Horse racing bettors can turn their attention to three different tracks this Saturday. There is a trio of big money Kentucky Derby prep races on the trail to this year’s ‘Run for the Roses’ in early May.

The $300,000 Gotham Stakes headline the race card at Aqueduct. The $400,000 Tampa Bay Derby is the featured race at Tampa Bay Downs. Out on the West Coast at Santa Anita Park is the running of the $400,000 San Felipe Stakes.

The PGA Tour resumes its Florida swing with the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. NASCAR’s Monster Energy Cup Series heads to ISM Raceway. The track that is outside of Phoenix will host Sunday’s TicketGuardian 500 as the second stop on its West Coast swing.

Both ESPN and Showtime offer a full card of boxing action on Saturday night.

One of two featured matchups on NBA TV this Friday night starting at 8 p.m. An inter-conference clash between the Washington Wizards and the New Orleans Pelicans is a key matchup. Both teams are currently in fourth place in their respective conferences.

Later that night in a 10:30 p.m. tip at the Staples Center, the Los Angeles Clippers will play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers in another inter-conference tilt.
