Chad Green faltered in the ninth inning Saturday.

Pitching Matchup for Rays is Favorable Against Yankees

Morton is having an incredible season for the Rays after coming over from the Houston Astros in free agency. He’ll be making his second appearance in the Midsummer Classic as announced earlier in the week. Tampa hasn’t taken full advantage of Morton’s talents. They have only gone 11-7 in his 18 starts. Seven of those ended in a No Decision for Morton, with the Rays winning just twice. This is despite a full five runs of support per game and arguably the best bullpen in the majors.

Morton had little trouble with the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. He struck out a season-high 12 while scattering one run and four hits across seven innings to earn a win. Morton has posted a quality start in each of his last three turns in the rotation. He has allowed three or fewer earned runs in 16 of his 18 outings. Morton's shortest outing of the season came at New York on May 19. He was reached for five runs, three of them earned, on four hits and four walks in four innings.

The Yankees are 9-5 behind Paxton this year. They are giving the southpaw a solid 6.21 runs per game. The Yankees bullpen is performing very well, as well. Paxton hasn't pitched to the level of what some in New York expected. They sent three prospects to the Seattle Mariners for Paxton back in November, after three dominant seasons in the Pacific Northwest.

Paxton is just trying to find some consistency. Today he has a chance to post a quality start in back-to-back outings for the first time since April. He had a solid turn at the New York Mets on Tuesday. Paxton held the Mets to one run on eight hits and two walks. The line was six innings and he did not factor in the decision. Paxton is seeing Tampa Bay for the first time this season. He won his lone start against the Rays as a member of the Seattle Mariners in 2018, allowing three runs and striking out 10 in seven innings.

CFL Week 4 - Roughriders Host Stampeders

Roughriders Football

Stampeders and Roughriders Coming Off Big Wins

The fans at Mosaic Stadium will see the Calgary Stampeders and the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday night. Calgary will be without their starting quarterback and star running back on Saturday night. The Roughriders are coming off a dominant performance over the Toronto Argonauts.

Kickoff is at 10:00 p.m. ET. The game will be televised by TSN and ESPN+ and followed live via CFL.ca Game Tracker.

LINE: Roughriders -6; O/U: 50.5.

The Roughriders picked up their first win of the season in Week 3. It has been a tough start to the year for the Riders. They lost starting quarterback Zach Collaros on the very first offensive play of the season. Cody Fajardo has taken up under center and had a breakout game against the Toronto Argonauts last week. Fajardo passed for over 400 yards and had two touchdowns against his former team. The performance allowed him to earn CFL Top Performer of the Week honors.

Fajardo has worked with some of the CFL’s great QB's over the years. He was slated to face one in Week 4. However, Bo Levi Mitchell has been ruled out of Saturday’s contest with an upper body injury. Mitchell was put on the 6-game injured-list.

Stampeders are Banged up Badly

Part of Mitchell’s success as a Stampeder can be attributed to his durability. He has missed a single game specifically due to injury during his eight-year CFL career. When Mitchell is not the starter (whether due to injury or for rest in late-season meaningless games), the Stampeders are 4-3. Nick Arbuckle will get the start tonight. He was critical in the teams thrilling comeback against the BC Lions last week.

Not only is Mitchell out, but star running back Don Jackson is also on the snide. Last season’s breakout star has been limited to just 48 yards on 17 carries through Week 3. He will be replaced by Terry Williams in the backfield. Williams is a very capable replacement. So far this year he has only received one hand-off through the first three games this season. Kadeem Carey will also make his Stampeders debut.

It is not limited to offense either, as Calgary is hurting on both sides of the ball. Defensive mainstays Brandon Smith and Ivan McLennan are out of commission for the Stampeders. So is receiver Juwan Brescacin.

Roughriders Look to Build off Big Win

The Riders will be looking to take advantage of the battered to hell Stampeders. Receivers Kyran Moore and Shaquelle Evans both had 100-yard games versus Toronto. Moore’s 287 receiving yards is already halfway to his total for all of 2018. William Powell has also had a nice start to his Riders career at running back. Saskatchewan’s fearsome defense handed the Stampeders their first loss of the season last year. The Green and White held Calgary to only six first-half points. The then-undefeated Stamps were stunned. They look for a repeat performance tonight. Charleston Hughes, AC Leonard and Solomon Elimimian anchor a solid front-seven. The latter making his Roughriders debut.

This, That, and a Dart Throw

Tonight will be the first-ever regular season game that pits two brothers against each other as head coaches. Dave Dickenson is celebrating 10 years as a member of the Stampeders coaching staff in 2019. He’s been at the helm since 2016. Older brother Craig is in his first season as the boss in Regina.

Craig was once on a coaching staff while Dave was still playing. Craig was the special team coordinator in Calgary in 2009, Dave’s final year as a player. The duo were then on the same staff. Dave as the running backs coach and Craig still working with the special teams for the Stamps.

The Roughriders won two of the three regular-season meetings in 2018. The teams split the two games in Regina last season. The ‘over’ cashed in all three of the battles in 2018.

Defensively, the Stamps have allowed 423.0 total yards per game. 108.0 of that is rushing yards per game. They are ranked seventh in each category.

The Dart Throw: Roughriders 29, Stampeders 13.

Reeling Mets host the Phillies Saturday Night

Mets Baseball

Phillies Feasting off Mets Bullpen

The Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets meet at Citi Field tonight. The bullpen has been a sore subject for the New York Mets for a good part of the season. No team has enjoyed facing it more of late than the Phillies. They hope to get another extended look at New York's beleaguered relief corps this evening. They are looking to extend their winning streak against their NL East rival to seven games.

TV: 7:15 p.m. ET, FOX. LINE: Mets -150; O/U: 9 -110.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Phillies RH Jake Arrieta (8-6, 4.43 ERA) vs. Mets RH Noah Syndergaard (5-4, 4.56)

Former Met Slugger, Jay Bruce sparked Philadelphia's latest uprising against New York's human gas cans in Friday's 7-2 victory. He delivered a tie-breaking single off Edwin Diaz. The was part of a five-run ninth inning to give the Phillies an 8-3 record against the Metropolotans this season. The Phillies have worn out New York's bullpen during its recent domination. The team has accumulated 27 runs on 35 hits and 11 walks over 17 2/3 innings. This has allowed them to move within two games of matching its longest winning streak in the all-time series. They had a nine-game run that over the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Mets are a Team of Wasted Opportunities

The Mets wasted solid performances from All-Stars Jacob deGrom and Pete Alonso. deGrom had 10 strikeouts over seven innings and Alonso went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI's. Alonso also extended his own N.L. rookie record with his 29th home run before the Midsummer Classic. The Mets have lost nine of their last 11games. They also tied a season low by dropping 10 games under .500 (39-49).

This, That, and a Dart Throw

The Phillies' Arrieta posted a 5.65 ERA over five starts in June, but remarkably managed to finish the month with a 3-1 record. That was after allowing four runs and eight hits, with six strikeouts over as many innings Sunday in Miami. The former N.L. Cy Young Award winner also won his previous outing despite a lackluster performance. He gave up five runs on nine hits. He also had two walks over six innings against the Mets at home. Jeff McNeil is 10-for-17 and a homer, has tormented Arrieta. He is 4-4 with a 2.85 ERA in 13 career starts against New York.

The Mets' Syndergaard returned from a two-week stint on the injured list with a no-decision against Atlanta on Sunday. He permitted three runs on seven hits and three walks. He also fanned five over 5 2/3 innings. The young veteran still enjoyed his finest month of the season. He finished June with a 2-0 record and 3.55 ERA while holding the opposition to a .204 batting average. Rhys Hoskins is 4-for-11 with two homers and Cesar Hernandez is 10-for-25 against Syndergaard. He gave up five runs over five innings in a no-decision at Philadelphia on April 15.

Yankees and Ray Clash in AL East Battle

Tampa Bay Rays Baseball

Yankees Look to Expand AL East Lead

The New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays meet at Tropicana Field on Friday night. The Yankees took a bit of a circuitous route to their 15th win in 17 outings last night. A five-run 10th inning in the series opener allowed the Bronx Bombers to build a season-high 7 1/2-game lead atop the AL East. The Yankees look to continue their torrid hot stretch tonight in the second game of their four-game set against the Rays.

TV: 7:10 p.m. ET, MLB Network, YES (New York), FS Sun (Tampa Bay); LINE: Yankees -108; O/U: 8 Over -115.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Masahiro Tanaka (5-5, 3.74 ERA) vs. Rays LH Brendan McKay (1-0, 0.00)

New York squandered a ninth-inning lead but the comeback happened quickly. DJ LeMahieu had a two-run single in the 10th. Fellow All-Star, Gary Sanchez followed two batters later with a mammoth three-run homer into the second deck in Thursday's 8-4 victory. The Yankees have won eight of 10 meetings with the Rays this season. They are averaging 6.0 runs and have belted 15 homers against their AL East rival. The pitching staff has recorded a 2.70 ERA as opposed to Tampa Bay's 5.08 ERA in the series.

The Rays' Austin Meadows had a double and a single on Thursday to improve to 11-for-36 with five extra-base hits (two doubles, three homers) versus New York this season. He is just 2-for-9 with a homer against Friday starter Masahiro Tanaka.

This, That, and a Dart Throw

Tanaka did not enjoy his London experience. The Yankees' Japanese star allowed six runs in just two-thirds of an inning in his start. He luckily got a no-decision against Boston. Tanaka has pitched significantly better versus Tampa Bay this season with a 2-0 mark in three outings. Braves Host Phillies in NL East Battle on July 4th

Braves Baseball

Braves Look to Pad Lead over Phillies in NL East

The two best teams in the National League East will meet this Thursday when the 51-36 Atlanta Braves host the 45-41 Philadelphia Phillies. This is the rubber-game of a three-game at SunTrust Park. The Braves needed just one game in July before firing up the offense that dominated in June. They head into Thursday's home series finale against the Phillies looking for a series win. Another big offensive performance would go a long way in helping.

The Braves have extended their NL East lead over the Phillies to 5 games with Wednesday's 9-2 victory. The Braves got three-run homers from Josh Donaldson and Austin Riley to win for the 21st time in their past 30 games.

TV: 7:20 p.m. ET, ESPN; NBCS Philadelphia, FS Southeast (Atlanta); LINE: Braves -162; O/U: 10.5 Over -115.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Phillies RH Zach Eflin (7-7, 3.34 ERA) vs. Braves RH Mike Soroka (9-1, 2.13)

Phillies and Braves Have Youngsters on the Hill

In his first full season in the bigs, Soroka has been one of the most profitable pitchers in baseball. He has led Atlanta to a record of 11-3 in his 14 starts. The 21-year-old baby-faced assassin has been selected for the All-Star Game. The Braves drafted him out of high school in 2015 with the No. 28 pick. Soroka has already paid big dividends for the team. He has show impressive pitch control and inducing nearly three times as many ground-ball's as fly-ball's.

Eflin was a first round pick in 2012. The Florida native hasn’t enjoyed much success since making his MLB debut with the San Diego Padres. He has an ERA of 3.34 this season and it has been his most successful throughout his young career. He has made16 starts for the Phillies. He has the Phillies at 7-9 thus far and is getting just 4.06 runs of support per game.

This, That, and a Dart Throw

Atlanta added a two-run, pinch-hit homer from Matt Joyce in pounding out 10 hits in last nights win. It was one night after being shut out for only the second time this season. They have improved to 33-16 in the team's past 49 games. Atlanta has averaged 5.9 runs and 9.4 hits per game and has bashed 86 homers over that span.

Wednesday was a milestone night for Philadelphia right fielder Bryce Harper. He recorded his 200th career homer and 1,000th career hit on a solo blast in the sixth inning. The Phillies lost for the third time in their past nine games. They were held to six hits after averaging 9.8 in their previous eight games. Catcher J.T. Realmuto extended his hitting streak to four games with two hits. He is batting .355 in his past nine games.

Eflin continues to stabilize a sometimes-shaky Philadelphia rotation. He has thrown two complete games in his first 16 starts. He is entering tonight's game ninth in the NL in ERA. The 25-year-old gave up six runs in five innings to the Mets on June 24, but he rebounded five days later by holding Miami to three runs on eight hits with one walk in six innings. Eflin has pitched to a 1.24 WHIP, but has surrendered 15 homers in 97 innings this season. He is 2-0 in three career starts with a 1.57 ERA against Atlanta.

Soroka makes his first start since being named to the NL All-Star team.He began Wednesday tied for second in the league in wins. Soroka would be second in ERA if he had enough innings to qualify. He left a June 23 start at Washington when he was hit with a pitch in his right forearm. The righty came back strong and held the Mets to two runs on seven hits with no walks and four strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings Friday. Soroka is limiting opponents to a .206 average this season and is making his first career appearance against the Phillies. Braves SS Dansby Swanson extended his hitting streak to six games Wednesday and is batting .423 during that stretch.

The Dart Throw: Braves 7, Phillies 2

Bookie Happy with Deal Between Atlanta Hawks and Sports Data Firm

In the quest for giving its players the advantage over opponents, the Atlanta Hawks signed up with a sports data startup. Their goal is to collect and analyze big data to help make smarter game decisions. As a result, they will rely more on gathered information instead of just instinct.

Orreco is a sports technology company based in Ireland. It is the leading bio-analytical firm in the world today. According to its sports news press release, Orreco will provide the Hawks with its analytic services.

In addition, the Hawks will use the data to help players recover faster. Also, the company will monitor the players to help them achieve longer careers in the NBA. Under the deal, Orreco will use its proprietary products to support the training of the Hawks throughout the year.

Bookie Reports the Deal Between Atlanta Hawks and Sports Data Firm

The Atlanta Hawks told the best bookie pay per head that they will use the data to optimize the performance of their players. In addition, they hope to reduce the training sessions required for each player. Also, they want to prevent games lost due to injury during the season.

Orreco creates a profile of each player’s bio-markers in his blood and collects data via its machine learning software. The information will provide the athlete’s optimal training conditions. In addition, it can give advice on diet and sleeping patterns. Through the system, the coaching staff can personalize individual training programs.

Atlanta is not the first big client of Orreco. In fact, it has worked with the Dallas Mavericks. Also, it provided its services to the USA Swimming Team, New Zealand women’s rugby team, and the Newcastle United of the Premier League.

Using blood samples to evaluate an athlete’s performance is a relatively new science. However, it has its pros and cons. Through technology, teams can get more data about their athletes and find potential injury factors. Bookie software experts agree that technology is beneficial for any pro team that wants to avoid player injuries.
