San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs suffered 121-108 road loss against the Portland Trail Blazers last Saturday. DeMar DeRozan led the way with 28 points and nine assists. Bryn Forbes added 17 points in the setback.
San Antonio shot 42.0 percent from the floor but they let Portland make 53.6 percent of their field goals. They allowed them to shoot 15 of 32 from beyond the arc.
DeMar DeRozan is averaging a team-high 28.0 points per game. No other Spurs player scores more than 16.5 points per game.
The Spurs are averaging 110.0 points per game (19th in the NBA). They grab 46.0 rebounds per game (15th), dish out 25.5 assists per game (9th) and allow 114.5 points per game (18th).
DeRozan also leads San Antonio with 6.5 assists and 1.0 assists. LaMarcus Aldridge averages 16.5 points and team-bests with 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks.
Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers lost back-to-back games and the road to their first win will be little more difficult than expected. They will be without Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram. They are suspended following their roles in an altercation against Chris Paul in Saturday's 124-115 loss against the Rockets.
Rondo received a three-game while Ingram was suspended four games.
LeBron James led the Lakers with 24 points, five rebounds and five assists against the Rockets. He was just 1-for-7 from beyond the arc. JaVale McGee had a solid game with 16 points, six rebounds and five blocks in just 20 minutes.
Los Angeles made just 25.0 percent of their 3-point attempts (8-for-32).
The Lakers are averaging 117.0 points per game (8th in the NBA), they grab 45.0 rebounds per game (18th). They dish out 25.5 assists per game (9th) and allow 126.0 points per game (27th).
Lebron James leads the Lakers with 25.0 points and 8.5 rebounds. Josh Hart averages 15.5 points per game while shooting 52.0 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from beyond the arc.

NBA Trends:
The Under is:
20-8-1 in San Antonio's last 29 road games against a team with a home winning percentage of less than .400
11-5 in Los Angeles' last 16 home games against a team with a losing road record
4-1 in Los Angeles' last five home games against a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400
These two teams are struggling defensively but the Lakers will step things up a notch on that end of the court, putting the clamps on DeRozan while the Spurs will likely try to slow the pace after getting crushed by the Trail Blazers last time out.
