The Portland Trail Blazers tee-off against the Golden State Warriors
this Tuesday night at Oracle Arena in Game 2 of this best-of-seven
matchup in the Western Conference Semifinals. BetAnySports
has listed the Warriors as 10-point home favorites and the total for
the game has been set at 213.5. Bettors have bet the game down to where
the Warriors are now a 9.5 point favorite and the total is down to a
solid 213. Tip-off is slated for 10:30 p.m. (ET) and the game will be
broadcast nationally on TNT.

Portland got past the heavily depleted Los Angeles Clippers in six games
to advance to this round, but a painfully slow start in Game 1 of this
series led to a 118-106 loss as a 9.5-point road underdog on BetAnySports’ closing line.
The Trail Blazers are now just 3-10 against the spread in their last 10
games. The total in that game went OVER the 210.5-point line and it has
gone OVER in their last three contests.

Damian Lillard has been the team’s leading scorer all season long with
an average of 25.1 points per game. Despite the fact that he scored 30
points in a losing effort in Game 1, he is going to have to do a much
better job shooting the ball after going just 8-for 26 from the field.
Portland was the sixth-highest scoring team in the league during the
regular season with 105.1 PPG, but it fell to 20th in points allowed (104.3).

Golden State continues to press-on without the help of Stephen Curry.
While there is a possibility that the league’s MVP could return to the
lineup in Game 3 of this series, his team continues to light-up the
scoreboard without him. The Warriors have scored 114 points or more in
each of their last three games and Klay Thompson lit things up this past
Sunday with a game-high 37 points. Draymond Green has also helped to
fill the void with 14.8 points and 10.2 rebounds in the postseason.

Curry missed two games of the Warriors’ opening playoff series against
Houston with an ankle injury and another game with an ailing knee, but
Golden State was still able to get past the Rockets in just five games.
It is now 7-1 both SU and ATS in its last eight outings and while the
total did go OVER in Game 1 of this series it had stayed UNDER BetAnySports’ closing line in six of its previous eight outings.

The Warriors continue to prove that they can win big even with Curry out
of the lineup and I like their chances to keep things rolling at home
this Tuesday night with another big win both SU and ATS.
