NHL Odds: Savvy Penguins Seek 2-0 Lead on Sharks - Handicappers Hideaway

How valuable is experience in the Stanley Cup Final? The Pittsburgh
Penguins have it, and they took advantage of the San Jose Sharks Monday
night, grabbing an early 1-0 lead in their series by beating San Jose
3-2 as –130 home favourites. Game 2 takes place Wednesday night in
Pittsburgh at 8 PM ET on CBC and NBCSN. Sidney Crosby has been working
tirelessly, as the leader he is, with the younger players on the Pens
and it is clearly paying off. Oddsmakers have the Pens as a -130
favorite on the moneyline while the Under 5.5 is -140.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

The Penguins, who won their third Stanley Cup in 2009, came into this
series as –120 title favourites over San Jose, who brushed aside their
long history of playoff futility to make their first-ever Final. Even
after Monday's loss, the Sharks still have the best goal differential
during this postseason at 1.11 goals per game, and the most profit
against the puck line at +7.65 betting units on a record of 12-7 ATS.

But it was Pittsburgh (9-10 ATS, +5.22 units) that drew first blood in
Game 1. After coughing up an early two-goal lead, the Penguins scored
the winner late in the third period when Nick Bonino scored his fourth
of the playoffs. However, the Pens did lose Bryan Rust to an “upper-body
injury” after he was checked in the head by Patrick Marleau. Rust is
considered day-to-day for now.

NHL Odds: Sharks Put Blues on Brink for Game 6 - Handicappers Hideaway

The San Jose Sharks have a 25-year history of playoff frustration in the
books, but they can exorcise some of those ghosts by beating the St.
Louis Blues this Wednesday (9 PM ET, CBC and NBCSN). The Sharks took a
3-2 lead in their Western Conference final Monday night, coming from
behind twice and scoring two empty-net goals to down the Blues 6-3 as
very slim –105 road dogs. Oddsmakers currently have the Sharks as
155-favorites on the moneyline and the total is at 5 Over (-125).

Bet on hockey at Bovada and get a free 100% bonus.

St. Louis decided to go with Jake Allen (.920 save percentage during the
regular season) between the pipes for Game 5, after Allen took over for
Brian Elliott (.930 SV%) in Saturday's Game 4 and helped secure a 6-3
victory for the Blues at +135 on the closing line. However, Allen
stopped just 21 of 25 shots on Monday. Elliott is considered probable at
press time to return for Game 6.

The Sharks have made the Conference Finals three times since joining the
NHL in 1991, but they have yet to play for the Stanley Cup. New head
coach Peter DeBoer could change all that Wednesday night; DeBoer led the
2011-12 New Jersey Devils to the Cup final in his first season in
Newark.

NHL Odds: Young Goalies for Lightning, Penguins - Handicappers Hideaway

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Pittsburgh Penguins are both relying on
young goaltenders to get them to the Stanley Cup Final. In the case of
the Lightning, it could come back to haunt them. Andrei Vasilevskiy
(.910 save percentage during the regular season) gave up the winning
goal 40 seconds into overtime Monday night, as the Penguins (–225 at
home) prevailed to even their series at 1-1 heading into Wednesday's
Game 3 at the Amalie Arena. Game time is 8 PM ET on CBC and NBCSN.
Oddsmakers have the Penquins as -130 moneylline favorites while the
total is at 5.

Bet on hockey at Bovada and get a free 100% bonus.

The 21-year-old Vasilevskiy actually played quite well in Game 2, making
38 saves in his first start of the playoffs. But the sophomore back-up
has a tall task replacing Ben Bishop (.926 SV%), who left Game 1 of this
series with a leg injury that appeared quite serious at the time.
Bishop might be able to return later in this series; however, his
availability for Game 3 is in serious doubt.

The Penguins, meanwhile, have enjoyed tremendous success behind
20-year-old Matt Murray (.930 SV%). He stepped in earlier this year for
injured veteran Marc-Andre Fleury (.921 SV%) and played so brilliantly,
he's the new No. 1 goalie in Pittsburgh.

After trading punches in their Western Conference semifinal, the St.
Louis Blues and Dallas Stars will meet in the decisive Game 7 this
Wednesday (8 PM ET, NBCSN). Dallas staved off elimination Monday night
with a 3-2 victory in Game 6, cashing in as +155 away dogs despite just
14 shots on goal. The road team has won four times in this series –
twice in St. Louis, and twice in Dallas. St. Louis is currently listed
as a -115 favorite on the moneyline and the total is sitting at 5.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

The big question on everyone's mind: Will Tyler Seguin suit up for the
Stars? He hasn't played since Game 2 of the opening round versus the
Minnesota Wild, when Seguin (33 goals, 73 points during the regular
season) was ineffective in his return from a partially torn Achilles
tendon. It remains unclear whether he'll be available for Game 7.
Veteran fourth-liner Travis Moen is also iffy for Wednesday's game with
an undisclosed injury.

The Blues are unusually healthy for this time of year, but with Monday's
loss, they fall to 1-3 in elimination games. The lone victory was the
game that counted the most: Game 7 of the first round, when they beat
the defending Stanley Cup-champion Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 as +100 home
dogs.

There's one more game left in the first round of the Stanley Cup
Playoffs. The Nashville Predators will visit the Anaheim Ducks Wednesday
night (10 PM ET, NBCSN) for Game 7 of their Western Conference
quarterfinal; Nashville extended the series Monday with a 3-1 victory,
as Pekka Rinne made 26 of 27 saves for the Preds.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

The Ducks (46-25-11 during the regular season) were expected to make
short work of Nashville (41-27-14) after winning their fourth straight
Pacific Division title, all under head coach Bruce Boudreau. Anaheim was
available at +800 on the Stanley Cup futures market going into the
playoffs, compared to +2500 for the Predators. But Nashville has knotted
this series despite getting outscored 17-12.

The Preds might have already eliminated Anaheim had forward Craig Smith
(21 goals, 37 points) not gotten injured early in Game 3, after
Nashville won the first two games at the Honda Center. Smith returned
Monday and played right wing on the second line with Calle Jarnkrok (16
goals, 30 points) on the left and Mike Ribeiro (seven goals, 50 points)
in the middle; Smith also took his usual turn on the power play, logging
14:23 of total ice time.

NHL Odds: Panthers Need a Win in Brooklyn - Handicappers Hideaway

The Atlantic Division-champion Florida Panthers (47-26-9) will be on the
brink of elimination if they don't beat the New York Islanders
(45-27-10) Wednesday night. The Islanders have taken a 2-1 lead over
Florida in this Eastern Conference quarterfinal, winning Game 1 as +140
road dogs and Game 3 as –115 home favourites. Game 4 at Barclays Center
starts at 7 PM ET. Oddsmakers have the Islanders as -110 favorites while
the total is at 5.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

Even though New York has the advantage, this has been a very close
matchup, with each team scoring 10 goals after three games. That's still
an impressive performance by the Islanders; they were the underdogs
going into the first round, posting a decent plus-16 goal differential
during the regular season compared to Florida's plus-36. The Panthers
won their season series 2-1, outscoring New York 10-6.

The Islanders have also done very well considering they don't have
forwards Anders Lee (15 goals, 36 points) and Mikhail Grabovski (nine
goals, 25 points) available for the first round. Lee suffered a broken
left leg earlier this month, while Grabovski is out indefinitely with
concussion-like symptoms. Meanwhile, Panthers centre Vincent Trocheck
(25 goals, 53 points) could return from his broken foot in either Game 4
or Game 5.

This could be the best series in the entire Stanley Cup playoffs. The
defending champion Chicago Blackhawks (47-26-9) have drawn the St. Louis
Blues (49-24-9) in the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Game 1 is
Wednesday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, starting at 9:30
PM ET on NBCSN. Oddsmakers have the Blues as a -125 favorite on the
moneyline in Game #1 and the total is sitting at 5.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

Although the Blues finished the 2015-2016 regular season with the better
record, Chicago skates into the playoffs with shorter odds on the
Stanley Cup futures market. The Hawks are the second-favorites at +800
(along with LA, Anaheim, Dallas and Pittsburgh), a step ahead of St.
Louis at +1000. These two teams faced each other five times during the
regular season; the Blues won three games, with the total split evenly
at 2-2-1.

Chicago will be without defenseman Duncan Keith (nine goals, 43 points)
for Wednesday's opener. The two-time Norris Trophy winner has one game
left to go in his six-game suspension for hitting Minnesota Wild forward
Charlie Coyle in the face with his stick. The Hawks also have a number
of players listed as questionable for Game 1, including top-line centre
Artem Anisimov (20 goals, 42 points) and second-line right wing Marian
Hossa (13 goals, 33 points). The Blues will have all their key players

Will an untimely, late-season collapse prevent the Boston Bruins from
making the playoffs? Their fate could be decided Thursday night (7 PM
ET, NBCSN) when they host the Detroit Red Wings in a pivotal Atlantic
Division clash. The Red Wings have won six of their last nine games to
seize third place from Boston, who went 2-7 during the same span. This
will be Game No. 81 of the regular season for both clubs.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

The Bruins (41-30-8) have performed better overall than the Wings
(40-28-11) this year, posting a plus-13 goal differential to Detroit's
minus-11. However, Boston netminder Tuukka Rask (.915 save percentage)
has been inconsistent this year, and the defense in front of him has
been thinned out by lower-body injuries to Kevan Miller and Dennis
Seidenberg. Both are listed as day-to-day.

Detroit (40-28-11) is making this late playoff push with Jimmy Howard
(.906 SV%) taking over the No. 1 goalie spot and Petr Mrazek (.920 SV%)
settling for back-up duties. This will be the second of back-to-back
contests for the Wings; at press time, Howard is projected to start both
games, but that could certainly change as we get closer to the opening
face-off.

For over 46 years and only the second time in history, the NHL’s Stanley
Cup is guaranteed to go to an American team with all seven Canadian
teams eliminated from the Playoffs – and while it is a shame that the
inventors of the Sport are shut out of the winning race, it’s more of a
shame that we never played any spread betting points and made a killing on it ... although as a Yank I’m slightly biased to that order.

With over a week and a half to go from the main season, the last
remaining team with a chance – the Senators – were eliminated as the
Flyers beat the Capitals. While many of Canada’s large fan base are
being reminded that there are several major Canadian players still in
the tournament, ‘including Chicago captain Jonathan Toews, Los Angeles rearguard Drew Doughty and Pittsburgh centre Sidney Crosby,’ there is a sense from many that this does little to console them in the wake of the bigger picture.

However – let’s take a look at who has the most players on their team rosters from Canada:
  • The Panthers – Fielding a whopping 16 Canadian players – however 5 are currently injured
  • The Flyers – With 15 Canadian players on their books, they are a good alternative
  • The Ducks – Another team with 15 on the list, they could carry the flag for the fans
Alternatively fans can just root against the teams that they hate
most and therefore support a ‘Wild card’ pick which would certainly make
the games a little more calm to watch.

So does this look like a one-off or the start of a serious decline for
the Canucks in the NHL? Last year there were 5 teams from Canada that
qualified for the post-season playoffs, and whilst the Chicago Blackhawks were the eventual victors
and the previous years had just one or two Canadian teams, this was
certainly not indicative of the events that have surfaced in this years’
Stanley Cup tournament. That doesn’t mean that we aren’t heading for a
downturn of teams in the Cup, just that we could face this situation
again if the Canadian teams don’t buck up their performances.

For more news on the Stanley Cup – check out our dedicated resources on site or get in touch with any tips and requests and we will do our best to get them live on the site as soon as possible.

The Philadelphia Flyers are on the verge of rescuing what looked like a
lost season. At press time, they're holding down the last Wild Card
berth in the Eastern Conference playoffs at 37-25-13. Philadelphia's
next game is this Wednesday (8 PM ET, NBCSN) against the best team in
the NHL, the 54-16-5 Washington Capitals. Oddsmaker have the Flyers as a
-115 moneyline favorite and the total is sitting at 5.

Bet on hockey at Bodog and get a free 100% bonus.

The Flyers have won eight of their 13 games this month despite having to
go with Steve Mason (.918 save percentage) in goal while Michal
Neuvirth (.925 SV%) was ill with a stomach virus – and after Neuvirth
tore his meniscus the day he returned. Mason has played reasonably well,
though, and aside from Neuvirth and defenseman Michal Del Zotto (torn
wrist ligaments), Philadelphia is relatively healthy for a change.

Washington is projected to start No. 1 netminder Braden Holtby (.923
SV%) on Wednesday. Holtby has enjoyed yet another strong season for the
Caps after finishing fourth in last year's Vezina Trophy race. He'll be
joined by winger TJ Oshie (24 goals, 22 assists), who returned to action
with a power-play goal in Monday's 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue
Jackets (+200 away) after missing two games with an undisclosed illness.

Breaking DFS News: StarsDraft Pulling Out of All But 4 States!! - Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland and New Jersey - Handicappers Hideaway

https://www.starsdraft.com/affiliate?code=prhd9e10LGw2

Update to List of Accepted States

Following a review of recent daily fantasy sports developments within a
number of jurisdictions, we regret to inform you that StarsDraft is now
limiting its operations to a select list of states. Starting today, only
players physically located in Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland and New
Jersey will be able to participate in our fantasy sports contests.

Withdrawing Your Funds

As part of Amaya Inc., one of the world's largest and most regulated
online gaming brands, we at StarsDraft pride ourselves on best practices
with respect to compliance, security, responsible gaming and the
protection of player funds. Unlike many other fantasy sports operators,
Amaya ensures that all of its brands hold end users’ deposits, winnings
and bonuses in trust accounts through which money is fully protected
from company operating liabilities.

As such, your full balance is and will remain available for withdrawal at your earliest convenience.

To thank you for your support of the StarsDraft brand, we are making the following changes to our system to help assist players with their withdrawal requests:

1. We have removed any minimum withdraw restrictions;

2. We have removed any Bankroll Builder promotional withdraw restrictions;

3. We are converting all loyalty points into cash;

4. We are converting all open tickets and non-deposit promotion tickets
into cash (this does not include Bankroll Builder or First Down deposit
tickets);

5. We have removed the minimum check withdrawal restrictions.

Any winnings and subsequent tickets or loyalty points earned after
tonight's NFL payouts will also be converted to cash following the above
structure.

For more information on this change, please click here.

A Regulated Daily Fantasy Sports Environment

The recent incidents involving the practices of certain leading
companies in DFS demonstrate that the current self-regulatory practices
have fallen short.

We strongly believe that there is a real need for state regulation and
licensing of DFS, and until such time, we will not be operating in any
other states than the four mentioned above which already have existing
and clearly defined daily fantasy sports guidance. We believe that this
is the responsible approach for our company and encourage others in the
industry to consider the same measures in order to ensure the future
growth and viability of daily fantasy sports in the U.S.

We apologize for the abrupt change in policy, we will actively monitor
ongoing developments within DFS and we look forward to working with all
states interested in implementing set guidelines for the operation of
daily fantasy sports in their jurisdiction.

HH Would Like to Welcome ApuesTaEntodo.com to our Stable of Quality Online Sportsbooks - Handicappers Hideaway

ApuestaEnTodo Online Sportsbook

HH Would Like to Welcome ApuesTaEntodo.com to our Stable of Quality Online Sportsbooks

Apuestaentodo.com
has been a private member, invitation only, sportsbook since 2008. We
first started focusing on Latin America and South America (hence the
name) and slowly expanded over the years to start including North
America. In 2015 we have decided to open our doors to selected forums
and outlets to attract quality players. We dont want to blow smoke you
with we have pockets as deep as the major players. We just want to
provide you with an enjoyable gambling experince where you can pay and
collect. There are very few quality outs that are North American facing
now that are not owned, in part or in full, by a few major sportsbooks
so we wanted to offer a smaller book that is independent, yet stable. We
pride ourselves on good customer service, a strong product, and reduced
juice. We offer all sports betting options as well as a live dealer,
table game, casino and track odds on horses. You will always get a 10%
bonus on your deposit, and if you mention Handicappers Hideaway you will
get an additional 10% sign up. So thats 20% plus reduced juice. The
owners behing our sportsbook have been in online gambling industry since
it’s inception and have worked and/or owned parts of other top
sportsbooks you have most likely played at. We believe with our
experience, quality lines (we don’t just move with the Don Best Screen
lilke other books), quality software and wagering options you will be
pleasantly surprised.

We were excited to open our services to Handicappers Hideaway as many
of our employees and the owners have worked with Dirty since the early
2000’s and Contest Guru the last few years. They run a small, yet solid
forum that doesn’t play the games that the other forums do. Most forum
traffic is not worth having, but we know from expperience that the
players at Handicappers Hideaway support their sponsors, they actually
are gamblers and care about their sports wagering experience. In turn
this allows us to sponsor great contests and offer reduced juice to the
players from here. That is why we were more than happy to Sponsor the
14th Annual NFL Handicapping Classic that the forum is running this year
and by chipping in at least $10,000 in prize money. We look forward to a
great relationship with the posters of this forum and we promise we
will offer you a first class online sports gambling experience. Don’t
forget to mention Handicappers Hideaway for your extra 10% Bonus.

Thank You,

AuestaEnTodo.com Owners
