NBA Playoffs Tuesday Free Pick- Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Game 5

NBA Playoffs 2018

Bucks Looking to Take Lead in NBA Playoffs; Tied 2-2

The opening round best-of-seven NBA Playoffs clash between the No. 7 Milwaukee Bucks and the No. 2 Boston Celtics moves to Game 5. This Tuesday night matchup has a 7 p.m. start on NBA TV from TD Garden.

BetAnySports has opened the Celtics as 2.5-point home favorites with the total set at 204 points. The line is now Boston -4 and the total is 203.

Home court has prevailed in this series to make it a best-of-three showdown. Milwaukee lost the series opener by six points as a four-point road underdog. They suffered a double-digit loss in Game 2 as a one-point underdog. Two victories on their home court have evened the series.

Sunday’s 104-102 win as six-point favorites has the Bucks right back in the thick of things. This tight Eastern Conference clash is what was expected with the upstart Bucks and injured Celtics. The Bucks are 1-3 against the spread in the first four games. Each of the contests has gone OVER BetAnySports’ closing line.

Milwaukee’s chances to get a win on the road this Tuesday night hinge on the play of forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. He scored a team-high 27 points in Sunday’s Game 4 win. He boosted his scoring average in this series to 27.8 points per game.

He has also led the way in rebounds (8.5) and assists (6.5). Khris Middleton has been an important part of the offense as well with 25.5 PPG.

Celtics Looking to Take Lead in NBA Playoffs Series

Boston blew an excellent opportunity to take control of this series in Sunday’s road loss. They return to TD Garden for Game 5 with a 6-1 mark both SU and ATS in its last seven home games. The total has gone OVER BetAnySports’ closing line in the Celtics last six contests at home.

Jaylen Brown has stepped up his game in this series as Boston’s leading scorer with 23.8 PPG. He is just one of five players averaging at least 14 points through the first four games. The Celtics are shooting 44.2 percent from the field with a sketchy 27.5 field goal average from three-point range. That is dragging this percentage down.

It was the second 30-point effort of the series for Brown. He made five 3-pointers in two of the past three games. Point guard Terry Rozier came back to earth. He averaged 9.5 points on 5-of-19 shooting in the two losses in Milwaukee. He averaged 23 points over the first two games when he badly outplayed Bucks veteran Eric Bledsoe.

Their normally stout play on defense has been lapse at times with a points-allowed average of 108.3.

I will continue to ride the home team in this series SU, but when it comes to betting on Tuesday’s matchup, I am going with the OVER on BetAnySports’ 203-point total line as my top play.
