The Royals Send Ventura to the Hill to try to Even up the World Series at 1 Game Each

Betting on the 2014 MLB World Series

The fans at Kauffman Stadium will be treated to a interleague game
between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals when they
take their seats on Wednesday.

The Giants will give the ball to starter Jake Peavy in this one. Right hander Peavy is 8-13 this season with a 3.65 ERA.

Peavy’s opponent in this one will be Yordano Ventura. The Royals
right hander has a 3.31 ERA to go along with a 14-10 record this season.

Oddsmakers currently have the Royals listed as 114-moneyline
favorites versus the Giants, while the game’s total is sitting at 7.

Last time out for San Francisco, they were a 7-1 winner as they
battled the Royals on the road. Moneyline bettors who got the Giants at
-106 were rewarded, while the 8 combined runs moved the game OVER for
totals bettors.

Kansas City Rests Up for World Series

Betting on the 2014 MLB World Series

The Kansas City Royals have beat MLB odds all season long, and now
they find themselves waiting to see who their opponent will be in the
World Series. The Giants are -1000 to win the NL Pennant and the
Cardinals are +600.

Bet on baseball at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Kansas City was embroiled all season long in a head-to-head battle with
its Detroit Tigers rival, and the Royals eventually came up short in
their race for an American League division title. They settled for one
of the two league wild card berths.

The Royals’ dramatic Wild Card victory over the Oakland Athletics has
set the pace for their postseason. For years the Royals have developed a
solid young core of position players, and now the patience is paying
off. Eric Hosmer has an impressive .448 batting average and Mike
Moustakas has enjoyed four playoff home runs.

The Royals haven’t won a title since 1985. That was six years before
starting pitcher Yordano Ventura was even born. Now they’re favored
(-110) to win the World Series.

However, oddsmakers don’t seem overly confident in Kansas City, despite
the Royals’ early ALCS victory. The San Francisco Giants are +110 to win
the World Series even though there’s no guarantee they will even
survive the NLCS.

Odds to Win the 2014 MLB World Series, Series MVP and Exact Series Results

Betting on the 2014 MLB playoffs

“Despite the Giants battling the Dodgers all year for the NL
West they hung around in the mid teens in terms of Odds to Win the World
Series and we took quite a bit of bets on them throughout the season,
in fact almost double compared to the Royals even though they were as
high as 50-1 at one point. Even though this series is close with the
Royals as slight favorites I expect to be taking quite a bit on the
Giants game to game as we have seen throughout the playoffs.”

Betting on Steelers NFL Football

The Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers will both be gunning for a victory on Monday when they meet at Heinz Field.

Oddsmakers currently have the Steelers listed as 3½-point favorites versus the Texans, while the game’s total is sitting at 45.

Last time out for Pittsburgh, they were a 31-10 loser as they battled
the Browns on the road. The Steelers failed to cover in the match as a
+2.5-point underdog, while 41 combined points moved the game UNDER for
totals bettors.

Houston was a 33-28 loser in its last match at home against the
Colts. They failed to cover the +2.5-point spread as underdogs, while
the total score of 61 sent OVER bettors to the payout window.

Houston:

Team record: 3-3 SU,4-2 ATS

Houston is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 games

Houston is 8-15 ATS in its last 23 games

“The Dirty Dozen” College Football Rankings — 2014 Week 2 — October 20, 2014

Betting Online on College Football

By: Chris Dyer (Dirty)

Unlike the media and the coach’s polls I like to wait until after the
last weekend of September to try to even try to start ranking college
football teams. There are so many things that can happen during the
offseason and early season, with injuries, to even think about saying
who the best football team in the country is. Some teams play tough
schedules and some play sisters of the blind the first few weeks of the
season. At least by the 4th or 5th week all teams have played at least
1-2 quality opponents.

I limit it to the top 12 as that realistically is all that have a
chance to play in BCS bowls and have a shot at the 4 team playoff at any
time in the season for the most part. The top 25 is just the media’s
way of pumping mediocre football teams and keep the money train going.
They have to say we have the 23rd Ranked “Jacklegs” against the 17th
ranked “Hobnobbers” live from “Who Cares University” so they can make
fan bases happy and sell television ads. Bottom line is teams outside
the top 12 most likely will not play in a BCS Bowl or even New Year’s
Day games unless they are in a weak conference with a tie-in. Those
teams are most likely to by playing on the “Smurf Turf” in Boise or many
other cities that have inconsequential bowl games are were created by
ESPN just for the revenue TV brings. It is a good thing for us gamblers
though as we have more football to watch and bet on.

Let’s get to this week’s rankings as we had some serious shakeups this week.

1. Mississippi State Bulldogs (6-0) –No reason to drop
the Bulldogs from #1 after an off week. They travel to a dangerous
Kentucky team this week in Lexington than have Arkansas and
Tennessee-Martin at home before a season ending stretch of playing at
Bama, home against Vandy and at Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl. This stretch
is by no means easy but may be the easiest of the 4 teams that comprise
the top 5 teams in the nation to win out.

2. Ole Miss Rebels (7-0) – The Rebels did what top teams
are supposed to. They manhandled a decent SEC team (good rest of the
nation) 34-3 that could have been a look ahead game loss as they travel
to probably the toughest place in the nation to play. LSU’s “Death
Valley”. I am sure ABC will pick this game up for it Sat Night Football
game and LSU at night is brutal. Then they have Auburn at home the next
week with two should be wins against Presbyterian and at Arky. Then they
finish the season off at home in the Egg Bowl. This team has the
toughest road to go to win out.

3. Auburn Tigers (5-1) – After an off week Auburn has a
hungry South Carolina team at home. Spurrier is in must win mode with
UGA keeping on winning. They then go to Ole Miss and host A&M. The
A&M game will be interesting as we don’t know how they will react to
their 59-0 shellacking against Bama this past weekend. Then they travel
to Athens to play the Dawgs (who should have Gurley back by then) then
play Marist and finish up with Bama in Tuscaloosa in the Iron Bowl. They
have almost as hard of a road as Ole Miss to win out.

4. Florida State Seminoles (7-0) – FSU played a hell of a 2nd
half this past week to beat a better than expected Notre Dame, 31-27.
Winston finally played to his potential for most of the game. Now the
question is can they turn around on a short week and produce at
Louisville and the nations #1 defense? FSU has the easiest schedule of
any of the top teams to end the season as after Louisville they have
UVA, at Miami (Fla) and then play BC and a bad Florida team at home. If
they get past this Thursday game there is no reason for the Noles’ not
to be undefeated going into the ACC Championship game.

5. Alabama Crimson Tide (6-1) – Saban has a statement game
every year and this past weekend they took full advantage of a bad
A&M defense and whipped their asses like a yard dog 59-0. Football
Johnny was even putting “HAHA wow. Make it Stop” on twitter.
When Blake Sims plays well at QB for the Tide they are as good as
anyone in the nation. That is why they are not undefeated right now.
Bama travels to Tenn, who always plays them tough it seems, and LSU the
next two weeks then hosts Miss. State, Western Carolina and Auburn to
end the season. Another brutal stretch where they can’t afford to lose
another game.

6. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6-1)) – This team deserves
to be #6 after the game they played against FSU this past weekend. Brian
Kelly has this team back and is recruiting football players now. This
is the first time ND has had a solid team that the media hasn’t
over-hyped in damn near 30 years. Golson has turned into a good QB and
showed it against top talent. The Irish are off a week before playing a
dangerous Navy team so we don’t have to worry about a letdown. Then they
travel to play a dangerous Arizona State team then host Northwestern
and Louisville before ending the season at USC. Notre Dame has a
legitimate shot at finishing the season 11-1 if they play anywhere like
they did on Saturday night.

7. Georgia Bulldogs (6-1) – I wonder if Todd Gurley got a
Chubb(y) this past weekend as Nick Chubb rushed for 200 yards and 2 TD’s
in the UGA 45-32 win over Arkansas on the road. The score was 38-6 at
the half when Mark Richt pulled most of his starters and got some
experience in there. Richt will never run up the score on a team
intentionally. The Dawgs have just gotten better each week since Gurley
Gate and will be better when he comes back. He will be on the field most
likely when the Dawgs play Florida on November 1st in the
“Worlds Larges Cocktail Party” in Jacksonville. Losing Gurley has made
QB Hutson Mason throw well and everyone rally around and open gaping
holes up for Chubb. The D is still playing very well like it has all
year except the Tenn game. They travel to Kentucky and then host Auburn
before playing Charleston Southern before hosting Georgia Tech in the
match up called “Good Ole Southern Hate”. No reason the Dawgs can’t
legitimately win out this season as well if they get past Auburn.

8. TCU Horned Frogs (5-1) – All Gary Patterson and the TCU
Horned Frogs do is play well and usually win. This team gets no
national respect and after a heartbreaking 61-58 loss on the road to
Baylor the Froggies bounced back with a 42-9 kermie kicking of the
Oklahoma State Cowboys. The game was over midway thru the 1st
quarter. They have a bad Texas Tech team next week then travel to play a
dangerous West Virginia team who beat Baylor easily at home Saturday.
The problem here for TCU on top of WVA playing well at home is TCU has
KState at home the following weekend. The Frogs can’t look ahead or they
could get put in a blender. Then they end the season with 3 winnable
games at Kansa, Texas and at home against Iowa State. If TCU gets past
WVA and KState they should end the season with 1 loss as well.

9. Michigan State Spartans (6-1) – Michigan State didn’t
do anything of their own volition to drop several spots in this week’s
poll other than play a bad football team. They struggled in the first
half with a bad Indiana team but pulled away to kick them in the
ding-ding 59-17. After watching teams in better conferences beat better
teams the Spartans had to fall in the rankings. They play a bad Michigan
team at home this week and have an off week before hosting an Ohio
State team that is playing well right now. Then they have 3 winnable
games on the road at Maryland, at home against Rutgers and on the road
at Penn State. If they get past the Buckeyes we have another team that
could end the season with 1 loss.

10. Kansas State Wildcats (5-1) – Bill Snyder has his
unknown players at KState flying under the radar once again. They should
probably be higher than this, but there is just nowhere to put them
with the strength of the SEC West this season and then UGA playing as
well as they are with the schedule they have. The Wildcats only loss was
to top #3 ranked Auburn and they could have won that game. It came down
to the final minutes. They went into Norman and beat the Sooners this
past weekend 31-30 but OU was lucky to be in that game. KState had a
couple of turnovers that allowed them to stay in it. They host Texas and
Okie State the next two weekends and should win those and then travel
to play TCU and WVA in back to back weekends. They then Host Kansas and
then end with a road game at Baylor. Will be tough for them to get out
of that with only 1 loss.

11. Ohio State Buckeyes (5-1) – Ohio State have finally
started to play like we thought they would have with Braxton Miller
under center. Their only loss was at home to mediocre Virginia Tech, but
we have to understand they were getting used to a new signal caller in
J.T. Barrett. He has come into his own. The only problem with these Big
10 Schools is you don’t really know how good they are as for the most
part of the last 15 years when they play top teams from other
conferences (especially the SEC) they get beat. They have manhandled
basically everyone they have played this year after their loss to
VaTech. They travel to Penn State and host Illinois and should be 7-1
when they travel to East Lansing to play Mich. State. Then they end with
two wins against Indiana and Michigan at home. Here is another team
that could have only 1 loss at season’s end.

12. Baylor Bears (6-1) – Baylor almost fell out of the
rankings this week after going to Morgantown and getting whipped
physically by West Virginia. The game wasn’t as close as the 41-27
score. I understand with these high powered offense like this you will
have off weeks but you have to a defense that at least acts like a small
speed bump in the road and not a little pebble that wouldn’t even wreck
a Schwinn. Baylor is still a dangerous team and when things are
clicking can beat anyone in these rankings. They play Kansas and then go
to Oklahoma and then have Okie State at home, go to Texas Tech and
finish with KState at home. If they get any defense we have yet another
team that could end with one loss.

Teams that just missed: Oregon (6-1), East Carolina (5-1), Arizona (5-1), Arizona State (5-1)

I will be back next Monday with Week #3. As we can see the way this
season is shaping up we can expect this season college football’s first
playoff to be a clusterfuck. The first year is going to prove we needed
at least an 8 team playoff as we could not have any teams go undefeated
the way the SEC West is shaping up and then you have Conference
Championship games to worry about in most conferences if you get thru
the regular season unscathed. The Big XII will not have one so they have
an advantage over the other Conferences.

will be forfeited.

USER CREATED LEAGUES

Players are able to create private and custom leagues for
daily/weekly salary drafts. Players can invite friends and acquaintances
to both private and public games.

Players can create custom leagues at any time. Only games that start at
least 15 minutes after the league creation time can be included. If the
league does not fill by the close time (5 minutes before the first game
starts), it will be cancelled and each players’ buy-ins will be
refunded.

Private leagues are required to have a password. Only players with the password can join the league.

Players can make their league public if they don’t believe it will fill
by the designated draft time (It can be made public on the draft page).

Leaving your own private league will cancel that league. All players will have their buy-ins refunded.

Players may have up to 3 open custom leagues at any time. Those leagues
must be filled or cancelled before a player can create another custom
league.

SNAKE DRAFT LEAGUES

Star Fantasy Leagues provides players with both mock ‘instant’ snake draft leagues, as well as season-long snake draft leagues.

Once the draft begins, drafters will have a pre-set amount of seconds to
make their selection. If a player has not been selected within that
time, or has turned on Auto-Draft, his/her pick will be Auto-Drafted. If
a drafter has placed players in their Auto-Draft queue, the next player
will be selected from the queue, if not, the next best available player
will be picked according to the SFL rankings and roster position
availability.

Mock snake drafts will run every 10 minutes. Snake drafts must have at
least one entrant to run before 5 minutes of the game starting. If there
are not enough players to run a mock draft within 5 minutes of the
draft time, draft bots using Auto-Draft will be placed in the league to
fill it.

Season-long drafts will run every 30 minutes.

MULTI-PLAYER TOURNAMENTS

Multi-Player tournaments are salary games created by Star Fantasy
Leagues built for a great number of players and bigger prize pools.

Multi-Player roster rules are the same as regular salary cap tournaments
but can range from over twenty players to hundreds of players.

The prize pools for Multi-Player tournaments are scaled based on the number of predetermined entries.

ANY draft that is interrupted due to technical issues on behalf of Star Fantasy Leagues will result in a full refund.

HH Would Like to Welcome Fantasy Aces as One of our Fantasy Sports Sponsors — Weekly Qualifers to $100k FF Championship!!!

Guys HH is very happy to welcome aboard Fantasy Aces
as one of our first sponsors in our venture into fantasy sports. These
guys are an up and coming company with lots of future growth and they
offer virtually all the games and options that the bigger guys do. They
will be working with us closely to make us customized games for us on a
year round basis. They also offer college football options and will be
working with us on fantasy Bowl Game contests and contests for the NFL
playoffs. I have spent time on the phone with these guys on and off over
the last couple of days and I feel confident we both have a product
that is going to benefit our website, our posters and help grow their
brand. Fee free to ask us if you want them to offer certain games and
they will do their best to do so. I don’t want to try to list all the
options they have for games, but they offer them for all the major
sports and more. They have quick and easy payout and deposit options and
the website is easy to navigate and understand. Over the next few weeks
they will be sending me more promos catered to our site and the games
our users play. So please check them out and send them a few bucks and
try their games out and let us know what you do and don’t like about the
site.

Below is some info on the company (they will be sending a detailed
about us with all the games and other options next week, but go check
the site out anyway). Click the promos below or the banners to take you
to the site.

Welcome to FantasyAces.com!
Are you looking for a more exciting way to play fantasy sports? Then you have come to the right place! Our fantasy contests are 100% legal
and easy to play. Here you can use your knowledge of professional
athletes to win you some real cash and have the confidence of knowing
your funds are safe!

Fantasy Aces LLC is a US based fantasy sports website owned and
operated in Southern California and our members funds are held in a
segregated US bank account, separated from our operational accounts.
FantasyAces.com officially went live MLB Opening Day, 2013. We are
only through our initial beta-phase and are now well on our way to
rolling out some amazing features in the near future! Our team is
extremely passionate about delivering a great fantasy experience to our
members. Our promise is to stay on the cutting-edge of fantasy sports
and offer great customer service. We will listen and entertain any ideas
or recommendations from our members because they are the reason Fantasy
Aces has become one of the best sites on the web for daily fantasy
sports. If you are new to Daily Fantasy Sports then you have made the
right choice with Fantasy Aces! We have made our site extremely users
friendly but we are also here to help you on a personal level. You can
simply email us with any questions or setup a phone call so one of our
staff members can help you over the phone. We recommend reading our
GAMEPLAY BASICS page to help you get started learning how to play! But
enough about us doing all the talking. Hear from a Fantasy Aces member
about why Daily Fantasy Sports is a better overall experience!

Currently, we offer daily fantasy contests for MLB, NFL, & NBA.
This was the initial plan for our 1st year going live. In 2014, you can
not only expect more sports like Hockey & College Football, but you
can also look forward to a variety cutting-edge game formats never seen
before in daily fantasy sports. SalaryPro, our newest game format
features a “flex” salary cap that opens up a ton of drafting options and
rewards those who target undervalued fantasy talent with bonus points.
SalaryPro also allows you to go over the set $50,000 salary cap, but
this comes at a penalty. If you want to spend big on the elite player
then you will have the ability to do so. However, by going over the cap
you will incur a loss of fantasy points to begin the contest. It’s an
exciting addition to daily fantasy sports. We highly recommend you
sample SalaryPro in one of our weekly free rolls for the chance at some
free cash!

Are you looking for some fantasy tools to help you do some research
while you draft a team? We are soon releasing our SCOUT page where you
can do just that. We find it very frustrating jumping around from one
website to the next to do all of your research. We believe the SCOUT
page will make a big difference for you on Game Day! Our current draft
page does feature a hybrid version of it. You can already sort through
stats while selecting your fantasy team. This is only available on
Desktop.

FantasyAces.com is the only daily fantasy sports site that offers a
one of a kind experience. You can actually play with professional
athletes in their own contests. Currently, All-Pro RB Matt Forte hosts a
weekly contest for the NFL season. You can also jump into one of Matt’s
Freerolls every week. It’s an awesome experience and we are just
getting started. More professional athletes will son join the Aces team!

About Sports Tradex

Sports Tradex’s
mission is to provide entertaining, skill-based competitions that allow
our users to make predictions about real-world events and fantasy
sports.

Our real-world contests are 100% free competitions that give users a
method to win prizes without taking any financial risks. The data from
these contests give great insights into the real-world probability of an
event happening. They also serve as great training grounds for users
that wish to enter our fantasy competitions.

Our fantasy contests are a new method for competing in fantasy sports.
Unlike our competitors, are competitions are 100% player-based. We
believe our approach allows a contestant to showcase his or her skill
best in comparison to other daily fantasy sports sites where a
contestant must contend with the site’s athlete valuation algorithm.

We are a member of the Fantasy Sports Trade Association and are proud to provide a new take on fantasy sports competitions.

Sports Tradex LLC is a US-based company based in Houston, TX.

  • What contests are available at Sports Tradex?
Sports Tradex is a daily fantasy website that holds a variety of
contests. In our pick’em contests, you select fantasy teams that you
believe will win their matchups. Our pick’em games generally last just
one day, and we award thousands of dollars in prizes daily in our
pick’em contests. We have pick’em contests available that range in
    buy-ins from $0 up to $100+.

Additionally, we occasionally run free-to-enter trading contests where
you make predictions on the outcome of sporting events. Our trading
contests are always free to enter (no buy-in) but still award prizes!

We also are about to launch a draft-style fantasy game. Check back soon
for details and to play in this new, exciting fantasy game.
  • Can I join Sports Tradex?
To be eligible for Sports Tradex, you must be 18 years of age or
older and a resident of the United States or Canada. However, residents
from Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Quebec and Washington are
prohibited from playing due to state law.
Competing in our Pick’em Contests

  • How do the Pick’em Contests work?
In a Pick’em Contest, a list of fantasy team matchups are displayed
to the user. The user must make a selection of which fantasy teams will
    win their matchup.
  • How many matchups does the user select?
The amount of picks a user must make depends on the contest. Generally, you pick 8 teams out of 10 matchups available.
  • What are the key differences between Pick’em Contests and Survivor Contests?
Pick’em contests last just one day. Generally, users make at least 8
picks. Whoever gets the most correct wins the prize pool (if multiple
people tie for first, they split the prize pool). Pick’em contests are
the more common version of the contest.

Survivor Contests generally last more than one day and mimic NFL
Survivor Contests. Contestants generally just make a few picks each day.
If you make an incorrect pick, you are eliminated and do not advanced
to the next day. Whoever lasts the longest wins.
  • What happens if two teams tie in a fantasy matchup?
The team that has the individual player that scored the most points
wins. For example, suppose Team A and Team B scored 100 fantasy points.
Team A had a player that scored 50 points (with the other players
scoring 50 points cumulativately) whereas Team B had a player that
scored 35 points (with the other players scoring 65 points
cumulatively). Team A would win the matchup. If both teams highest
scoring player scored the same amount of points, then the tie breaker
goes to the second highest player and so forth. If both teams are
identical in what their individual players scored (for example, each
team had a player score 10 points and the rest of the players all scored
0), then both teams are considered losers.
  • What happens if a player has multiple entries that tie for first place with another user?
Each entry a person has entitled to its share of the prize pool.
Let’s say a winner-take-all contest has two winners, John and Jane. John
actually had two entries that won, whereas Jane only had one. In this
case, since John has two entries and Jane has one, John would win ⅔ of
the prize pool, and Jane would have the remaining ⅓.
  • What happens if a two people tie for first place in a qualifier contest?
If two or more people tie for first in a qualifier contest, they will split the cash value of the prize.
Competing in our Trading Contests

  • How do the contests work?
When joining a contest, all players are given a fixed amount of fake
money (SportsTradex dollars) with which to trade in the contest. The
goal of the contest is to increase your balance of fake money as much as
    possible by making good predictions.
  • How do I make predictions in the contests?
You make a prediction by buying or selling a certain team or player.
If you think the event will occur (for example, you think a team will
win), you will make a buy order. If you think the event won’t occur, you
    will make a sell order.
  • What do the prices mean?
The prices for each team are displayed as 0-100. If a team ultimately
wins, their price will be set at 100. If the team loses, it will go to
    0. If the team hasn’t played yet or is currently playing, the price they
are currently trading at reflects what the market believes their
percentage chance of winning is. For example, a team trading at 65 is
viewed as having a 65% chance of winning.
  • How do I increase my balance?
You can increase your fake money balance in two ways. First, you can
make a prediction and hold those shares until the contest finishes. For
example, if you buy a team’s shares at 40 and they win their game, those
shares will go to 100. You will make a profit of 60 a share times the
amount of shares you own. If you bought 20 shares at 40 and the team
won, your balance would increase by 1200 (60X20). Likewise, if you sold a
team and they lose, your balance will increase. If you sold a team at
    40 for 20 shares and they lose, you would profit 800 (40 X 20).

You can also increase your balance by buying and selling a team within
the contest. For example, if you buy a team at 40 and they are doing
well in a game, you may be able to sell them at 70. Your profit is 30
per share. Even if the team goes on to lose the game, you still made a
profit since you sold all of the shares you bought.
  • How do I win the contests/what do I win?
You win the contests by having a larger final fake money balance than
your competitors. The top finishers win prizes. The amount paid for
each place is provided in the contest description.
  • What do I lose if I do not win a contest?
Since these contests are always free to enter, you do not lose
anything.. All of our real-world prediction games are free to enter, so
there is absolutely no cost or potential loss to you by entering those
    contests.
Account Questions

  • How can I create an account at Sports Tradex?
You can create an account by signing up on our sign up page.
  • Can I have more than one account at Sports Tradex?
You can only have one active, real-money account at Sports Tradex.
Game Rules

ELIGIBILITY:

All users entering contests must be eligible under our Terms of Use.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States
or Canada. Residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Quebec, and
Washington are NOT eligible to play real-money contests at Sports
Tradex.

ONLY ONE ACCOUNT:

Contestants may only operate a maximum of one real money account with
Sports Tradex. The real money account will be used to deposit funds for
entry fee contests or to receive/withdraw prize money. If a contestant
wishes to close or change his real money account, he or she may email
Sports Tradex with the request.

FANTASY STATISTICS AND LIVE SCORING:

  1. During each game, Sports Tradex will provide live scores. These
scores are for informational and entertainment purposes only. Our stats
provider, Sports Direct, may occasionally revise the final box scores
    and statistics.
  2. If a game is suspended, postponed, or shortened, only statistics
from the game’s original date will be used unless noted in the contest
description. Make-up games may be counted at Sports Tradex discretion if
the game occurs during the duration of the contest.
  3. Statistics and scores from the final box score provided to us by our
statistics supplier, Sports Direct, will be used to determine winners.
Sports Tradex will finalize contests and distribute winnings as soon as
reasonably possible after the conclusion of a contest.
PRIZE POOLS:

Prizes are predetermined and visible for each contest, including
those that require an entry fee and those that do not require an entry
free. Contests with a ‘guaranteed’ prize pool will launch regardless of
the number of contestants that enter. Contests that are not ‘guaranteed’
will not begin unless the stated minimum number of contestants enter.
If a contest is not guaranteed, the minimum number of contestants needed
to enter will be displayed along with the prize pool. Non-guaranteed
contests that do not fill will be cancelled, and entry fees will be
returned to users that entered the contest.

TIE BREAKER RULES (TRADING AND SURVIVOR CONTESTS):

These rules only applies to pre-bundled teams in both the Trading and
Survivor/Pick’em contests. In the event two fantasy teams tie, the
pre-bundled team with the highest scoring individual athlete, based on
fantasy points, will win. If each team’s best performing player has the
same fantasy total, then the tie will be broken by the second highest
player and so forth. If this rule is unable to break a tie between two
fantasy teams (e.g. all players on two opposing fantasy teams have the
same amount of fantasy points), then both teams are considered losers
for trading and pick’em/survivor contests.

If two contestants/users tie in a SportsTradex contest, then they split
the prize for their occupied positions in the standings. For example, if
a contest pays three spots and two contestants tie for first, then they
will split the first and second place prize. In a contest that is
winner-take-all and two contestants tie for first, they would split the
first place prize. This rule applies to all ties among SportsTradex
users regardless of the number of users involved in the tie.

RULES SPECIFIC FOR OUR DRAFT CONTESTS:

  1. Users draft a team of 7 or more players in our tiered fantasy draft
game. The number of players the users drafts from each tier varies
depending on the strategy options for fantasy team size (7 players or
more) available in the contest. Full player distribution for each
strategy is listed in the individual contests.
  2. The winner of a Draft contest is defined by the user(s) that drafted
a fantasy team that scored the highest amount of fantasy points in the
    contest.
  3. Users must draft a team that includes players from at least 3
real-world teams and no more than 4 athletes from any one individual
    team.
  4. If two users tie in a SportsTradex draft contest, then they split the prize for their occupied positions in the standings.
RULES SPECIFIC FOR OUR TRADING CONTESTS:

  1. All contestants are given a fixed amount of Sports Tradex dollars
(virtual currency) upon signing up for a contest. Upon entering a
contest, all trades within that contest are made with this virtual
currency. No actual real money is traded in the contest. The goal of the
contest is to accumulate as much virtual money as possible. Contestants
will be ranked based on their Sports Tradex virtual account balance at
the end of the contest. Prizes will be awarded based on a stated payout
    chart for each contest.
  2. Only contests where players trade fantasy teams made up of three or
more players not from the same real-world sports team may require an
entry fee. Contests where players trade actual teams will never require
    an entry fee.
  3. Contestants will buy and sell contenders (teams, players or fantasy
teams) using virtual currency in the game. The contender or team
(treated like a stock) that wins the event will have a final value
Sports Tradex dollar value per share Sports Tradex determined by the
contest description (generally $100). All eliminated teams or players
will have a value of $0 per share. The rules for the scoring of the
contest will be posted in the description for each contest.
  4. A buyer of a share will have the purchase value removed from his
available balance. When a contestant sells a team, he will have the
amount sold added to his available balance. However, he will also have
virtual money removed from his available balance and placed in “held for
shares sold” to cover the loss he will have to take if the contender
sold wins the event to which the contract relates. When there is only
one victor and multiple contenders, the amount removed from his
available balance and placed in reserve is only based on the share count
of the team with the most shares sold.
  5. Trading will be allowed starting at the set ‘start’ time. Trading
will end when the final sporting event related to the contest has
completed. Sports Tradex will determine the end time at its discretion
and will freeze all trades and set the value of winners to 100.
  6. In the event of a tie among contestants in a Sports Tradex contest,
the tied contestants will split the prizes for the relevant places in
the standings. For example, a tie for second among two contestants will
split the prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
  7. Players may not buy or sell Sports Tradex dollars outside of
purchasing directly into a contest. No rebuys of Sports Tradex dollars
are permitted within a contest and no sale or exchange of Sports Tradex
dollars via third parties is permitted.
  8. Contestants may not collude with other contestants in any way.
Contestants found to be colluding with others will be banned from the
site, their trades unwound and they will not be eligible for prizes.
Cash balances, excluding prizes for contests in which the user was
disqualified, will be paid to the user.
RULES SPECIFIC FOR OUR PICK’EM / SURVIVOR CONTESTS:

  1. All contestants must make the required number of picks before the
pick lock deadline. In the event that the contestant does not make the
required number of picks before the deadline, those picks are defined as
incorrect. Contests with one round are Pick’Em contests. Survivor
contests have multiple rounds. In contests that have multiple rounds,
those that made the required number of correct picks advance to the next
    round.
  2. The winner of a Pick’Em or Survivor Contest is defined by the
user(s) that made the required number of correct picks in all
pre-defined rounds. If no one makes the required number of correct picks
in all pre-defined rounds, then the winner(s) are the contestant(s)
that made the highest total of correct picks in the contest. The winner
of a Pick’em Contest is defined as the user that made the highest total
    number of correct picks. Examples:
    1. Survivor contest with 8 rounds and 1 pick per round. Only one user makes a correct pick in each round. That user is the winner.
    2. Survivor contest with 8 rounds and 1 pick per round. Four users make
correct picks in Rounds 1-7 but all make an incorrect pick in round 8.
Those four users split the prize pool.
    3. Survivor contest with 8 rounds and 2 picks per round. Four users
make 2 correct picks in Rounds 1-7. One user makes 1 correct pick in
Round 8 and the other three users make 0 correct picks in round 8. The
user that made 1 correct pick wins the contest.
    4. Pick’em contest with 1 round and 5 picks. No users make 5 correct
picks. Two users make 4 correct picks with the other users making less
than 4 correct picks. The two users that made 4 correct picks tie for
1st and split the assigned prizes for first and second place.
  3. Standings are generated based on the total number of correct picks
for each user in a contest. If the winner of the contest had 5 correct
picks and the person with the next most correct picks had 4, the person
with 5 correct picks would win the first place prize and the person with
4 correct picks would win the second place prize. Total prizes and
prize distributions are available in the contest lobby and are known to
contestants prior to the commencement of the contest.
  4. Multiple entries: Contestants may buy multiple entries at the
beginning of the contest, up to the maximum amount as defined by the
specific contest’s rules. Each entry is treated as unique and must make
the required number of correct picks to advance to the next round (in a
Survivor contest). In the event that a contestant has two or more
multiple entries that tie for a prize, each of those entries will split
the prize pool. For example, if four entries survive to the end in a
Winner(s) Take All format and one person had two of those entries, that
person would receive half of the prize pool.
  5. Only contests where players choose among fantasy teams comprised of
two or more players not from the same real-world sports team may require
an entry fee. Contests where players pick from actual real-world teams
will never require an entry fee.
WEATHER, POSTPONED, AND DELAYED GAMES

  1. If a game is postponed or cancelled for any reason and is therefore
not played on the day of the contest, then all athletes from the
affected game(s) will receive 0 fantasy points on the date of
    SportsTradex contest.
  2. Sports Tradex reserves the right, at its discretion, to replace
players on pre-bundled teams if some of the players on a team are unable
to play. Sports Tradex must make any changes to the rosters at least
three hours prior to a contest’s pick deadline. SportsTradex must also
notify, via email, all participants of any roster changes.
