NBA Betting Online – No Bull for Chicago Defense and Playoff Run

Betting on Bulls NBA Basketball

No Bull for Chicago Defense and Playoff Run

The Chicago Bulls were coming off a season in which the made the
second round of the playoffs despite missing PG Derrick Rose for the
entire season and were looking forward to making a deeper run with Rose
on board but he was again injured for the entire season after just a few
games which has again forced the Chicago Bulls to rely on defense for
success both on the hardwood and at the betting window. The Bulls may
not be the most exciting team to watch but nobody works harder as
evidenced by their hard fought playoff series with the Miami Heat last
year in which they may have lost but left it all on the floor and made
Miami earn each of their wins.

Team Extreme

The Bulls were a favorite NBA Betting commodity for “undertakers” as they ranked last for scoring offense and best for scoring defense.

Coming Up

The Chicago Bulls will host the Portland Trailblazers on Friday,
March 28 before a home and home series with the Boston Celtics as they
will be at Boston on Sunday, March 30th and then host the Celtics on
Monday, March 31st before hitting the road for a game at the Atlanta
Hawks on Wednesday, April 2.

Handicapper’s Notebook

The Chicago Bulls have seen their home value increase considerably
after struggling for the first 3 months of the season as they have paid
out in 10 out of their last 14 games at home with 4 out of their last 7
home games going under the total. As good as they have been at home
recently, the Bulls have been a strong road value for the long term and
have 14 payouts in their last 20 away tilts with 5 out of their last 9
away games going over the total. The Bulls have also shown increased
value as a favorite with an even 5-5 split on over under totals in their
last 10 games as a favorite. The Bulls have come away with the money in
10 out of their last 14 games as a dog with 14 out of their last 20
games as a dog going under the total.

NBA Lines Odds — Miami Heat Have a Serious Shot at Three-peat!

Betting on Miami Heat Basketball

Miami Heat Have a Serious Shot at Three-peat!

The Miami Heat are coming off back to back NBA world
championships and are showing little evidence that they are going to go
away any time soon. While they are getting a run for their money by the
Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference race for the top seed in the
playoffs there is little doubt that they will be the favorites on the
NBA betting board to win it all again come the month of June.

Coming Up

The Miami Heat are at the Detroit Pistons On Friday, March 28th with a
game at the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday, March 29th. They then open a 5
game home stand with a matchup against the Toronto Raptors on Monday,
March 31st.

Handicapper’s Notebook

The Miami Heat are always a potential overlay on the NBA betting
board, especially at home, as the 2 time defending world champions and
with the most recognizable player in the game with LeBron James. When
you couple that with the general public always preferring the power home
team and you have the recipe for costly overlays on the board and
handicappers must be vigilant about value assessments with teams such as
Miami. The Heat have paid out in just 7 out of their last 19 home games
with 5 out of their last 8 home games going over the total. Miami has
been a better success on the road as the general betting public is less
enamored with taking away teams, regardless of how good that they are,
and have paid out in 8 out of their last 12 away games as 5 out of their
last 9 away games have gone under the total. The Miami Heat have seen
improved board value as a favorite recently with just 3 losses against
the spread in their last 11 games as a chalk. One of the best plays in
sports on any betting board is a power dog and Miami has certainly
excelled in that role with 11 payouts in their last 16 games as a dog
with 7 out of their last 11 games as a dog going over the total.

College Basketball Odds: Underdog Volunteers Face Toughest Test Yet

2014 NCAA Tournament

The Tennessee Volunteers hope to continue to write themselves into
the Big Dance history books this week, after a long journey that?s
already spawned three stops throughout the NCAA Tournament. Can they
beat the college basketball odds all over again? This time against their
toughest opponent yet?

Bet on college basketball at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

Cast as +3 underdogs against the No. 2-seeded Michigan Wolverines,
the No. 11 Volunteers will have to aspire to new heights if they want to
keep their run alive. While the Vols have broken onto the national
scene this spring, they?ve done so with a play-in victory over Iowa, an
upset of little-known UMass and an emphatic win over a No. 14 seed ? not
exactly top caliber competition.

Is there any reason to believe that Tennessee can contend against a legitimate powerhouse?

The Michigan Wolverines have 16/1 odds of winning the NCAA Tournament
outright while the Vols sit considerably further down the list at 28/1.
It?s Michigan that boasts the personnel advantage as well with Nik
Stauskas? 16.0 points per game pacing a well-balanced attack.

Can Tennessee exploit the fact that Michigan?s big man Mitch McGary
remains on the sidelines after a heroic tournament performance in 2013?
Jarnell Stokes may be able to; he is a 15.2 point, 10.7 rebound-per-game
threat for the underdogs and one that dropped 26 and 14 in their first
round slaying of Massachusetts.

2014 NCAA Tournament

“With Kentucky’s upset over Wichita State, we have seen quite a bit of
support for Kentucky on the odds to win it all and they’re now down to
14-1

after opening the tournament at 33-1. What I am surprised about, is
how heavily our bettors are taking Kentucky getting 4.5 points against
Louisville

with 70% of the money on them. I’m pretty comfortable letting them bet it and becoming a Louisville fan for that game.”

Betting on PGA Golf

PGA fans looking for a unique opportunity to bet on golf in a truly
traditional sense will get exactly that this week, as the Valero Texas
Open is scheduled to unfold Thursday without the majority of big names
that tend to dominate (and distract) in the sportsbook. Have insight
into how the wide open contest will go down?

Bet on the PGA at Bovada and get a free 50% bonus.

While Phil Mickelson still remains front and center as a household
name competing in the draw, casual golf fans will get more than enough
chances to broaden their knowledge with Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and
Adam Scott all passing on the event.

Suddenly contenders like Matt Kuchar, Zach Johnson and Jimmy Walker
are among the top tier of PGA betting options. Mickelson leads the way
with 14/1 odds, while Kuchar and Johnson trail at 18/1 and Walker
follows at 20/1.

Other notable options like Jordan Spieth and Charley Hoffman help
round out a competitive field. Spieth?s a red-hot 20-year-old and
Hoffman?s a veteran all too familiar with the event and course.

Can reigning champion Martin Laird repeat with just 50/1 odds? Is
there anything left in the tank for 2012 winner Ben Curtis at 150/1?
Time to start the research.

NBA Odds: Blazers, Hawks Face Different Challenges as Playoffs Approach

Betting on Hawks NBA Basketball
Betting on the NBA isn’t always easy this time of year, not with the
uncertainty that hangs over the playoff picture. For that reason, it’s
difficult to know what to make of fringe contenders like the Portland
Trail Blazers and the Atlanta Hawks. Teams who stand an excellent chance
of qualifying for the postseason, but struggle once they’re there.

Bet on the NBA at Bovada and get a free 50 % bonus.

With less than one month remaining in the regular season, the Hawks
will play host to the Blazers, each hungry to collect as many victories
as possible before seeds are clinched in their respective conferences.

For Damian Lillard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Portland, home court in the
Western Conference remains within reach. For Paul Millsap and the
short-handed Hawks, a simple ticket to the playoffs is priority No. 1.

With 40/1 odds of winning the NBA championship, the Blazers are the
more intriguing matchup. The Hawks, at 500/1 odds, are an obvious
longshot.

Still, while one may not rush out to bet on Atlanta to win a title
anytime soon, that doesn?t mean they’re not still capable of being
disruptive down the stretch. The Hawks are an interesting NBA betting
option for individual games, both motivated and competent enough to
compete with the toughest teams in basketball.

Will Portland be able to withstand the late-season test and prepare for what might come next?
