Celtics Look to Close out Sixers at Home in Game 5

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics meet at TD Garden in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinal matchup. The 76ers extended the series at least one more game by winning Game 4 in Philly. No team has ever come from a 0-3 deficit to advance.

Oddsmakers opened the 76ers as -1.5-point favorites versus the Celtics, while the game's total opened at 204. The line is not Boston -1 and the total is unchanged.

Celtics Suffer Another Injury

The injury-plagued Celtics suffered another one in the game. Shane Larkin injured his left shoulder running into Joel Embiid. This late information just came in on Larkin from ScoresandStats.com

Larkin suffered a sprained shoulder when he collided with Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid in Game 4.

Stevens said imaging tests appeared to indicate that Larkin won't require surgery. He said Larkin's shoulder is "very, very sore."

T.J. McConnell Shines For Philly

Inserting T.J. McConnell into the starting lineup provided the spark that the Sixers needed. They stayed alive with a convincing victory in Philadelphia Monday night. He provided the tone for Monday's win by making 9-of-12 from the field. He did not committing any turnovers.
