Gamecocks back in Tourney for 1st Time Since 2004


The Marquette Golden Eagles and the South Carolina Gamecocks cap off March Madness action in the South Regional on Friday when they meet at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

South Carolina (22-10) will play in its first NCAA Tournament since 2004. This is the ninth time overall in the tournament. Marquette is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2013.

Oddsmakers opened the Gamecocks as -1.5-point favorites versus the Golden Eagles, while the game's total opened at 146.5.
