Darvish and Milone Battle in Oakland as the Rangers Try to Get Back in AL West Race

Betting on Oakland Athletics Baseball

The fans at O.co Coliseum will be treated to a game between the Texas
Rangers and the Oakland Athletics when they take their seats on
Tuesday.

The Rangers will pin their hopes on the pitching of right hander Yu
Darvish in this game. Darvish has a 7-2 record and a 2.11 ERA this
season.

Starting this game for the Athletics will be Tom Milone. The left
hander has a 3.47 ERA to go along with a 4-3 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Rangers listed as 116-moneyline
favorites versus the Athletics, while the game’s total is sitting at 7.

Last time out for Texas, they were a 14-8 winner as they battled the
Athletics on the road. Moneyline bettors who got the Rangers at +161
were rewarded, while the 22 combined runs moved the game OVER for totals
bettors.

BetAnySports’ MLB Pick of the Week: Houston Astros vs, Washington Nationals- Tuesday, June 17

Betting on Nationals Baseball

Houston Astros vs, Washington Nationals- Tuesday, June 17

BetAnySports’ Line: Nationals -139/129 and the Total is 7 1/2 (over is -120)

The Houston Astros are already 11 games back in the AL West Division
race at 32-39 on the year, but they will be looking to extend the
Washington Nationals’ current losing streak to five games this Tuesday
night when the two clash in Game 1 of this quick two-game interleague
matchup.

The Astros have actually won seven of their last 11 games, but they
head into this series fresh-off a 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay as 150 underdogs
at home this past Sunday on BetAnySports’ closing MLB moneyline.
They lost two of three to the Rays this past weekend after winning
three of four against Arizona in a home-and-home series this past week.
Houston will be on the road for the next six games after posting a 15-19
mark away from home this year. The total has stayed UNDER in five of
its last seven games.

The good news for Astros’ fans in this game is that Dallas Keuchel
will get the start. The left-hander has been the shining star of this
rotation with an 8-3 record in 13 previous starts. He has posed a win in
six of his last seven trips to the mound and his overall ERA this
season is just 2.38 with a 0.99 WHIP. Even with that impressive resume, BetAnySports has opened Houston as a 120 road underdog for this game. The total has been set at seven.

Washington’s recent slide can be primarily attributed to a power
failure throughout its lineup. The Nationals have been outscored 17-4 in
their last four games and they are coming off a three-game sweep at the
hands of St. Louis that knocked them out of first place in the NL East.
Washington now trails Atlanta by a game with an overall record of
35-33. It is 19-15 at Nationals Park this season and the total stayed
UNDER in three of its last four home games.

Look for Tanner Roark to get the call as Washington’s starter for
Tuesday night. The right-hander is coming off a solid outing in which he
allowed just two runs on seven hits in six-plus innings of work against
San Francisco. He is 5-4 on the year in 13 previous starts with an ERA
of 2.92. Roark has a 1.06 WHIP and 66 strikeouts on the year.

BetAnySports total line for Tuesday night’s clash of seven is more
than enough to make a play on the UNDER in this game. The total has
stayed UNDER in four of Washington’s last six games and it is staying
UNDER again in this series opener against Houston.

Jameis Winston, Florida State favored to repeat as BCS National Champions

Betting on FSU football

The Florida State Seminoles won their first national championship
since 1999 with a thrilling 34-31 victory over Auburn to end the SEC’s
streak of seven straight national championships, as well as the BCS era
in college football.

Sports bettors are ready to look ahead, so it’s never too early to
discuss the most intriguing teams in terms of talent and betting value.
Don’t forget that next season will be the first that will use a playoff
system to determine the national champions instead of the BCS.

America’s Bookie
has the Florida State Seminoles at +300 to win the BCS National
Championship for the second straight year. Most starters from last
season will return to Florida State, including quarterback Jameis
Winston, who is also favored at +200 to join Archie Griffin as the
second-ever two-time Heisman Trophy winner.

Winston’s favorite target last season, Rashad Greene, who had nine
catches for 147 yards against Auburn in the 2014 BCS National
Championship Game, will return but Kelvin Benjamin, who caught the
game-winning touchdown, was drafted by the Carolina Panthers. The
Seminoles are still a dangerous team despite losing Benjamin and it will
be interesting to see how Winston follows up his performance from last
season.

Other short odds to win the 2015 BCS National Championship are Alabama (+550), Oregon (+700) and Ohio State (+950).

Alabama finished the regular season 11-1, which disappointed many
considering that they had won three of the last four national titles
before losing out on the SEC title and falling in the Sugar Bowl to
Oklahoma.

Quarterback Marcus Mariota will return for his senior season, which
makes Oregon a team to watch next season. The Ducks lost wide receiver
Josh Huff and running back/wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas, but they
have managed to replace skill players in the past.

Ohio State came close winning the Big Ten title, losing it to Michigan
State. The Buckeyes were 24-0 under Urban Meyer prior to that loss and
they followed that up with a 40-35 setback against the Clemson Tigers in
the Orange Bowl.

Keep in mind that winning the 2015 BCS National Championship will be
tougher, as the teams will need an extra victory with college football
ditching the BCS for a four-team playoff.

Below are the complete odds to win the 2015 BCS National Championship at America’s Bookie:

Alabama +550

Arizona +8500

Arizona State +3000
