Harley Wyatt Interview with EasyStreetSports

I walk into the executive offices of EZStreetSports.com's offices in Costa Rica and am instantly impressed with the luxurious layout. I take a seat in the plush leather sofa and take in the extraordinary view of the valley mountains in Escazu. A few minutes later a pretty "Tica" leads me to the corner office. I'm here to interview a living legend, the one and only Alexander Powers, an industry veteran and General Manager for EZStreetSports.

Harley: Thanks for doing this Mr. Powers.

Powers: Just Powers and it's my pleasure.

Harley: Powers, Congratulations on being voted the #1 player friendly online sportsbook and casino this year, what?s your secret?

Powers: Thanks Harley. You know it's pretty simple, give the players what they want. A lot of the other shops out there try and complicate the issue with a bunch of nonsense. Players have been telling us for years what they want, CASH bonuses, fast free payouts and a user friendly website with exceptional customer service.

Harley: EZStreet hasn't been around that long. What do you attribute the massive success you've had in such a short period of time in such a competitive industry?

Powers: It's not how old the car is, it's the driver behind the wheel. Every one at EZStreetSports is an industry veteran from the Owners to the secretaries. I've been involved with this business for over 30 years going back to my days in Vegas. I've been on both sides of the counter and I know what I would expect as a customer and simply do it.

Harley: Powers, how important is it to get players paid quickly?

Powers: Paramount! It is the single most important thing for any sportbook or casino. Get the people paid and get them paid fast. Fast payouts make for fast friends. Most of our payouts go out the same day they're requested and every Tuesday payouts are free.

Harley: A lot of gamblers in the US love the idea of online betting but aren't convinced that it's safe. What do you say to them?

Powers: Harley, take a look around. I?m not standing in a phone booth with a pocket full of quarters. This is a multi-million dollar operation. Ask yourself this, what don't you do online these days? Everything from banking to dating, my friend bought a Jaguar online! What players need to know is that Security is the highest priority for us. We do not sell or share any of our client's personal information, not even with wives or girlfriends. Every transaction from wagers to deposits to payouts is conducted in a safe and secure environment which is transparent to the players. We don't play games with people and their money.

Harley: What can players expect when they sign up at EZStreetSports.com?

Powers: How about superior customer service for starters. We treat people like human beings, not just an account number. Our new website goes beyond gambling and offers our clients a full blown entertainment site with scores and stats to news and fun stuff like our EZ babe of the day and video clips with great football hits and stand up comedy.

Harley: What does the future hold for online gaming?

Powers: Gambling is one of those things that's been with us forever. As long as people want to gamble on sports and casino is how long we'll be in business. People need to understand that they have a god given right to gamble. Betting on football is about as American as it gets.

Harley: Tell us about Costa Rica, are the women really as hot as I've been told?

Powers: Harley are you married?...Well I am, and I love my wife, but every day I want to slap myself in the head when I see these girls walking around. Costa Rica is a paradise, it?s very modern and there's lots to do. We bring our VIP clients down all the time. We recently brought down a bunch of guys for a Poker tournament. All expenses paid and we paid out $15,000 in prize money. We all had a blast, most of them didn't want to leave.

EZStreetSports.com goes in one direction......Your way!

Division-leading Phillies Host Second-place Braves on MLB Betting Board

Division-leading Phillies Host Second-place Braves on MLB Betting Board

The Midsummer Classic is on its way but not before fans get chance to bet on MLB baseball for one final series. Just in time to lead fans into the All-Star break, the National League's top two clubs will square off in a three-game set starting on Friday.

Both the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves have done nothing but win this season, and it's their dominance in a tough NL East division that has made them each legitimate threats for the 2011 title.

According to Bodog's online sportsbook, the Phillies are the league?s early favorite with 11/4 odds of winning the World Series. The Atlanta Braves, hampered only by the fact that they?re stuck in the same division as the 2008 champs, have 18/1 odds.

Assuming the Braves can maintain their dominance, a National League wild card berth might just be in store. If they play their cards right and their division rival Phillies end up faltering, a division title may be in line as well.

One of the best ways the Braves can ensure that they?ll be in the conversation when it comes to the NL East race at the end of the season is to make the most of their opportunities against the team they?re chasing.

In nine games against the Phillies so far this season, the Braves have gone 5-4, but will have a tough time facing the top of Philly's rotation this weekend. Expect Roy Halladay to take the hill on Friday, before Cliff Lee and Cole Hamels follow suit.

Will Brandon Beachy, Tommy Hanson and Derek Lowe - an effective yet considerably less discussed triumvirate - be able to keep up?

Plenty of Derek Jeter Odds as Yankees Host Rays

The New York Yankees are sitting content in the American League East, atop not only their division but the entire league heading into the final series of the season's first half. There's a reason they're always a popular choice when it comes to MLB betting.

With a four-game set scheduled in Tampa Bay for the weekend leading up to the All-Star Game, all eyes will be on the Bronx Bombers as they look fortify their case as the league's dominant team - not far behind are the division rival Boston Red Sox.

But despite all the potential playoff drama in the series, it's one player in particular garnering the brunt of the attention these days: shortstop Derek Jeter in his quest for 3,000 hits.

There's still time to enter in the Draw for Jeter's Jackpot.

He's been subpar in 64 games with the club throughout the 2011 season thus far, but that hasn't stopped him from coming within striking distance of the legendary milestone. Already the glorified franchise's hits leader, Jeter can become one of just 28 players to reach the lofty plateau.

Will he break the mark in the series against the Rays? Tampa Bay isn't exactly what one would consider an easy opponent - let alone four times in a row.

Though they've had ups and downs over the course of the past few years, there's no denying that the Yankees - the 2009 champions - will always factor into the discussion of who will win the title. Through the first few months of the 2011 campaign it seems they've made an excellent case for being there. According to Bodog's online sportsbook, they have 6/1 odds of winning the World Series this fall.

Will the pressure of the looming milestone throw the Yankees off track in their series against the Rays?
