Minnesota won its last outing, a 25-16 win against the Tennessee Titans
on September 11. The Vikings covered in that game as a -2.5-point
favorite, while the 41 combined points took the game OVER the total.
In their last action, Green Bay was a 27-23 winner on the road against

NFL Week 2 Preview & Free Pick- Miami at New England - Handicappers Hideaway
The Miami Dolphins open play in the AFC East this season as 6-point road
underdogs against the New England Patriots according to the early
betting line at BetAnySports.
The total line is still at 42 for one of the featured matchups on CBS
for this Sunday’s Week 2 action in the NFL and game time from Gillette
Stadium is slated for 1 p.m. (ET). The Line opened as the Patriots as
4.5-point favorites and it has moved to the current number.
The Dolphins were in excellent position to pull off a huge upset against
Seattle on opening day as heavy 10.5-point road underdogs.
Unfortunately for Miami fans they blew a four-point lead with less than a
minute to play in a tough 12-10 loss. The total stayed well UNDER
BetAnySports’ closing 44-point line and it has now stayed UNDER in four
of their last six road games. Miami comes into this division tilt with a
4-7-1 record against the spread in its last 12 games against New
England.
To buck this losing trend, the Dolphins are going to need to find a way
to score some points behind Ryan Tannehill throwing the ball and Arian
Foster running it. Tannehill was limited to 186 yards passing against
Seattle and Foster racked-up just 38 yards rushing on 13 carries.
Miami’s defense deserves most of the credit for keeping last Sunday’s
game so close as a heavy road underdog.
The next man up in New England just so happens to be third-year vet
Jimmy Garoppolo in a relief role for Tom Brady as the team’s starting
quarterback serves out a four-game suspension by the league. The
Patriots were also without Rob Gronkowski for Sunday’s season opener
against Arizona which helped explain why the betting line ballooned to
9.5-points in favor of the Cardinals at home. Bill Belichick had his
team ready and the result was an impressive 23-21 victory against one of
the top teams in the NFC. The total in this game ended as a PUSH.
Garoppolo threw for 264 yards and a score in his first NFL start while
completing 24-of-33 attempts. Julian Edelman proved to be his favorite
receiver with seven catches for 66 yards, but he did a great job of
spreading the ball around to five other players. LeGarrette Blount added
70 yards rushing and a score on 22 carries. Even more impressive was a
New England defense that held the high-powered Cardinals to 344 yards of
total offense.
Give Miami credit for playing Seattle so tough, but I am sticking with the Patriots minus the 4.5-points with BetAnySports. This team is geared up to beat anyone it faces no matter which players are in or out of the lineup.

NFL Odds: Bengals Visit Steelers in AFC North Showdown - Handicappers Hideaway
There’s
no love lost between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers,
a pair of AFC North rivals vying for an early leg up in the division
race. Their matchup in Pittsburgh highlights the Week 2 card. Oddsmakers
have the Steelers as 3-point favorites and the total is sitting at
48.5.

The
Bengals (1-0) edged the New York Jets 23-22 on the road in their opening
game, led by the duo of Andy Dalton and AJ Green. Dalton was sacked
seven times and still passed for 366 yards and a score, which went to
Green. Green had 12 catches for 180 yards and torched the Jets' Darrelle
Revis all day long.
It's a
short week for the Steelers (1-0), who routed Washington 38-16 on the
road on Monday Night Football. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 300 yards
and three touchdowns – two to Antonio Brown, who had eight receptions
for 126 yards. DeAngelo Williams also ran for 143 yards and two
touchdowns for the Steelers.
The
Steelers have won four of their last five against the Bengals overall
and 15 of their last 24 at home with Cincinnati. However, the Bengals
have covered the spread in 12 of their last 17 road games.

The 3rd ranked Ohio State Buckeyes and the 14th ranked Oklahoma Sooners
will square off in a nationally televised game on FOX Network. Oklahoma
is trying to make it's season relevant again in National Championship

Oklahoma was a 59-17 winner in their most recent outing at home against

Unranked Auburn is a 3.5-point favorite at home over 17th ranked Texas A&M - Handicappers Hideaway
The 17th ranked Texas A&M Aggies and the Auburn Tigers will both
knock heads on Saturday night on ESPN when they battle at Jordan-Hare
Stadium. This SEC matchup should be a dandy as Auburn looks like they
are back to compete for the SEC West title after being down last year.
After giving Clemson a scare in the opener they want to legitimize
themselves tonight.
Oddsmakers currently have the Tigers listed as 3½-point favorites versus the Aggies, while the game's total is sitting at 54.
Auburn was a 51-14 winner in its last match at home against Arkansa
State Red Wolves. They covered the -20.5-point spread as favorites,
while the total score of 65 sent OVER bettors to the payout window.
Texas A&M beat the tee-total crap out of Prarie View A&M last

crown again in 2016.

So far, so good for the defending champions. The Alabama Crimson Tide
have started the 2016 season at 2-0 SU and ATS; this Saturday, they'll
be at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford to face the Ole Miss Rebels,
starting at 3:30 PM ET on CBS. Alabama is laying 11 points at press
time, up from –10 at the open.
Bet on college football at Bovada and get a free 100% bonus.
The Rebels (1-1 SU, 0-2 ATS) could be the right football pick at these
odds. They upset Alabama in each of their last two meetings, winning as
5.5-point home dogs in 2014 and 9-point road dogs in 2015. Since Nick
Saban took the reins at 'Bama nine years ago, Ole Miss is 2-7 SU and 6-3
ATS against the Tide. That includes 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS under head coach
Hugh Freeze.
However, Ole Miss may not have the horses to get the job done this year.
DB Ken Webster and RB Eric Sweeney have already been lost to
season-ending injuries, and the offensive line is replacing all five
starters from 2015. Then again, the Rebels should have the quarterback
advantage with senior Chad Kelly matched up against freshman Jalen
Hurts, who will be playing in his first away game.

10th Ranked Louisville hosts the 2nd Ranked Seminoles in a High Noon ACC matchup - Handicappers Hideaway
Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will be host to a nationally televised game
on ABC between the 2nd ranked Florida State Seminoles and the 10th
ranked Louisville Cardinals. ABC will beam the game across the nation
starting at 12 noon EST.
This game appears to be a high scoring affair on paper as we have two
explosive high-octane teams. We all know the fun and gun that Bobby
Petrino runs at Louisville. Cardinals' quarterback Lamar Jackson 's
strong early-season play has catapulted him into a legitimate Heisman
Trophy candidate. Jackson totaled 610 yards (411 passing, 199 rushing)
in last week's trouncing of Syracuse.
Florida State has been hit with some early season injuiries. They lost
standout sophomore safety Derwin James for at least five weeks and
possibly as many as 10 after he underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair a
torn meniscus in his left knee. The Noles' may also be without starting
defensive end Josh Sweat due to a left knee injury suffered in practice
on Thursday.
Sweat, a sophomore, didn't fly with the team to Louisville on Thursday
night, according to published reports. It remains possible he could
travel at some point on Friday if he is ruled fit to play.
Oddsmakers currently have the Seminoles listed as 3-point favorites versus the Cardinals, while the game's total is sitting at 69.
Louisville was a 62-28 winner in their most recent outing on the road
against Orange. They covered the -17-point spread as favorites, while

The fans at Nippert Stadium will enjoy a nationally televised game on

WIN Up To $6000 in RDG Corp NFL Last Man Standing Contest
This year we are DOUBLING your chances to win by running TWO Last Man Standing Contests.
1st $3,000 LMS starts, WEEK #2 – Thursday Sept 15th
2nd $3,000 LMS starts, WEEK #5 – Thursday Oct 6th
In the NFL Last Man Standing (LMS) contest players must pick 1 game per
week. There are no point spreads involved. The logic of the contest is
simple: If you win your pick, you will advance to the next round. If you
lose your selection, you are out of the contest. You can only select a
team once in the contest. A winner is declared once they have won their
daily selection and “all or one” of their opponents have lost their
pick(s).
Last Person Standing, wins the entire pot! There is no second place. If
there are still people left standing after the regular season the
tie-breaker will be season total points for outscoring your opponents.
For example: Edward23 picks Dallas Cowboys in week 1 and they win 21-10.
He gains 11 points. This cumulative total only comes into play for the
chance that there is more than one person left standing after all the
regular season have been played. If total points are also a tie prize
will be split.
All picks must be submitted before the 1st game of the week. If a
contestant misses the deadline to submit their pick, they will be give
the team with the highest point spread available, no exceptions.

The charge for Super Bowl 51 starts with more drama and controversy - Handicappers Hideaway
"Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy" (CC BY 2.0) by EDrost88
A February appointment in Houston is the goal for the 32 NFL teams about
to embark on the charge towards Super Bowl 51. Another season is upon
us and the gloves are already off as drama and controversy continue to
make the NFL compelling viewing across the globe.
Super Bowl 50 winners Denver Broncos opened their 2016 campaign with a
re-run of their victory over the Carolina Panthers last February. The
season opener at the Broncos’ Mile High Stadium had a dramatic climax,
after two touchdowns from running back C.J. Anderson gave Denver a
narrow lead. Graham Gano landed one field goal to bring the Panthers
within a point, but crucially missed another, allowing the Broncos to
hold on for a 21-20 victory, as reported by the BBC.
Despite their opening victory, the Broncos aren’t expected to retain
their crown, with star quarterback Peyton Manning having retired to
severely weaken their team. Meanwhile the Panthers are tipped to be
contenders again, with 2015 Most Valuable Player Cam Newton determined
to go one better and avenge their surprise showpiece defeat last
February.
Jostling for the favorites’ position in the Super Bowl odds
are the Seattle Seahawks, who have remained consistent since their 2014
victory. The Green Bay Packers are also being hotly tipped, and if the
Pittsburgh Steelers can overcome suspensions to some key players they
could also cause a stir. Dark horses for the Super Bowl crown are the
Arizona Cardinals, and what a story it would be if the up-and-coming
Houston Texans could steal the crown in February on home turf?
"Tom Brady" (CC BY-SA 2.0) by Keith Allison
Controversy has overshadowed the NFL’s off-season again, however,
ensuring that even without any footballs being kicked, thrown or caught,
the game is never out of the headlines. New England Patriots
quarterback Tom Brady, the game’s most celebrated player with four Super
Bowl rings, has finally accepted his four-game ban, which takes effect
from the first game of this season. The ban has been hanging over Brady
since the infamous January 18th 2015 play-off game with
Indianapolis Colts, in which he was implicated as playing a part in
Deflategate. 39-year-old Brady has fought the ban ever since but, as finally gave up in July and accepted his ban. If the Patriots can overcome this, they are likely to be challenging again.
Further furor has been caused by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin
Kaepernick when he refused to stand for the US national anthem before
pre-season games. In an act of defiance against racial tensions in the
USA, Kaepernick has split opinion, but his kneeling stance was copied by
Broncos’ linebacker Brandon Marshall in the season’s opening game, so
the controversy isn’t going away soon. Personalities continue to
dominate though, and New York Giants’ wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr
will be looking to maintain his blossoming reputation, but the
23-year-old has spent much of the off-season enjoying the fame of mixing
with Europe’s top soccer stars as he prepares to undertake his third
NFL season.

Monday Night Football: Rams and Niners face off in the late game on ESPN - Handicappers Hideaway
The newly located Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers are set to

are back in Los Angeles after spending the last 20 years in St. Louis.

Monday Night Football: Steelers and Redskins tee it up in the early game on ESPN - Handicappers Hideaway
The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Redskins will be battling in
the first of two Monday Night Football gamest at Fed-Ex Field. The NFL
has learned to maximize it's exposure by having two MNF games to open
the season for the last few years. As Asinine as it seems to fans on the
East Coast who can't stay up to watch the late game. The early game
should be a good match up as the Skins' should be much improved in 2016.
Oddsmakers currently have the Steelers listed as 3-point favorites versus the Redskins, while the game's total is sitting at 49½.
In their last action, Washington was a 35-18 loser at home against the
Green Bay Packers. They failed to cover the -2-point spread as
favorites, while the combined score (53) was profitable news for OVER
bettors.
Last time out for Pittsburgh, they were a 23-16 loser as they battled
the Denver Broncos on the road. The Steelers earned a push in the match
as a +7-point underdog, while 39 combined points moved the game UNDER
for totals bettors.

NFL Week 1 Preview & Free Pick- Green Bay at Jacksonville - Handicappers Hideaway
One of the more intriguing interconference matchups on the Week 1 NFL
slate this Sunday sends the Green Bay Packers on the road to face the
Jacksonville Jaguars in a 1 p.m. (ET) start at EverBank Field. BetAnySports has listed the Packers as 4.5-point road favorites with the total set at 48.
Green Bay opened the 2015 regular season with six straight-up wins and a
5-1 record against the spread, but a mid-season swoon sunk the Packers
to 10-6 SU on the year and into second place in the NFC North behind
Minnesota. They were able to rally down the stretch for bettors with a
5-2 record ATS in their final seven games. Green Bay went 3-1 (SU and
ATS) in the preseason this year with all four games staying UNDER
BetAnySports’ closing line.
You know that former league MVP Aaron Rodgers will be ready to go this
Sunday and he will have his favorite target Jordy Nelson back in the
lineup after missing last season with an injury. Along with this duo
anchoring the passing game, Green Bay will turn to Eddie Lacy as the
featured back in the running game. The Packers also have some big-named
talent of the other side of the ball and this unit is going to have to
step up its game after slipping to 15th in the league last season in
total yards allowed.
Jacksonville has not posted a SU winning season since 2007, but the
expectation level is as high as it has been in recent years behind some
good young talent on both offense and defense. The Jaguars went 5-11 SU
last season with a 7-8-1 record ATS. They did drop their last three
games of the season both SU and ATS with the total staying UNDER in two
of the three games. They were 1-3 SU (2-2 ATS) in the 2016 preseason and
the lone win was a 26-21 victory against Cincinnati in Week 3 as
1.5-point home favorites.
Blake Bortles enters his third season as Jacksonville’s starting
quarterback and his favorite target has been Allen Robinson. These two
hooked up 80 times last season for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. The
Jaguars also have Allen Hurns and tight end Julius Thomas in the passing
game and TJ Yeldon as the team’s top running back.
This is going to be a much closer game than expected to the point where I will take BetAnySports 4.5 points on the spread in a “best bet” pick on the Jaguars covering as home underdogs on opening day
