The Baltimore Orioles and the Detroit Tigers on Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park. The Tigers look to follow up their four-homer performance as they vie for a three-game sweep.

Oddsmakers opened the Orioles as -135-moneyline favorites versus the Tigers, while the game's total opened at 9.
Tigers Needed to Come From Behind
The Detroit Tigers answered a five-game losing streak, along with multiple rain-outs with consecutive victories this week. The wins over the reeling Orioles came at a great time. With these losses the Orioles have now have dropped five in a row themselves.
Detroit needed two comebacks after squandering a 2-1 lead in the eighth on Wednesday. John Hicks hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth. It gave the Tigers a 5-4 lead. The Orioles tied it in the top of the ninth and Dixon Machado blasted a walk-off homer for a 6-5 victory.
The Tigers have scored 31 of their 59 runs this season in the seventh inning or later.
It's amazing Zimmermann avoided a trip to the disabled list after his last outing. He suffered a right jaw bruise when he was hit square in the face by a Jason Kipnis' come-backer at Cleveland last week. Zimmermann was forced to leave the game after seven pitches.
Zimmermann is 3-4 with a 5.84 ERA in eight starts against the Orioles.
Cobb Looks to Get on Track Against Tigers
Cobb had a Baltimore debut he would love to forget. He allowed eight runs, seven earned, and 10 hits in 3 2/3 innings at Boston on Saturday.
Cobb signed a four-year contract worth nearly $60 million late in spring training. That forced him to play catch-up. He turned down a qualifying offer from Tampa Bay in November. That move made him an unrestricted free agent. He had a 12-10 record and 3.66 ERA last season. He's 2-1 with a 2.41 ERA in six starts against Detroit.
The Orioles showed some signs of life offensively on Wednesday. They had four runs in the last two innings. They scored a total of 11 runs in their previous six losses.
Baltimore has struggled to a 3-9 mark away from Camden Yards. They look to avert a fruitless six-game road trip on Thursday. After today they will have for 10-game home-stand.
Manny Machado carries a six-game hitting streak. He is 8-for-24 with four doubles and four RBI's during the streak.
