Once again, the field is less than stellar at this week’s PGA tour
stop, which I suppose is to be expected come major season. The course
should be getable for the field. With soft conditions, expect the
aggressive players to vault up the leaderboard. Experience, however,
will rule the day. Look for those players who have a good track record
at TPC Deere Run and/or have good form coming in.

This is the first week I’m going to say this, but building a high/low
lineup is probably the way to go. With a lackluster field, you need to
have a big name or two on the roster and you can take some chances with
the lower level players. I usually promote balance but it’s time to
change it up.

SLEEPERS

Spencer Levin (
FantasyAces $3,550)

We have a Spencer Levin sighting! I rarely use Spencer due to his
lack of length, but he’s actually a great play for the week. Levin is
17th in Driving Accuracy and 52nd in Greens in Regulation. He had a good
finish in Memphis, finishing T22 at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. Places
like Harbor Town and TPC Deere Run are good for him because you need
accuracy more than length.

Ken Duke (FantasyAces $2,950)

Hello Mr. Duke, we meet again. Ken is a favorite of mine because you
look at his game and he doesn’t leap off the page, but he somehow places
well. Duke ranks 36th in Driving Accuracy and is playing solid of late.
He finished T10 at the Travelers and T29 at St. Jude. Ken seems to do
well on parkland style courses—when distance isn’t a factor, he’s
dangerous.

ULTIMATE SLEEPER

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, golf, PGA, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy golf, fantasy golf, fantasy PGA

Fabian Gomez (FantasyAces $3,900)

Look out for Fabian Gomez, because he’s coming. It takes some time to
get acclimated to the tour and Fabian is starting to show signs of
brilliance. He broke through with the win at St. Jude, and TPC Deere Run
is another good fit for him. He’s 70th is Driving Accuracy, which is
decent, but 27th in Birdie Avg. and 15th in Putting Avg. When scoring is
vital, Fabian brings it. Look for him to rise up the leaderboard again
this week.

TOP PLAYERS

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, golf, PGA, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy golf, fantasy golf, fantasy PGA

Steve Stricker (
FantasyAces $5,950)

Stricker isn’t currently at his best form, but he’s the horse for
this course. A three-time champion here, when Steve steps on the grounds
of TPC Deere Run he finds that Midwest magic. The Wisconsin native is a
good driver of the ball and an even better putter. The silky smooth
stroke works very well on these bentgrass greens. Steve had a T40 at
Memorial but look for him to finish considerably higher this week.

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, golf, PGA, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy golf, fantasy golf, fantasy PGA

Zach Johnson (FantasyAces $7,150)

TPC Deere Run is definitely home of the Zach attack. Johnson has five
top 3 finishes in his last six starts here, including a title in 2012.
He ranks 9th in Driving Accuracy and 57th in Greens in Regulation. A
true magician with a wedge from 125 yards and in, he’s definitely
cracked the code at TPC Deere Run. Expect to see his name near or at the
top of the leaderboard once again.

WINNER

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, golf, PGA, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy golf, fantasy golf, fantasy PGA

Ryan Moore (FantasyAces $6,200)

It’s hard to say what kind of year Ryan is having. He has a win and
some decent finishes to go along with some poor ones. The one thing I
will say is that his game fits this track, and with a weaker field, Ryan
is one of the top names. Moore ranks 13th in Driving Accuracy and 28th
in Strokes Gained Total. A very good ball striker, Moore finished T18 at
Memorial and is looking for another top finish. He has a funny way of
sneaking up on you and getting a win, so don’t be left out when Ryan is
raising the trophy.

Play well this week and keep an eye out for Twitter updates from @ChristopherCelo and @Fantasy_Aces

TIP OF THE DAY

Try something new.

Let’s be honest: It’s early on the day after a holiday. America’s big birthday party, no less.

You really don’t feel like diving head-first into a high-stakes, big-jackpot contest.

Then don’t.

Ever tried a head-to-head game? Sunday would be the perfect day for it.

Lookie here: FantasyAces is offering up a bunch of them for a wide variety of prices.

What do you know about the competition? Sometimes you don’t know anything at all.

That’s generally not a good thing.

On this particular day, however, it comes down to this: Who’s feeling
the effects of Saturday’s celebration more: You or the other guy?

For a couple of bucks, I believe it’s worth your while to find out.

MUST PLAY

Mike Bolsinger, P, Dodgers (FantasyAces $5,600).

If you haven’t pitched Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke against the Mets the last two days, it had to be because of the hefty price.

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

That’s not an issue Sunday, and you absolutely have to take advantage.

But this isn’t all about the price, which, by the way, is nice.

Bolsinger has compiled a 0.91 WHIP at home this season, the best
among all of Sunday’s starters. Yep, that’s even better than what you’ll
get from the Pirates’ Gerrit Cole (FantasyAces $7,750), and you’ll save upward of $2,000 at the same time.

Told you the price was nice.

And let’s not forget about Sunday’s opponent, the Mets. They stopped
hitting well before Kershaw and Greinke limited them to one run on nine
hits over 14 innings on Friday and Saturday.

Bolsinger, now fully recovered from a bout with food poisoning last week, has to be one of your pitchers Sunday.

FantasyAces $1500 MLB Line Drive, FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

MUST AVOID

All Athletics.

Maybe Josh Reddick was on to something.

You did hear the left-handed-hitting outfielder’s criticism of Billy Beane the other day, right?

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

In a nutshell, Reddick was disappointed because he’d been told by
manager Bob Melvin that he’d be starting against a left-handed pitcher,
only later to find his name conspicuously absent from the lineup card.

He blamed an intervention from the platoon-happy Beane.

No doubt, Beane not-so-subtly will want a lot of righties in the lineup against Mariners left-hander Mike Montgomery on Sunday, and that would be a mistake.

The young standout has dominated right-handed hitters in his six starts, allowing a Clayton Kershaw-esque .447 OPS.

Note to Billy: Reddick should be playing Sunday. Then again, it probably won’t matter.

Montgomery has been tough on lefties (.617 OPS), too.

Come to think of it, Montgomery (FantasyAces $5,550) against a team
that’s hit .239 against left-handers all season would be a nice pitching
complement to the aforementioned Mike Bolsinger.

HISTORY LESSON

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

Angels first baseman Albert Pujols (.916) and outfielders Matt Joyce (1.012) and Mike Trout (1.258) all have high OPS numbers in their careers against the Rangers’ starter Sunday, right-hander Colby Lewis.

But those marks are dwarfed by teammate Kole Calhoun’s ownage of Lewis.

Calhoun is 8-for-16 with two doubles, a triple and a home run in his
career against Lewis. That’s a 1.438 OPS to go with a .500 batting
average.

I can’t recommend stacking Angels on Sunday as Lewis has an impressive 0.99 WHIP at home this season.

But you’d be wise to find room in your lineup at least for Calhoun (FantasyAces $4,600).

TODAY’S STACK PACK

Astros right-handed hitters vs. Red Sox lefty Eduardo Rodriguez.

Stack Packs work best when you tie together players of complementary skills.

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

That’s exactly what you’ll get if you put Astros high-average middle infielders Jose Altuve (FantasyAces $5,500) and Carlos Correa (FantasyAces $5,000) alongside slugging first baseman Chris Carter (FantasyAces $4,900).

Altuve and Correa should be on base all day long against Rodriguez,
whose home WHIP (1.43) and June ERA (4.81) are a bit on the high side.

Altuve brings a 12-game hitting streak into the game. He’s been especially hot of late, having gone 7-for-13 in July.

Correa isn’t far behind. He’s ripped 14 hits in his last 10 games and four in 10 at-bats this month.

When they’re on base Sunday, Carter is bound to drive them in. That’s
because he’s due for a home run — he’s hit one in alternating starts
his last six games, with Saturday having been one of his homerless days.

They bat second, third and fifth for a team that leads everyone in home runs and total bases against left-handed pitching.

The Astros figure to add to those impressive figures Sunday.

ULTIMATE SLEEPER

Tommy Pham, OF, Cardinals (FantasyAces $3,000).

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

I instructed you Saturday to jump on a prospect as soon as he demonstrates he’s figured out major league pitching.

Pham appears to have done Saturday.

After an 0-for-3 debut the night before, Pham doubled, stole a base
and scored twice out of the leadoff spot against the Padres on Saturday.

I expect bigger and better things Sunday, when he faces Ian Kennedy, a
rare pitcher with OPS numbers over .800 against both lefties (.828) and
righties (.900).

Pham is priced at rock bottom, meaning even meager production will make him a worthwhile investment.

I expect a whole lot more than that.

INJURY ALERT

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

The Astros’ aforementioned numbers against left-handed pitching figure to take a hit with outfield George Springer out of the lineup with a wrist injury.

Fortunately, Jake Marisnick (FantasyAces $4,300) is ready to return from a disabled list stint caused by a hamstring issue.

Marisnick adds a right-handed bat to the Houston attack just when it needs it.

He’s a Stack Pack candidate Sunday if you’re scared away by Chris Carter’s .197 batting average.

Here’s one advantage Marisnick, who hit .379 in April when given a
similar opportunity, gives you over Carter: He comes significantly
cheaper.

Daily Fantasy Baseball: Mr. Fantasy’s Daily Diamonds for July 4

By Dave Del Grande

@DaveDelGrande

TIP OF THE DAY

Make young hitters prove themselves.

It’s always nice when you put a “Who’s he?” in your lineup and he
comes through. It gives you a feeling of having discovered the guy.

But more times than not, “Who’s he?” turns into “Why him?” after a
lackluster debut, leaving you answering questions rather than crowing
about your scouting ability.

Cubs standout Kris Bryant was one of these guys. If
you had him in your lineup in his debut back in April, all you had to
show for four at-bats were three strikeouts.

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

The next day, after you inevitably benched him, he showed his first signs of life with two hits and three walks.

Those who responded to the success in turn experienced success of
their own. Bryant went on to record seven hits, including four doubles,
in his next four games, making him a significant daily fantasy
contributor at a very cheap price.

That’s what tends to happen with these young studs. A lot of them
eventually figure it out, and that’s when they can help your daily
fantasy lineup.

So, it’s not about discovering them, but rather responding to their early success.

Two highly-regarded prospects debuted this week and, so far, have followed similar paths.

If you rushed Twins third baseman/designated hitter Miguel Sano (FantasyAces $3,500) into your lineup in his debut Thursday, you suffered the consequences. His two strikeouts overshadowed his one hit.

But Sano was better in his encore performance Friday. Like Bryant, he
had two hits and drove in his first run in Game 2, and now becomes a
legitimate daily fantasy prospect. Especially at a bargain price.

Cardinals outfielder Tommy Pham, meanwhile, has played only one game. It was Friday, and guess what? He went 0-for-3.

Should he be in your lineup Saturday? Absolutely not, even at the rock-bottom price of $3,000.

But keep an eye on him, and once you see his “I can do this” moment, then jump on him.

Trust me on this: The price will still be low.

MUST PLAY

Ryan Braun, OF, Brewers (FantasyAces $5,750).

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

The Brewers are bombing big-time these days, and any number of them can be recommended.

But I’m settling for only the best.

Braun has 16 hits during his current eight-game hitting streak, with five doubles and two home runs among the hits.

The great thing about sharing the spotlight with your teammates is
that Braun has benefitted from the inordinate number of teammates on
base. He’s driven in nine runs during his eight-game run.

Saturday, Braun will face the weakest pitcher he’s seen during the hot streak. Reds right-hander Josh Smith apparently should have stuck to basketball.

Smith has made two disastrous starts, during which he’s allowed seven hits and 10 walks in eight innings.

He’s faced 21 right-handed hitters in those two outings. Nine have
reached base, two via a double and a home run, helping produce a
whopping .929 OPS.

One’s hot and one’s not. That’s a recipe for daily fantasy success.

FantasyAces $2000 MLB Line Drive, FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

MUST AVOID

Rangers first baseman Prince Fielder (FantasyAces $5,600).

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

You might think it’s not wise to poke the same bear twice, but I like
pressing my luck and I’ve got even better numbers on my side this time
around.

The last time I recommended avoiding the hot-hitting Fielder (last
Saturday), he responded with two inconsequential singles that didn’t
come close to justifying his big price tag.

Fielder has recorded eight hits since then, keeping his batting average (.347) and price tag high.

But those last seven hits, like his two last Saturday, have all been singles, and he’s totaled just one RBI over that stretch.

That unproductive run is unlikely to end Saturday, as he’ll be up against a left-handed pitcher, the Angels’ Hector Santiago,
who is as tough on lefty hitters as any starter in baseball. Rarely do
you see a .414 OPS against one side of the plate, but that’s exactly
what Santiago does to lefties.

I’ll be surprised if Fielder even puts up the two meaningless singles this time around.

HISTORY LESSON

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

Blue Jays third baseman Danny Valencia (FantasyAces $4,500) can hit left-handers. Yes, his .949 OPS against them demonstrates that.

But here’s the real proof …

Valencia has faced Tigers star lefty David Price 17 times in his career. Shockingly, he’s gotten 12 hits.

That’s a .706 batting average against one of the best pitchers in the game.

Throw in his three doubles among those 12 hits and it adds up to a 1.644 OPS.

Against David Price, for crying out loud.

You’ve got to invest the $4,500 Saturday, don’t you?

TODAY’S STACK PACK

Royals vs. Twins right-hander Mike Pelfrey.

Current members of the Royals have faced Pelfrey a total of 122 times in their careers. That’s a pretty large sample size.

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

That’s what makes their cumulative .352 batting average and .881 OPS pretty amazing.

Outfielders Lorenzo Cain (FantasyAces $5,050) and Alex Gordon (FantasyAces $4,850), first baseman Eric Hosmer (FantasyAces $4,850) and third baseman Mike Moustakas (FantasyAces $4,900) all have 1.000 or higher OPS numbers in their career against the righty.

But the guy who has torched Pelfrey the most has been second baseman Omar Infante (FantasyAces $4,000). He’s gone 16-for-39 (.410) in his career against the Twin.

To add insult to injury, Pelfrey hasn’t had much of a season
regardless of who he’s been up against. His 1.75 road WHIP is the worst
among Saturday’s starters, and his 5.35 June ERA demonstrates he’s not
exactly turning things around.

And now comes his biggest nightmare.

Give me Infante, Moustakas and Hosmer on Saturday.

ULTIMATE SLEEPER

Eugenio Suarez, SS, Reds (FantasyAces $3,250).

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

That’s something wrong with this picture …

Suarez is hitting .361 this season, yet his FantasyAces price is about as low as they get.

Actually, it’s easy to see why. It’s just hard to explain.

Suarez has 21 hits and four walks in 19 games this season. Toss out
his two home runs and he’s scored a grand total of two runs in those
other 23 visits to the basepaths.

He’s even helped himself out with three steals.

It says here: The law of averages is going to catch up with this guy.
It very well could start Saturday in what figures to be a high-scoring
game against the hot-hitting Brewers (see above).

I don’t know, there’s just something about a .361-hitting shortstop with a $3,250 price tag that screams: Own me.

INJURY ALERT

FantasyAces, Fantasy Aces, FantasyAces.com, DFS, daily fantasy sports, daily fantasy baseball, fantasy baseball, MLB

You can’t fool the FantasyAces price-setter.

I thought I was going to steal Diamondbacks lefty Patrick Corbin in his season debut Saturday.

Heck, the guy hasn’t pitched since 2013 following elbow surgery.

But there he is, third on the pitchers’ salary chart at $6,500. Darn.

I bow to the price-setter, but do add this: At home against a struggling Rockies team, Corbin really should be $7,500.

I’m going to play him anyway.

Weekend Daily Fantasy Sports Report for June 5th - Handicappers Hideaway

Weekend Daily Fantasy Sports Report for June 5th

Happy Friday, everyone! With the end of another week comes another
chance to win some big bucks competing in DraftTeam’s $3,000 MLB High
Heater contest. How sweet will your weekend be with some extra cash?

One of the best things about daily fantasy sports is that you have the
convenience to play however you want to. Just sitting back watching a
few games tonight and feel like making things more interesting by
participating in a pool? Go for it! On a business trip, but don’t want
to miss out on the action? No worries… it only take a few minutes to get
your team in and give yourself a chance to win some cash!

Can we talk about the legend that Joey Gallo is building for himself?
Called up to replace the injured Adrian Beltre, on Tuesday he enjoys one
of the best MLB debuts you’ll ever see, going 3-for-4 with a double, a
homer (see video below) and four RBI. Gallo fell a triple shy of
hitting for the cycle.

The power-hitting dynamo followed that up on Wednesday by smacking a
solo shot off a lefty reliever — a great sign from the left-handed
hitting Gallo, who had struggled against southpaws at Double-A. On
Thursday, the kid got on base twice.

Seeking pop? Look no further than this kid.

Texas is dealing with its share of injuries (add Josh Hamilton to that
list now), but SP/RP Ross Detwiler (shoulder) is getting closer to a
return, and he could provide a boost to a bullpen that has been taxed
lately. Detwiler has been used exclusively as a starter this year after
being used only as a reliever in his final season with the Nats in
2014.

Thanks to some control problems, he’s struggled to an 0-5 mark with an
ugly 6.95 ERA, so perhaps the bullpen is the best place for him.

In our notes section today, we’re going to check in on a few minor league developments. Quick Hits

  • SP
Bryan Mitchell, who made his MLB debut for the Yanks last year, looks
ready for another shot. On Wednesday — despite some wildness — he won
his second straight start, and he’s now held opponents to a .216 BAA
through 11 starts and 56 2/3 IP. Mitchell has not given up a homer this
    season.
  • Minnesota SP Ricky Nolasco (ankle) has been
put on the DL for the third time in 11 months. Tommy Milone, who was
dynamite in Triple-A (4-0, 0.70 ERA in five starts with phenomenal
command) has been recalled and started Thursday with less than
impressive results (nine hits, four runs — two earned — in five innings
with one walk and no strikeouts).
  • Another minor
leaguer getting the call is Detroit OFer Daniel Fields. His extra-base
pop at Triple-A this year has been very impressive (15 doubles, seven
triples, three homers for a .486 slugging) after he struggled so badly
in his Triple-A debut in 2014.

Are you ready for some Daily Fantasy Baseball? - Handicappers Hideaway

Are you ready for some Daily Fantasy Baseball?

Heading into the season, we discussed how tough it is to find power in Fantasy baseball these days, and as a result expressed our surprise that Mets 1B Lucas Duda took so long to get drafted in our league.

While he’s having a big season (at least from a slash line perspective),
it’s hard to justify investing $9,404 for him right now. After all,
following a huge end to May (six homers in last nine games of the
month), Duda has gone ice cold (3-for-18 in the last five games). On
Wednesday, he grounded out with the bases loaded to end the game.

Oakland 2B Ben Zobrist ($9,788) has not been a kind pick to us over the years. The last time we picked him
(in July), he was just 1-for-4, although he did manage a run. Meh.
We’re steering clear now. Sure, he launched a grand salami on Tuesday
(see video below for the great reaction from the Detroit kid who caught
it), but that’s one of just two hits Zobrist has managed over the past
16 at-bats.

In late-July
we predicted that a monster year was coming soon for Baltimore 3B
Manny Machado ($12,347). Well, he continues to improve at a modest
pace, so it’s going to take a huge second half for this to turn into
that monster season, but either way, we’re avoiding him right now.
Machado finished a nice May with a flourish, but has gone back into the
tank, going 2-for-12 since. And on Thursday, he has to face Houston’s
Dallas Keuchel, who is pitching like an All-Star this season.

Quick Hits

  • Have you noticed how Minnesota SP Trevor May is coming
into his own lately? Over his last four starts, his command has been
off the charts with 26 Ks and one walk in 26 2/3 IP. This is a
youngster you need to keep a close eye on.
  • Speaking of
young, impressive starters, how about Boston’s Eduardo Rodriguez? He’s
the first pitcher in the post-1900 era to last seven-plus innings in
both of his first two career starts and give up no more than a run and
three hits. Can this kid help turn Boston’s season around?
  • Chicago
Cubs SP Jon Lester not only endured his worst start of the season on
    Wednesday (5 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, 2 HR, 1 BB, 4 K), but he dropped to
0-for-61 as a hitter in his career.

Daily Fantasy Baseball advice for play on Wednesday, June 3 on DraftTeam - Handicappers Hideaway

Daily Fantasy Sports at DraftTeam

Welcome back, for more free Daily Fantasy Baseball advice for play on Wednesday, June 3 on DraftTeam. Let’s get to it!

The Boston Red Sox promoted RF Rusney Castillo ($8,174) a couple of
weeks ago to try to breathe life into a moribund attack that had seen
the team struggle so badly in May.

So far, it hasn’t exactly worked wonders. While Castillo drove in the
only run in Tuesday’s 1-0 win to give him three hits in the last two
games, he has yet to deliver an extra-base hit in nine games, and has
generally been unproductive.

He’s flashed some sweet leather (see video below) and we’re confident
Castillo will be a fine DFS play in time; unfortunately, that time has
yet to arrive, so we’re keeping him on the sidelines until he proves
himself more dependable.

Need a SP tonight? How about St. Louis’ John Lackey ($23,586) at home
against Milwaukee. Since getting dealt to the Cards last year, Lackey
is 6-1 with a 1.78 ERA in 10 starts in St. Louis, including Friday’s
seven shutout innings with nine Ks against the Dodgers. This season,
he’s 3-1 with a 1.30 ERA in five starts at Busch Stadium.

Last month, it made no difference where Lackey pitched — he was
splendid. He went 2-2 with a 1.89 ERA in six starts in May.The other
reason we love Lackey Wednesday is that Milwaukee has struggled to score
lately; in fact, in the first two games of this series, there has been
only two total runs scored.

The last time we recommended San Francisco C Buster Posey ($10,485)
in early August, he was “meh,” going 1-for-4 with a strikeout. We expect
better out of him Wednesday given how much he loves smacking
Pittsburgh’s Francisco Liriano around. For his career, Posey is 5-for-9
with a couple of ribbies against the Pirate southpaw. This should be
just what the doctor ordered to snap Posey out of a mini slump — he’s
just 1-for-10 over the last three games to drop back to .290 for the
season.

Quick Hits

  • Washington starting pitcher Max Scherzer had given up just three
dingers in 71 2/3 IP before Kevin Pillar of the Jays burned him twice in
    six innings on Tuesday.
  • Philadelphia starting pitcher Cole Hamels’ trade value just keeps
rising. Over his last five starts, he’s gone 4-1 with a 1.69 ERA while
whiffing 38 against just six walks in 37 1/3 IP. Considering Hamels owns
the Reds, Wednesday should offer more of the same domination.
  • The Oakland A’s were the worst team in baseball as of May 22. Since
then, the team’s rotation has posted an amazing 1.53 ERA over the last
10 games to help begin the turnaround.
