Biggest Win This Year: When I think of my biggest victory in my handicapping career, picking the Giants to beat the Patriots outright in the Super Bowl has to be at the top of the list, but my biggest win so far this season had to have been my 10 unit play on the money line of Hawaii to beat Nevada outright in the middle of October as a 7-point underdog. I have played on and against Hawaii in a lot of games so far this season, the reason for this is because I see a ton of value in the way they play the game. For example, in the game versus Boise State, the value was against Hawaii, but like in the game I just mentioned, Hawaii was playing at home, which is usually a huge advantage for them and they ended up winning the game outright.

Sports Handicapping Philosophy: For me, it comes down to formulas, statistics and tons of research. Picking games is how I make a living, so you when you follow my plays you know you get picks each and every time that has gone through tons and tons of filters and research to make sure you, my client, gets the percentages put in your favor. Before a line comes out for any sporting event, both sides have a fifty-fifty chance of winning the game; my job is to make sure once the line comes out, all of my clients get a better than 50% chance of taking advantage of a certain spread or total. My expert plays come from many different facets of the game and that is what differentiates me from other sports handicappers.

NFL Week 6 Betting Previews-Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens

Point spread: Baltimore -7.5

Over/Under: 45

The Houston Texans head east this week for a Sunday afternoon showdown with the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in an AFC tilt between two division-leading teams. Game time is set for a 4:05 (p.m.) start and it will be broadcast regionally on CBS.

Houston will be looking to bounce back from a25-20 loss to Oakland as a 4.5-point home favorite in a game it let slip away down the stretch. The Texans are now 3-2 both straight-up and against the spread and tied with Tennessee atop the AFC South. The total stayed ?under? the 48.5-point line against the Raiders and has now stayed ?under? in four of five their games this season.

The main concern for this team is a rash of injuries to some of its best players on both sides of the ball. Linebacker Mario Williams has been lost for the season with a torn muscle in his chest and wide receiver Andre Johnson remains doubtful with a strained hamstring. Quarterback Matt Schaub is also a bit nicked-up but should be ready to go by Sunday.

Baltimore should be well-rested and raring to go after coming off a bye. It went into its bye week with a huge 34-17 win over the New York Jets as a five-point home favorite to run its record to 3-1 SU and ATS. The total has gone ?over? in all four of its games.

The Ravens have vaulted to the top of the AFC North behind an offense that is ranked sixth in the NFL in scoring with an average of 29.8 points a game to go along with a defense that is ranked first in points allowed; giving up an average of just 14.2 points a game. Cornerback Jimmy Smith is still out with an ankle injury, but the Ravens should get wide receiver Lee Evans back after missing two games with an ankle injury of his own.

The Texans are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as road underdogs and the total has gone ?over? in five of their last seven road games. The Ravens are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a bye week and 4-1 ATS in their last five games as favorites. The total has gone ?over? in three of their last four home games.

This game is shaping-up as a seven-point Baltimore victory, so grab the Texans and the half-point to squeeze out a win ATS.

The Pick: Baltimore 24 Houston 17

Recharged Cowboys Face Dominant Patriots on NFL Odds Board

A cross-conference tilt will pit two of the game?s highest profile quarterbacks against each other this Sunday, as the New England Patriots host the Dallas Cowboys as favorites on the NFL odds board.

Fresh off a pair of wins, and with a 4-1 record, it's hard not to lean towards Tom Brady and the Pats over a Cowboys team struggling to keep Tony Romo on the field. Unless the bye week in Week 5 was enough to nurse the hobbled quarterback completely back to health, we may see some similar themes continue in Week 6.

According to Bodog?s online sportsbook, the Cowboys have just 30/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl. Had it not been for the constant concern over the man under center, or Dallas' early sub-par record against less-than-impressive opponents, the mark might be slightly higher, but even when the Cowboys have won, it hasn't been convincing.

In Dallas' two victories (over San Francisco and Washington), they held a combined five-point advantage (with a net point differential of -2 through Week 5), meanwhile, the Patriots have rattled off four touchdown-or-more victories in five contest for a point differential of 46. There's a reason they have 4/1 odds on the NFL futures board while Dallas struggles to stay relevant.

If the Cowboys can somehow solve Brady while successfully keeping Romo in one piece, a victory could essentially redefine their season - especially in the unpredictable NFC East where even the Philadelphia Eagles are 1-4.

Michigan Rivalry Draws Fans to College Football Odds Board

A heated Big Ten rivalry has college football fans in Michigan on the edge of their seats as the Michigan State Spartans prepare to host the nearby Wolverines this Saturday. The two programs, each ranked in the Associated Press? Top 25, clash on the NCAA odds board with undefeated conference records.

For MSU, the Week 7 battle will be the second in a string of four consecutive midseason tests against formidable Big Ten opponents. They narrowly escaped a run-in with Ohio State the last time out, and will play both Wisconsin and Nebraska in addition to the Wolverines before the month of October is done.

Can the No. 23-ranked club save the momentum of their season that looked all but drained following a Week 3 loss to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish? The Spartans may not be the favorites on the college football lines consistently over the course of the next few weeks, but a big victory over a state rival could significantly improve the situation.

As always, a short hop on the I-96 over, the Wolverines will be looking for ways to spoil their opponents' efforts.

With Denard Robinson at the height of his multi-threat display, it may simply be a matter of time. Can the Spartans not only beat the college football odds, but a quarterback with nearly just as many touchdowns on the ground (6) as he has in the air (8)?
