The fans at BOK Center will see two underachieving teams tonight when the Michigan State Spartans and the Miami Hurricanes meet seats on Friday. This NCAA Tournament matchup could be the start of a redemption, of sorts, of teams expected to compete for their conference championships.

Michigan State is making its 20th consecutive appearance. The Spartans finished lower in the Big Ten standings than usual. They were in a four-way tie for fifth, but they're still a team that teams don't want to see in March.
