The Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers meet at Quicken Loans
Arena on Wednesday and the Pistons try to even the series at one-game a
piece.

Oddsmakers currently have the Cavaliers listed as 10½-point favorites versus the Pistons, while the game's total is sitting at 202.

In their last action, Cleveland was a 106-101 winner at home against the
Pistons. They failed to cover the -11-point spread as favorites, while
the combined score (207) was profitable news for OVER bettors.

Last time out for Detroit, they were a 106-101 loser as they battled the
Cavaliers on the road. The Pistons covered in the match as a +11-point
underdog, while 207 combined points moved the game OVER for totals
bettors.

Detroit:

Team record: 44-39 SU,43-37-3 ATS

Detroit is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games

Detroit is 10-5 SU in its last 15 games

The Miami Heat and the Detroit Pistons clash for the second Tuesday in a row and this time around BetAnySports
has opened the Pistons as three-point home favorites. This follows the
Heat’s 107-89 victory last Tuesday as 4.5-point home favorites. The
total stayed UNDER the closing 202-point line in that game and it has
been set at 205.5 points this time around . After overnight betting the
line now sits at Detroit -2 against the spread and the total is sitting
at 201. Tip-off from the Palace for this Tuesday’s rematch is set for
7:30 p.m.

The Heat are still battling Atlanta and Boston for the No. 3 seed in the
East with two games left to play in the regular season. Including last
week’s win against the Pistons, Miami is 3-1 both straight-up and
against the spread in its last four games and the total has stayed UNDER
BetAnySports’ closing line in six of its last nine contests. The Heat
will have to finish things up on the road where they are 19-20 both SU
and ATS this season.

Hassan Whiteside returned to Miami’s starting lineup in the team’s
118-96 victory against Orlando on Sunday as a 9.5-point favorites and he
made an immediate impact with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Dwyane Wade
added 17 points in the winning cause with four of five Miami starters
accounting for 74 of the total 118 points scored. The Heat are ranked 23rd in the NBA in scoring with 100.2 points per game, but they jump to fifth in points allowed (98.5).

Detroit will be making its first trip to the playoffs since the
2008/2009 season after clinching a berth with last Friday’s 112-99
victory against Washington as a six-point home favorite on BetAnySports’
closing line. The Pistons have now won nine of their last 12 games SU
and they are 3-1 ATS in their last four contests. The total has gone
OVER in their last two games after staying UNDER in their previous four
outings.

Reggie Jackson is one of the main reasons why Detroit is finally headed
back to the postseason. He put-up 39 points in Friday’s win over the
Wizards and on the year he is averaging a team-high 18.8 PPG. The
Pistons are averaging 101.9 points a game and they climb all the way to
third in the NBA in rebounds with 46.3 a game. Defensively, they are
allowing an average of 101.3 PPG.

While there is still something on the line for both teams in this
contest, I like Detroit’s chances to avenge last Tuesday’s loss with a
SU win on its home court this time around that also covers BetAnySports’ current two-point betting line.

The Washington Wizards and the Detroit Pistons will batle on Friday

game lead over them for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

Oddsmakers currently have the Pistons listed as 6-point favorites versus the Wizards, while the game's total is sitting at 205.

Last time out for Detroit, they were a 108-104 winner as they battled
the Orlando Magic on the road. The Pistons covered in the matchup as a
+3-point underdog, while 212 combined points moved the game OVER for
totals bettors.

The Wizards were a 121-103 winner in their most recent outing at home
against the Brooklyn Nets. They covered the -11.5-point spread as
favorites, while the total score (224) made winners of OVER bettors.

Washington:

Team record: 38-40 SU,40-37-1 ATS

Washington is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Washington's last 9 games

The Detroit Pistons will continue their quest for a place in the NBA
postseason this Tuesday night as slight two-point road underdogs against
the Miami Heat. BetAnySports
has set the betting line for the total at 198 points and the 8 p.m.
(ET) tip from American Airlines Arena will be broadcast nationally on
TNT. Currently the line has risen to the Heat -4 while to total has been
hammered up to 202.

Detroit has gotten hot at the right time of the year with a straight-up
7-3 record over its last 10 games. It is now 41-36 overall after posting
a crucial 94-90 victory against rival Chicago (39-38) this past
Saturday to open-up a two-game lead over the Bulls for the eighth and
final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons covered as
three-point road underdogs on BetAnySports’ closing betting line in that
game and they are now 5-2 against the spread in their last seven
outings. The total stayed UNDER 206.5 and it has stayed UNDER in their
last three games.

Reggie Jackson has been Detroit’s leading scorer all season long with an
average of 18.5 points per game while shooting 43.2 percent from the
field. He also led the way against Chicago with a team-high 22 points
and all five starters ended that game in double figures. The Pistons
converted on 10-of-20 shots from three-point range to help pace the win.
Overall, they are ranked 17th in the NBA in scoring with 101.9 PPG and they improve to 12th at the other end of the court with a points-allowed average of 101.2 points.

Miami is caught in a three-way battle for the No. 3 seed in the East
with Atlanta and Boston. Right now it is a half-game back in fifth place
at 44-32 SU following Saturday’s 110-93 loss to Portland as a 6.5-point
road underdog on BetAnySports’ closing betting line. The total stayed
UNDER 209 in that game and it has stayed UNDER in four of their last
five games. Miami is now 6-4 SU in its last 10 games, but just 4-6 ATS.
It will return home from that three-game West Coast swing with a SU
25-13 (20-17-1 ATS) at American Airlines Arena this year.

The big question for Tuesday night’s matchup is the availability of the
Heat’s leading scorer Dwyane Wade (19.2 PPG). He has missed his last two
games with a sore back and he is currently listed as questionable.
Hassan Whiteside came off the bench to score a team-high 20 points in
Saturday’s game and Goran Dragic added 15 points in the losing cause.
Even if Wade can go, Miami’s best chance to win this game will still
hinge on its smothering defense. The Heat are ranked fourth in NBA in
points allowed this season (98.5).

I actually like Detroit on the road in this matchup in a SU win. The
team has been in great form lately and the Pistons actually need this
game much more than the Heat.

BetAnySports’ NBA TV’s Tuesday Pick of the Day

Sports Betting at BetAnySports

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons

BAS’ Current Line: Cavaliers are 8 1/2-point favorites and the total is sitting at 207 1/2.

The front-end of this Tuesday’s NBA TV’s double-header features a
classic Central Division tilt between the surging Cleveland Cavaliers
and the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills. BetAnySports
opened the Cavaliers as five-point road favorites against Detroit and
the betting odds for the total have been set at 203.5 which has now
risen to the lines posted above the article.

Cleveland has reestablished itself as a legitimate contender in the
Eastern Conference during its current six-game winning streak both
straight-up and against the spread. The return of LeBron James to the
starting lineup has rejuvenated a team that lost six straight games (SU
and ATS) earlier this month. The Cavaliers are now 25-20 SU on the year
with a 20-25 record ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in 28 of their first
45 games.

James put-up 34 points in Sunday’s impressive 108-98 victory against
Oklahoma City with Cleveland closing as a 3.5-point home favorite on
BetAnySports NBA betting odds for the game. He is averaging a team-high
26.2 points and 7.4 assists a game.

The Pistons are still buried in the East standings at 17-28 SU (20-25
ATS), but they did show some signs of life in a
late-December/early-January run in which they won seven straight games
both SU and ATS. Since that point they have cooled to a 5-5 record SU
and ATS in their last 10 outings. This past Sunday, they lost to Toronto
on the road 114-110 while covering as eight-point underdogs. Detroit
will now return to its home court where is has gone just 7-15 both SU
and ATS in 22 previous games this year.

To get a win against their division rivals this Tuesday night, the
Pistons are going to have to squeeze the most out of an offensive effort
that will have to adapt to the recent loss of Brandon Jennings with a
ruptured Achilles tendon . Defensively, they are ranked in the
bottom-third of the league in points allowed (100.2). Detroit did draw
first blood in this season’s series against the Cavs with a dominating
103-80 victory on Dec. 28 as a 7.5-point underdog on the road.

It would be hard to go against Cleveland in this matchup given its
current form. The road team in this series has now won six of the last
eight games SU and I like that play again on Tuesday with the Cavaliers
easily covering the eight points in a SU win on the road.

NBA Betting Preview - Detroit Pistons (27-47) vs. Indiana Pacers (52-23)

Not only does Indiana need to stop the bleeding, but they need treated
for shock as well. A miserable March performance (losing record for the
month) after looking like the best team in the East prior to March's
games and losses. Thankfully the Miami Heat didn't have a great month
of March either or the playoff seeding race for the top spot would've
been sealed already.

The division rival Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers are set to renew
hostilities on Wednesday when they meet at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Oddsmakers currently have the Pacers listed as 10½-point favorites versus the Pistons, while the game's total is sitting at 192.

Detroit won its last outing, a 116-111 result against the Bucks on March
31. The Pistons failed to cover in that game as a 7-point favorite,
while the 227 combined points took the game OVER the total.

The Pacers were a 103-77 loser in their most recent outing at home
against the Spurs. They failed to cover the 4.5-point spread as
underdogs, while the total score (180) made winners of UNDER bettors.

NBA Lines Odds — Miami Heat Have a Serious Shot at Three-peat!

Betting on Miami Heat Basketball

Miami Heat Have a Serious Shot at Three-peat!

The Miami Heat are coming off back to back NBA world
championships and are showing little evidence that they are going to go
away any time soon. While they are getting a run for their money by the
Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference race for the top seed in the
playoffs there is little doubt that they will be the favorites on the
NBA betting board to win it all again come the month of June.

Coming Up

The Miami Heat are at the Detroit Pistons On Friday, March 28th with a
game at the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, March 29th. They then open a 5
game home stand with a matchup against the Toronto Raptors on Monday,
March 31st.

Handicapper’s Notebook

The Miami Heat are always a potential overlay on the NBA betting
board, especially at home, as the 2 time defending world champions and
with the most recognizable player in the game with LeBron James. When
you couple that with the general public always preferring the power home
team and you have the recipe for costly overlays on the board and
handicappers must be vigilant about value assessments with teams such as
Miami. The Heat have paid out in just 7 out of their last 19 home games
with 5 out of their last 8 home games going over the total. Miami has
been a better success on the road as the general betting public is less
enamored with taking away teams, regardless of how good that they are,
and have paid out in 8 out of their last 12 away games as 5 out of their
last 9 away games have gone under the total. The Miami Heat have seen
improved board value as a favorite recently with just 3 losses against
the spread in their last 11 games as a chalk. One of the best plays in
sports on any betting board is a power dog and Miami has certainly
excelled in that role with 11 payouts in their last 16 games as a dog
with 7 out of their last 11 games as a dog going over the total.

Sixers in the Spotlight as NBA Betting Resumes

Nobody knows exactly what's been going on with the Philadelphia 76ers this season, but it's worked. Not only are they first in a half-decent Atlantic Division, they've hung with the Eastern Conference's best all year long. Now the success has started to translate over to the NBA betting line.

The biggest stars hit the hardwood.

Bet on the NBA at Bovada.

Have the first few months of the season been a legitimate demonstration of what the Sixers bring to the table? Though they squeezed into the playoffs last spring, the success they've enjoyed over the course of the 2011-12 campaign is something new.

This Tuesday, as players flock back to work after the All-Star Break, the Sixers will travel to Michigan for a run-in with the unpredictable Detroit Pistons. With 30/1 odds of winning the NBA championship - compared to Detroit's 500/1 mark - Philadelphia is the obvious favorite heading into the game, but that?s what makes the matchup so intriguing.

Not only is Detroit hard to gauge - they've beaten Orlando once and Boston twice, yet continue to sit in the basement - but the jury is still out on Philadelphia as a contender.

Though their record has pushed them to the top of their division, NBA odds makers and fans alike are reluctant to buy in to a club whose leading scorer averages just over 15 points per game.

Think you know how the future will unfold? Are the 76ers legit? Bet on the NBA with Bovada today.
