BCS Odds Deem Alabama and LSU Near Equal for National Championship

The season that started off with a win over No. 3-ranked Oregon has only gotten better for the LSU Tigers. Now in the New Year, No. 1-ranked Louisiana State braces for a National Championship Game run-in with the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Bet on college football at its finest with Bovada's BCS odds.

Not only did the Tigers show up big against the Ducks early this season, they also managed to knock off seven other top-ranked programs throughout the year, including Alabama once already on Nov. 5.

Will the Jan. 9 matchup end up similar to the first? After sneaking past the Tide with a 9-6 overtime victory in Round 1, the Tigers will look to solve Alabama?s defense and start putting some touchdowns on the board this time out.

Early betting lines favor the No. 1 in the National Championship Game but only by the slimmest of margins. Can the Tigers "cover the spread" as early -1 favorites? Get all the college football odds available for the game with Bovada.

Though Alabama heads into the match lower on the totem pole, there's no denying their legitimacy as a national championship force. With the exception of the LSU loss in November, the Tide, too, finished their campaign undefeated.

Think you know how the biggest game in college football will unfold?

The stage is set.

Bet the bowls with Bovada.
