Ray is winless since June 27
Robbie Ray (3-2, 4.73 ERA, 1.46 WHIP) allowed one earned run on five hits (one home run). He had four walks with seven strikeouts over five innings to get a no-decision in a 4-3 loss against the Mariners last Saturday.
Ray just couldn't find the strike zone. Throwing only 56 of his 104 pitches for strikes was a problem. He has issued at least four walks in four of his last five starts. The left-hander is winless in his last 10 starts and he's posted a 4.34 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP in his last seven appearances.
